Politics › Re: Peace Corps: Over 173 Signatures Collected In Bid To Override Buhari by Abeyjide: 11:11pm On Mar 05, 2018 |
obstead200: I support buhari on this. Peace corps is simply a duplication of duties and waste of cash. There are many other ways the govt can empower the youths without throwing cash on them like that. Being paid a salary does not mean employment is created, especially when such "employed" does not create or add value and also when the employment or job does not solve a given societal problem. The youths shud be empowered to add value to their society, not jus to wear another khaki style and loaf around the town, conflicting duties with police, civil defense (another mistake) and other paramilitary outfits you too much. when they veto the bill, some people will enter lagoon cos those national assembly guys already took 90% of it. |

the reasons for this is as a result of bribed given to national assembly by peace corp. the funniest thing is that they already have their own candidate and not those that paid to peace corp . they won't take up to 5% of those that paid.i still dey laf. peace corp also using the media to influenced the bill and more people to pay. |

Themandator: Security of a nation is not an avenue for employment generation. It is a selfless service in protection of humanity.
If any those guys who have enlisted in the corps is actually service driven, he or she should find his way either to the police or defence academy. kudos to your write up. I was telling a friend this same thing that security job is not majorly to reduce unemployment. jobs that will generate more revenue is call employment. the peace corp keep using various avenue to dupe people of their money. telling them to pay this that orientation disc 1200, developmental levy and so on. don't know why most of them are not using their brain. when you are desperate, that's when one's brain need to work well. |
