He doesn't purchase a car with even minor problems so he can't sell you any with even a slight problem.. The car you are looking for is 3.3, last time I checked his online pages

@poster, you sound desperate to get his your Toyota car and the way you sound you may be scammed or get a bad car. Calm down and take your time to search. When I wanted to buy my car last year it took me months after searching before I finally got a very good car that hasn’t given me any issue till today. I’m in PH but bought mine in Lagos. Car is about engine. A car may be clean but the engine is very bad.

For now, go back to PH. A friend went to Lagos last week to get this same Corolla but he couldn’t find a good one that meets his budget. He came back to PH without buying. If you have a friend or family member in Lagos tell them to search for you. You can also contact car dealers in PH. Take your time to search. Cars are now very expensive, don’t use your money to buy rubbish. Also, don’t make the mistake of driving an unregistered car to PH from Lagos. Policemen and Customs on the way will use yo,u shine.

most Corolla in ph are Asian spec. And the minimum price for American spec in ph is 3.7

First things first, get the VIN and revert back let me run a free VIN check for you. Avoid buying a savage(d) car. Do not, I repeat, do not buy any car without knowing the vehicle history. I don't know the craze about this particular model of corolla. I also do not know the reason for the over bloated prices but what I do know is, when the price falls below the average market price, then the car is most definitely from a savage auction.

I came to realized that most car dealers on jiji do not own cars. They are pure agents and middle men.

Bros, slow down. Take your expenses so far and go home. When your are relaxed you can resume your search again. Cars plenty but na so sharp guys plenty. N3M no be here oo.

The more I delay the higher the price of the car due to foreign exchange. As at February 2022, a clean tokunbo was worth between 2.3 and 2.5m. Now you can't find that same grade for 3m.

Modified: to clear the car few months ago was about 400 to 600k.
Now clearance cost 1.2m.

I have asked everywhere the same think.

You only mentioned two three places, you only mention meeting one person. For someone who is coming all the way from pH and is a nairalander I expected you to be wise and smart at the same time.

There are many car dealers on this section,you could contact one of them even before you set out on your journey. Lagos feed on johnny just come,they know and they will increase the price for you. The car you are talking about there are people who will sell cheaper than even your budget but you didn't bother to go to those places. Someone said you have the characteristics of being scammed which I actually believe,you don't go and joke with such amount of money.

Check my previous thread. Before I embarked on the journey I have contacted a dealer on this forum. His price and spec of car didn't match my budget.
I mentioned someone I met on jiji doesn't mean I visited only one person or car stand. I have gone around many car stands. Prices the same according to them they say the increment is due to the new custom duties.

And yes I only visited Ajah, Ikorodu and Apapa. Lagos is not like other places where you can move freely and easily. In Lagos to move from point a to point c may take you more than 3 hours.

I don't have all the time to stay in Lagos.
I have work to do in PH. I didn't even plan staying this long in Lagos.

You can still look around, and don’t rush in buying any of the cars. They are more corollas out there just take your time. For 3M you should be able to drive home with a clean vehicle
