Saudi Arabia intercepts 24 drones targeting Eastern Province and Shaybah oil field
Saudi Arabia
Al Arabiya English
Saudi air defenses intercepted and destroyed 24 hostile drones on Thursday, some of which were heading across the Empty Quarter toward the Shaybah oil field, while others were aimed at the Eastern Province.

Two ballistic missiles were also intercepted – one launched toward the Eastern Province and another toward Prince Sultan Air Base in al-Kharj – according to the latest tally of Iranian attacks targeting the Kingdom on Thursday.

A military spokesperson said Saudi air defenses downed seven drones in the Eastern Province, in addition to another drone in the Empty Quarter that was heading toward the Shaybah oil field.

On Wednesday, Iran also targeted the Kingdom again, attempting to strike the Eastern Province with around 21 drones near Dammam. Saudi air defenses also intercepted two drones in the Empty Quarter that were heading toward the Shaybah oil field.

Saudi Arabia reiterated that Iran’s attacks represent a dangerous and unjustified escalation with serious consequences for regional stability. It also stressed that Iran’s behavior does not reflect the principles of good neighborliness and does not serve the interests of peace.

But something is off in ADC that I still not understand, is it that there is no power broker there that can negotiate atleast two to three governor to decamp to the party?

If the governors that are decamping to Apc do not have political value as some people are saying how were they able to get to their current position.

Please this is no longer funny someone should help negotiate with those governors atleast 5 state need to be controlling by ADC before the next election.
CrimePolice DSP Shoots Himself Dead Amid Probe Into Supply Of Arms To Bandit by Abiodunstephen(op): 4:48am On Dec 19, 2025
Meanwhile, preliminary findings allegedly showed that 13 AK-47 rifles and more than 2000 rounds of ammunition could not be traced.

A Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) attached to the Mobile Police Force, Mopol 12, in Niger State has died while under investigation over alleged involvement in the diversion of arms and ammunition to bandits operating in parts of the state.

The officer, identified as Isah Abdullahi, also known as Kunkuri, was until his death the officer in charge of the Mopol 12 armoury located within the B Division premises of the Niger State Police Command along Paikoro Road, Minna.

The Sun reports that trouble began for the senior officer when a team of detectives from Abuja arrived at the unit for the routine annual audit of arms and ammunition.

However, during the exercise, several rounds of ammunition were reportedly found to be missing or unaccounted for.

Meanwhile, preliminary findings allegedly showed that 13 AK-47 rifles and more than 2000 rounds of ammunition could not be traced.

Investigators were said to have commenced auditing the AK-47 section of the armoury when the incident occurred.

Further investigations reportedly led to the arrest of Inspector John Moses, attached to the Niger State Government House in Minna.

During interrogation, Moses allegedly confessed that the late DSP supplied him with arms and ammunition, which were later delivered to bandits and other criminal elements operating in Erena community, Shiroro Local Government Area.

The inspector was also said to have disclosed that the weapons were sold through his brother, an indigene of the area who allegedly acted as an intermediary and informant to the armed groups.

Following the development, operatives from the Office of the National Security Adviser (NSA) reportedly stormed Minna and transferred the suspects to Abuja for further interrogation.

It was gathered that the late DSP was later returned from Abuja and taken to the armoury for a physical audit of weapons and ammunition. During the process, he reportedly accessed a pistol within the armoury and died on the spot.

Investigators said the officer could not be restrained at the time because the armoury operates an electronic control system, with access reportedly limited to him, allowing him to reach a weapon before officers could intervene.

However, in the aftermath, officers who accompanied him to the armoury were immediately arrested and are facing an orderly room trial over alleged negligence, while four policemen attached to the deceased had also been taken into custody for interrogation.

A special security team from the NSA is said to have taken over the armoury and is currently guarding the facility.

Confirming the incident, the Niger State Commissioner of Police, Adamu Elleman, told journalists that Inspector John Moses remains under investigation at the NSA office in Abuja.

The DSP brought out boxes that were supposed to contain ammunition and they were empty.

In the process, he suddenly produced a pistol and shot himself, Elleman said, adding that an autopsy would be conducted to determine the exact cause of death.

Also speaking on the matter, the Police Public Relations Officer in the state, DSP Wasiu Abiodun, said the officer was initially arrested on December 15, 2025, over suspected illegal dealings in ammunition.

Abiodun said on 16 December 2025 at about 2.30pm, one DSP Abdullahi Isah attached to Mopol 12 Minna was initially arrested on 15 December for being suspected to be involved in illegal dealings of ammunition.

He added that officers indicted in the audit had been arrested for negligence, stressing that investigations into the missing weapons and the wider arms supply network are still ongoing.

SportsBarça Newssaudi Crown Prince Considering Making €10 Billion Offer To Buy Barcelo by Abiodunstephen(op): 5:00pm On Dec 14, 2025
In a major development, it appears Saudi Arabian Crown Prince Mohammed Bin Salman might be interested in buying a stake in Barcelona.

According to El Chiringuito’s Francois Gallardo, the Saudi Crown Prince is ready to make an offer worth €10 billion to buy Barcelona.
This will go in line with Saudi Arabia’s strategy to make further inroads into sports, either through direct investment or through the Saudi’s Public Investment Fund (PIF).

€10 billion to buy Barcelona: A feasible offer?

Gallardo points out that Barcelona have a debt of over €2.5 billion that will be difficult to pay off.

Taking that into account, the Saudi Crown Prince is ready to make a €10 billion bid to buy Barcelona, which will theoretically grant him total control of the club.

However, such a deal is not possible, at least for clubs like Barcelona and Real Madrid, which are run by socios.
Barcelona as an entity is owned by its socios or members, who would never allow the club to be acquired by a foreign entity. This is something that is highlighted by Gallardo as well.

Although the Saudi Arabian Investment Fund can technically invest in Barcelona if the club splits its entertainment arm, that won’t allow PIF to gain control of the club’s day-to-day operations.
A similar strategy is reportedly being considered by Real Madrid, with Florentino Perez open to splitting the club’s entertainment arm and footballing arm, and allowing offers for investors to invest in the entertainment arm.
This could be the only way the PIF can invest in Barcelona as well. But apart from that, it is almost unimaginable for Barcelona to be fully acquired by a foreign entity, let alone PIF.

Nigeria's GDP is 199 billion dollars
But someone want me to believe Lagos GDP is 256 billion dollars? Lmaooo

The propaganda is now too childish no effort again
World Economics estimates Nigeria's 2024 GDP at $2.513 trillion in PPP terms (Purchasing Power Parity) and an initial estimate of $2.593 trillion for 2025. This figure is 91% higher than the official estimate published by the World Bank.
World Economics' methodology incorporates crucial factors often overlooked in official estimates, such as:

The size of the informal economy: It is estimated that 57% of Nigeria's economic activity occurs outside the formal sector.
Outdated GDP base year data: Many countries use outdated base years for their GDP calculations, leading to an underestimation of economic growth. Nigeria uses a 14 year old GDP base year.
By adjusting for these factors where required, World Economics provides a more accurate picture of Nigeria's true economic size and potential.

For reference, offical data reported Nigeria's GDP as $568 billion in 2015 constant prices and $375 billion in current prices for 2024.

"Just because you get married to a rich man doesn't mean you have to get half of his wealth and end up rich after dîvorce." __ Donald Trump

"Dîvorce has become a very lucrative business for women in the United States and I'm gonna put an end t it. If a woman marries a rich man, it doesn't mean she gets to leave as a rich woman after dîvorce.
If upon dîvorce the woman needs money, the man can borrow her a maximum of $1-million if she has a colleteral. $1-million isn't alot of money for the rich man but it should be a lot about for the woman because she didn't work for it.
If I'm worth $50-million, I'm not gonna give you $25-million after dîvorce. It's my money and I worked very hard for it. I don't care if we've been married for 6 years or even 25 years or even have children. If you don't have enough money to take care of our children, leave them with me. I think that just because somebody marries somebody that built something huge, doesn't necessarily mean that just because they get a dîvorce, that they should end up like the Queen of Sheba." ~ Donald Trump
