The Lady took to social media to describe her ordeal at the hands of some ostensibly Nigerian police officers. On her way to Lekki Phase II, the lady said she was robbed by the cops.

According to her, the Policemen pulled over their car at a checkpoint in Lekki Conservation Center and searched their belongings. She gladly handed over her suitcase to the authorities because it contained nothing incriminating. When one of the Policemen questioned what she was doing with weed, she was taken aback.

If she didn't give them N400,000k, they threatened to hand her over to the NDLEA. She ended up giving them N320,000k out of fear.

Education Minister Professor Adamu Adamu has said that the ongoing industrial action launched by members of the Union of Academic Officers of Universities (ASUU Strike) will be canceled within a week
The minister made the revelation in Abuja during his appearance before the Senate Committee on Tertiary Institutions and TETFund. According to Adamu, the government’s executive branch has already begun a plan to ensure that it honors the agreement between the federal government and ASUU.

Police Parade Two Suspects Who Killed 21-Year-Old Woman In A Hotel In Abia, Sold Her 11 Months Baby For N150K

Abia state police command has paraded 25-year-old Chimaobi Anyim Kalu of no. 44 Nwogu Street, Ngwa Road, Aba and his accomplice, 21-year-old David Ogwo Orji of Umunkama Roundabout, Ngwa Road, Aba in connection with the killing of 21-year-old Chimhurumnaya Udeh, female a native of Edda in Ebonyi State, ABN TV reports.

She was killed at Merry Home Hotels Ogbor Hill Aba on 15 April, 2022, and her baby boy of about eleven months old taken away, Commissioner of Police in Abia State, CP Janet Agbede told newsmen during the parade of the suspects at police headquarters in Umuahia on Monday.

Narrating the incident, the Commissioner of Police said on 16th April, 2022 at about 0010hrs, one Felix Abengowe the proprietor of Merry Home Hotels Ogbor Hill Aba reported that an unidentified female corpse with a sharp cut on her neck region was found in one of his hotel rooms.

According to her, police detectives on arrival at the scene, were further informed that the suspects escaped with the baby boy of the deceased Chimereobioma Silver, 11 months old after killing her.

The CP added, "Furthermore, between 15 and 16 May, 2022 upon information, the above suspects were arrested in connection with the case. It was discovered that both of them are motorcyclists from Ugwueke in Bende Local Government Area of Abia state. Chimaobi Anyim Kalu resides at No. 44 Nwogwu Street, off St. Dominics street, Ngwa road Aba while David Ogwo Orji lives at Umunkama roundabout off Ngwa road Aba.

Hello all
My girlfriend wants me to wear same native attire to her niece wedding on Friday. I thought she was joking when she suggested it last week, because I don't even plan on going due to my busy schedule. But to my surprise she's just came to my house with some yards of the material she bought with her money.

Though I appreciate her good gestures, but I don't think it's right.. We are not married. What will her people say when dey see me with her like that because her father, mother, brothers and sisters will be there, not talking about her extended families.

I had to confide with a friend and he told me blantly that it is a set up, I should abort. That he had witness a similar case in a party when a guy was behaving as if he had paid his girlfriend bride price...what happened was the guy didn't leave the way he came. I won't want that to happen to me but before I decide I like to hear from you all.
