Austine1213:What legislation are you talking about, you can deport people. But in South Africa they were full on burning the people to death throwing people out of buildings, shooting them, stabbing them, that never happens to foreign nationals in other African countries, and if it did not on the same scale as in South Africa. What happened there was xenophobia and that is a fact. Don’t lie to yourself. |
Here’s jara mall Lagos outlet. This is how most of their stores are going to look, and majority of the food is made and produced right here in Nigeria, cheap prices, quality produce in a neat environment. They will go very far with this model. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rz6L0wCgzxQ |
mzansiboy:And did you agree with what they were doing. |
Austine1213:Exactly. |
mzansiboy:If the xenophobic attacks didn’t happen then they would still be in Nigeria, less Nigerians went there, the stores were looted and some were even burnt because of xenophobia. More Nigerians wanted to go to Nigerian stores rather than South African ones which is why prince ebeano, humor and jara have been growing so well recently. Had you stupid South Africans not carried out your xenophobic attacks on other Africans, then shoprite would likely still be here https://www.trendtype.com/news/shoprite-exit-nigeria/ |
JaceBlaze:15 years they dialed because of xenophobia back in South Africa from 2003-2015 they were growing by more than 10% annually during the xenophobia crisis in South Africa, their sales and customer volume dropped by -56% and till now it had only gone up to -14%, which meant that there was no point of having a business Nigerian income had nothing to do it. |
This mall is probably larger than palms, I’m not sure though. |

|
forgiveness:Shoprite is also leaving Kenya don’t mind the fool meanwhile jara also owns a mall in ikeja, thst has a cinema, bukka hut, jara supermarket, puma store and other store chains coming
|
surplusk:That’s where shoprite is. Inside of the palms mall as well as in the Kwara and Ibadan mall I think. |
surplusk:Exactly. |
Here’s jara supermarket chain, it stores look better and cleaner than shoprite ones, and they are cheaper. They currently have three lcostjins two in Lagos and one in edo. They are planning on building another 20 in the next three years.
|
surplusk:It is being sold, and yes he is the most likely person to buy it, because he owns the malls that they operate in anyway. Added to that I think he is going to rename it jarra if twitter ng is anything to go by. |
JaceBlaze:This is such a lie. You think there weren’t any escalators in Nigeria, infact the shoprites don’t even have escalators, they failed because you could buy 10 times what they sold for the same price, does that even make sense. If you can save money and buy in bulk elsewhere would you not. Other shops like prince ebeano, hubmart etc are still surviving because their prices are lower and their shops are of similar standard, shoprite doesn’t know how to operate in a Nigerian environment, so they are giving away the company to Nigerian investors who actually understand the needs of the Nigerian population. |
JaceBlaze:I grew up there thank you very much. And I know the road is very long but I wouldn’t personally consider it in Sandton. For me Sandton is sandown, grayston, Rivonia and morningside I don’t see how William nicol is part of it. |
AKK pipeline has started 2.8 billion dollars, 4000MW, textile factories, cotton ginneries all powered, factories powered. Thousands employed.
|
Nigeria t get constant power supply. Siemens has started construction in partnership with the Nigerian government. Cry if you want, but this will be completed and when it is. Nigeria will have an economic boom, electricity has been one of the largest bottlenecks in Nigeria’s development, we lose over 30 billion dollars from it and scare away potential investors with this, everything will change.
|
mzansiboy:For now. |
kikuyu1:I don’t know who you think will believe your BS. Especially since you believe in reptilians, your delusional go sleep child. |
kikuyu1:Call it whatever you want, the government is taking ownership of the houses and selling them away at much cheaper prices to people looking to get houses in Abuja. Added to that those people who claim there aren’t toilets are talking shift the informal settlements. Thst were set up outside of Abuja because housing was too expensive for them. So now with the governments move, they will have a house to live in and those informal settlements will be destroyed and so will Abuja’s pooping problem, cry if you want. |
68816419:They already operate in Ghana, and when ajaokuta is completed they are planning in using the steel for their cars, currently they import the engine, frame, exterior covering, glass, steering wheel and wheels, when ajaokuta is completed they will use the steel from there for their cars. And they are also rehabilitating Alscon so they will also get the aluminium. They also use Nigerian leather for their seats. |
If I speak I’m in trouble ![]()

Any plans for a new or renovated university. And a mass housing program |
But I don’t agree with your Islamization theory it is completely wrong as far as I’m concerned and I’m not going to argue about it. |
I suggest a 40-60% split of resources, there is a prime miniter in each region and there are 3 regions. Out of any money made in the region the prime minster takes 40% of it and the governor of the state also takes 40% of what his state produces then the rest of the money goes to the federal government to spend on federal roads, federal railways, federal airports, federal housing, federal hospitals, federal universities etc. |
SUFFERInSMILIIN:Every single country is in debt America is 110% in debt what’s your point the U.K is in 101% debt what’s your point. Zimbabwe has been sanctioned so no Nigeria is that the same as Zimbabwe. Infact Zambia, Congo and Ethiopia are the african countries that have taken the most Chinese loans |
Apparently a fire started at an explosive depot where they and confiscated illegal explosives from a ship months before which caused the massive explosion |
You should got from door, to door to try and get support ultimately the average person from rivers state isn’t on nairaland. So you need to do street mobilization also on twitter Facebook, Instagram etc. |
Ikennamurphy:His point is when your money is being embezzled then you will protest, but it’s not so you just complain but not protest. |
GamalNasser:That is totally untrue Nigerians don’t pay income tax only 10 million Nigerians pay income tax, |
joyandfaith:That’s not the tax he is talking about, in the U.K they have income tax where a specific percentage of all the money you make go to the government, they also have council tax, where a fixed rate is taken from everyone living in thst council and they use that money to build houses roads, schools, hospitals etc, in the U.K they have all of that and more, only 10 million Nigerians pay income tax. Which creates 27 billion dollars for Nigeria if 100 million Nigerians paid tax than Nigeria s budget would by 270-310 billion dollars, but we don’t that’s why Egypt and South Africa have higher budgets than us because their citizens pay income tax more than Nigerians do. And his point is when your money is being stolen by politicians then you will have a Problem, for now it is just the revenue made from resources in the country. So you don’t really care about it. |
Austine1213:Since when was William nicol in sandton, William nicol is inbetween fourways and bryanston |
