it's not the man's responsibility. however if he is in a position to help there's nothing wrong with it just like if the wife is in a position to help her husband's people she should also do it. marriage is about the joining of two people in love, and by extension, their families. no problem in lifting one another up.

You can't tell God who to bless. Do your own and face your front. Tithing is good, seed time and harvest time also remains but destiny is another factor so don't wait for anyone to be poor because they don't tithe. You may end up watching them become a billionaire. God also hates pride. So because you pay tithe should not make you proud and judgmental. Above all, Jesus (who we should emulate) did not go around condemning people and spreading message of doom but rather taught with encouragement, compassion, love and sharing. Instead of condemning your brother for not tithing, why not invite them to lunch, pay for it, ask how they are doing, be interested in their life, ask them how they are handling a challenge they may be going through and then share part of your testimony? They will be more receptive to what you're saying. They will want to find out about this Jesus that has transformed you and want to experience the love and peace you have found in Christ. Any church that is collecting money from you with condemnation and fear tactics is not following the example of Jesus Christ. Be blessed.
