i have always said that you cannot run a company on 5% commission. how do you charge drivers 15% then give it all back to them ? are you MMM?

sooner or later their business strategy will crash because it isnt sustainable.

they cannot introduce promo because they arent making any money. uber can afford promos because they make money. from their 25% profit, they give back to drivers in form of promo. thats why they dont run promos weekly.

* Honda City (2004- 2008 model)

The fares are too cheap. Don't wreck your nice car
( Corolla, Camry or whatever) for the sake of Uber. It's not worth it.

Some of you (existing partners) should sell your current fine car (s) and buy older cars in order to survive.

You guys put in a lot of effort yet what do you get in return

I've been doing car hire business even before Uber started in Nigeria and I know how challenging it can be.

In life you need to evolve...

Only older and cheaper cars can survive on Uber right now. Mark my words. Some partners will never make profit from this business

That aside, it's not an issue of gps malfunction but direct cunning-Ness. The truth was he could get away because it was a card trip if not. I await uber response first.

Also I heard a driver can set location from driver's app to get him rider's request to a particular area of Lagos. Eg.. you are in Lekki and set your app to receive only request of a rider who's going to say Festac or Ikeja.
Guys I need valid clarification on all these. Thank you guys....

One of my painful experience with Uber. I pick up a lady from Maryland to local Airport. With 45minutes to 1 hour traffic before getting there. Uber calculate fare at N285 at end of d trip, I was mad, to me it's like I bought N1000 fuel to make N285. The lady was so surprise and pitied me and gave me 1k because she knew d fare is very cheap and not worth d trip. Here is d screenshot
