Still a midget when compared with oil and has infrastructure.

You can do better sir, stop celebrating mediocrity
Bitumen is a hydrocarbon and so is oil, I’m not sure what your point is or what point your trying to make.

Added to that with the 60% connection we only need 25 000MW to power all houses, but the government is going above that and creating 32 000MW, they have paid Siemens the counterpart funding so in the next 4 years with the Siemens contract we will reduce 25 000 MW, currently we produce 7000MW, how will we get to 25 000 you may be wondering. Well there will be 3500MW from mambilla hydro dam, an additional 750MW from zungeru, 300MW from the solar power plant in Niger state, and 3650MW from the akk pipeline and 7000MW from solar mini grids, as well as the upgrading of the egbin thermal power station to 3000MW, this will cost 10 billion dollars. When Nigeria gets electricity right, then no other country in Africa will be able to compare to it.

You cant understand? then you cant resolve.

Electricity generation and consumption, Steal production and consumption just these two things can tell if a country is progressing or not.

You just have big population and big oil reserve but nothing else.

Come and see Nairobi, you will have to wait for weeks to see a power-cut.
Aren’t you the same idiot who said it is quicker to go around Africa from Nigeria tog dt to India than it is to go through Africa by rail, come and prove to me, last time when I tried to school you, you didn’t reply come and reply this time I’ll bring the evidence again for you if you want.

We are staging where we now invent our own facts and choose which one to trust. Nigeria is the POVERTY Capital. And it will remain so for many many years. India is growing at 6-10%. It's making poverty history.
Nigeria doesn’t have more poor people than India, and it’s a fact, common sense comes before outdated data, wait for the next census, then we’ll find out not just by pure speculation.

Rural development on the back of succesfully cooperative based small holder agricluture is key to reduce slumpolis - otherwise everyone young person will run to urban areas as soon as they come of age.
Nigeria isn’t the poverty capital, that report is obviously fake, India has 24% of the worlds poor, whilst Nigeria has 12% which means it is 88 million people are poor in Nigeria not the massively over inflated 140m that your peddling around, it is almost impossible for India to have less poor people then Nigeria.

We also have another 600m second nyali bridge.
Pic one is gate way bridge 1,400m.
Pic 2 is the second nyali bridge 600m
1.4 km is not even close to the longest bridge in Africa. The third mainland bridge is 10.3 km and you want to tell me that 1.4km is the longest bridge in Africa, funny please get your facts right next time.

True, but you can't say skyscrapers and highrises make zero impact as well.
Skyscrapers portrays the modernity and aesthetic view of a city.
Infrastructural development is different from human development.
They make a city look better and more modern but it doesn’t add more development.

why do alway cry when you hear tall Buldings.
Have you seen the iconic Singapore city with the glitter of nice skyscrapers.
When we say Nairobi is aiming jorburg, we don't necessarily base it on skyscrapers.
We have moreeeeeee iconic low rise and highsrise structures coming up.
The moderty of architectural designs is what is making Nairobi.
Having tall buildings and high rises isn’t what makes a city developed, look at Amsterdam for example, they have good roads, good cycling, good walkways, electricity, water, parks, greenery but not a lot of skyscrapers and high rise.

Joburg to Pretoria - is what 40kms. Joburg to Sandton 15kms. Nairobi including it's metro is close to 7.5M people. In terms of skyscrapper - tall buildings - Nairobi is nearly catching up - even when Sandton is included.
Tall buildings isn’t what creates a city, the schools, hospitals, roads, parks, sewage all matter, in majority of Sandton and joburg you will never see a flooded road, even when it rains heavily roads won’t be flooded, which is what you should be aiming for not, having the most tall buildings.

Sure, but Rand will not be the currency we will adopt.
Exactly, we would be better off making a completely new currency, get our inflation rates, monetary values, currency strength, etc so that the currency doesn’t collapse, then we merge central bank it isn’t plausible to use one country’s currency in my opinion.

Do you understand the value of using a single currency, i doubt you do.
Nigerian naira is dead, and it will only keep going down because is linked with Nigerian economy.
Nope, the ECO currency if it is actually done will be stronger than the rand, provide more trade inter connectivity etc, the benefits are way more than taking the currency of South Africa.

Maybe in the old days you'd have made sense. In those old days the country, the state, the companies, and even religion were intertwined. In the modern world we are in era where everything is separated. A country or state strictly does state or national affairs. A Nigeria company can come -actually - can log online - and register a subsidiary in Kenya - and be in Kenya. Abuja doesn't have to know they are here in Kenya selling pepper soup.

The world has changed.

Now Europe is more interested in EU - cooperation, integration and etc

While you want to go to stone age - and start country wars and enmity of 10th century.

You need to evolve fast.

Now the modern world is split into state, nation, non-state actors, private sectors, ngo, public sector, individuals and name.

Then fast forward to globalization and villagization of the world.

I have been talking recently to Chinese manufacturers on ALibaba.. I don't care about Beijing...neither do they know about Nairobi.

All we will want to agree on them supplying me.

It's a new world.
It’s not because of any of that, it is because of slavery, slavery is the business that is still benefitting America, Canada and most European countries.

Shoprite is building the malls, not the government, the government attracted shoprite, hubmart and prince ebeano supermarket to expand up north and build malls there.

There is a difference between disciplining and child abuse, I was beaten as a child, but not to the where I was getting swellings on the face and bleeding, maybe a swollen bum or back, but to give the child a swollen eye, bloody head, bloody nose, that’s not discipline that is outright abuse on the child.

Whereas for an average container ship traveling at 16-25 knots, would have to travel 10 905 km to go from Calabar to lamu, here are the calculations below, 16 knots is equivalent to 30km/h and and 25 knots is equivalent to 46km/h

Foreign AffairsRe: Kenya Is Ahead of Nigeria In All Aspect (Facts Don't Lie) by Abohboy: 11:06pm On Jul 27, 2020
If we assume that the railways will be the standard 150km/h, than the distance between Calabar and LAMU, as a crow flies is 3693km. Which means it would take about 25 hours for cargo to go from Calabar to lamu,
