Wide ranging issues, ill make a follow up on the story

Some in Nigeria are celebrating, some are saddened some are blaming government..

We'll check it out maybe have a small discussion here about it here, what you say?
It’s apparently fake news, according to vanguard the report posted by channels news is fake, but if it was true, it would make sense their sales are going down, their products are too expensive, stocks are falling etc.

Lol nigeria has lots of green tropical green, great potentials

Did you hear shoprite leaving Nigeria
They couldn’t survive, they depended on importing, and their sales were dropping because the rice of their food was too expensive when compared with street traders and other competitors like prince ebeano, hubmart, spar, market square etc, so they had to leave Nigeria.

Burkina Faso did similar thing to Ghana.
Upon all the agreements we had with them, they still went ahead to build their dam, the water level in our dam went low and we suffered light outage for years.

But what did we do?
We invested more into Power plants, we built new hydro-dam and we are now investing into Solar power. This is common sense.

When Burkina Faso Dam is full, they just open the dam, it costs us lot of life's, properties and farm lands but we do not fight them.

Our authorities keep on speaking to their authorities to inform us ahead of time so we can prepare.

Very soon a multi-purpose Dam will be started at the Northern part of Ghana to solve that perinial destruction always caused by the Burkina Faso Dam.

So Egypt should give us a break
But Egypt can’t just get more water. It is basically a desert.

vankelvin:
And that is senseless on their part.

You can't dictate to other countries in such bossy manner. Did they build the Dam on their land?

These Egyptians should calm down,
River Nile doesn't belong to them.

Burkina Faso Dam caused we Ghanaians to sleep in Darkness for some years, we didn't go about threatening them.
The part of the river in their country belongs to them so we cannot dictate to them as to how they should use their part of the river.

This is not an issue. Egyptians should shut up.
It is not light that matters, Egypt depends on the water of the Nile for agriculture, irrigation and the general water consumption of its population. If the water levels reduce than so does their agricultural yield, which means they would lose mass amounts of money and their nation would start to starve, it is for them to dictate because the dam can reduce the water levels in Egypt which would drastically hurt them. It’s like if you own an agricultural processing factory and a farm, the fertilizer and animal feed you use is gotten from cassava peelings, than one day someone comes goes to the person who gives you the cassava peelings and says they want to use it for electricity. So now you can’t feed your animals, grow your plants so you can’t process the, either. Your company will fail, will you not try and stop the person from doing it or you would just let your firm die, and your family starve.

Egyptians are still holding the contracts signed by British gov in colonial era which involves downstream nations. But what Egypt fail to do is most nations don't care about the so called contracts.

Instead of trying to beg and negotiate, the Egyptians are threatening to go to war which they can't win and it is just worsening the very fragile matter.

Again,I doubt if Egyptians can fight and win a war! I never heard them winning any war, they think purchasing weapon equates to war victory,What a fallacy! Even a madman can buy weapons.
Egypt would win a war against Ethiopia, I don’t care what you think or what you say, they have a larger armed forces, More helicopters, more tanks, more jets, make air defense, more advanced technics and they are the most well equipped and number 1 military in the whole of Africa whilst Ethiopia ranks in like 8th or 9th at best.

No it’s just that a lot of people are not in serious enough conditions to stay in hospital, so they just send them home, and tell them to stay there and self isolate. They do that everywhere.

rvp2018:
Kenya total road network now surpasses Nigeria.
As of 2018 - Kenya now have 246,000km - Nigeria has 195,000 - despite being twice larger than Kenya in landmass.
This thanks to Kenya rural development focus and 9B dollars investment in road network the last 7 years.
https://www.icrc.gov.ng/135000km-road-network-nigeria-un-tarred-icrc/
https://www.standardmedia.co.ke/the-standard-insider/article/2001380893/kibaki-vs-uhuru-a-tale-of-two-presidents-through-kenyas-roads

The survey, done by the Kenya Roads Board (KRB), documents the evolution of the country’s road network from 63,000km in 2003 to 161,000km in 2009 and then 246,700km in 2018.

Tanzania road network is 86,000 km - very shameful - for a country larger than Nigeria and nearly equal South Africa.
Ghana road network is 67,000 kms

South Africa has one world largest road network at 750,000kms. Nigeria and Tanzania need to aim for that. Kenya for about half that - 350,000kms - so we still have 100,000 kms of roads to go - before we start talking about paving them.
Over half the time, China didn’t even build up to half of the roads you claimed Kenya built. I seriously doubt that Kenya has built more roads per year than China, stop spreading lies, we can easily see through them.

Breaking news

The age of modern technology seems to have come and now it is going. Mobile companies like MTN safaricom Glo have made a lot of money but that age is coming to an end. The new satellite internet by SpaceX starlink, oneweb, Amazon kuiper is going to force the mobile operators out on business with very cheap internet and unlimited bandwidth. Right now space x is beginning to offer people satellite internet for just 80 US dollar per month which you will get 100 mbps download and 50 mbps upload unlimited bandwidth which means you can download all you want. The cheapest mobile operator currently in Africa can only provide this service at 300 US dollar per month. SpaceX is launching over 10000 satellites for high-speed internet already they have 600 in space right now. Oneweb has just launched 90 satellite for high-speed internet mobile companies in Africa are totally finished
.
I think you mean mobile companies worldwide are done, not just Africa, added to that they are only offering it to the USA market for the next few years.

They are not on,y being killed by Christians this is how the media is trying to divide Nigeria through religious lines. It is both Muslims and Christians being killed by Boko Haram. Boko Haram have gotten Muslims girls to commit suicide bombings inside of mosques. It is not only Christians being killed stop spreading hate, deceit and propaganda.

Not true whatsoever. These independent sources just agree with Boko Haram without any evidence either. That is exactly what they want you to believe. Clearly you are unaware that foreign countries want Nigeria to fall. How did bandits get AK-47s tell me how does Boko Haram still have so much weapons and ammo, it doesn’t make sense. Bandits started once the US drone bases in west Africa finished construction. If we continue like this Nigeria will become Libya, and none of us want that to happen do we. A lot of media are controlled by the government, look at BBC and amnesty they are both run by governments. One officially and one secretly, added to that Boko Haram has repeated photos over 10 times but you still believe them. I pray for Nigerian like you, because the day that there are millions of you all Ofer Nigeria. And Nigeria splits or a President is assasinated when America and France invade the country, put in their own president and control the country how they want, don’t come crying back.

Yes, US higher education is well funded and endowed. It like everything successfully. It create a self-sustaining ecosystem. The alumni donates billions - and those billions provide the resources - to attract the very best students, lectures, name it.

As for Africa - Nigeria has this thing where if one Nigerian (mostly in diaspora) is doing well - then all Nigerian are doing well.

The average Nigerian is cattle herder in Minna or Jos or name any of those fulani-hausa.

The south Nigerian is probably a thug or kidnapper...

Kenya - ask them Tanzanian or Ugandans or name them.
This is also not true, Nigeria has the highest percentage of its population as entrepreneurs over 30% of Nigerians are entrepreneurs whilst another 40% are people working with these entrepreneurs. Leaving only 30% for cattle herders etc, hence it is not the majority. Your grasping at straws at this moment, your struggling to make any fair point, so your just using unproven stereotypes and outright lies. To try and make Kenya seem more credible.

Nigerian diaspora. Start from Obama and count that for Kenya. Per capita - Nigeria dominate the diaspora. But for every one brilliant Nigerian - you have 1,000 drug dealers and street urchins. Every street in western world - you'll find the Nigerians selling drugs in train stations, parks and name it - and acting like complete monkeys - throwing garbage everywhere - breaking all the laws - behaving totally like animals. West Africans - like African American - you totally messed it up for Africa and black people. You behave in ways no asian or any other race can behave...like animals.
Accoridng ti estimates for every 1 bad Nigerian there are 9 other good Nigerians sorry. Added to that I went into Stratford today and I saw at least 30 other Nigerians not one was doing shady business, I even had conversations with them. Your lies are numerous it’s almost laughable. Added to that Obama grew up with an American mother no Kenyan influence for him. Which means he is essentially American.

My friend US white kids who come to Kenya are in another level. I work with most of them. They are top brain worldwide. These are kids from harvard, yale, name them.

Kenya is incredibly lucky to attract that kind of talent - nearly for free. These are the best brains anyway in the world.

We are losing to Rwanda because of our stupid work permit policy.

Nobody can beat the US elite higher education - which is why China, Vietnam and even Japanese are paying anything to send their kids there.

Kenyans have best brain in Africa - but US kids from silicon valley and ivy leagues are on another level.

These are incredibly smart people coming to kenya to launch social enterprises - using their high grade brains. I have worked with some of them - and I have tremendous respect for them.
Kenya has the best brains in Africa really. Don’t make me laugh. If that was so we would be seeing Kenyan specialists all around the world. Nigerians are the best brain in Africa. You will see Nigerian doctors, scientists, fashion designers, politicians, philanthropists etc, outside of Nigeria doing great things, when was the last time you heard the same of Kenya.

A big joke.
So you want to tell me the airbag, steel frame, cooler, seats etc are made in Kenya, fat chance, Nigeria also had indigenously made cars, Innoson imports the engine and steel parts, the rest is made in Nigeria, Seats, driving wheel, windows, pipes etc. there is also an indigenous electric car company called JET EV not sure if they import. Not sure what point your trying to make though, Jet EV has started exporting to Ghana, Togo and Benin. And Innoson has started exporting to Chad, Niger and Sierra Leone.

PoliticsRe: Akinwumi Adesina For 2023 Nigeria President Best Candidate by Abohboy: 10:08am On Aug 01, 2020
I hate this rotational presidency, it shouldn’t be rotational, it should be based on whoever is the best candidate, so just because it s South East’s turn, you will vote a murderer with autism into presidency abi. And adesina cannot run for President in any case. He is looking for a second term at afdb which will last until 2024, after the election. I am thinking of osinbajo or umahi for President, the only problem with umahi, is he spends money on churches and he limits freedom of speech. Otherwise infrastructure wise he s doing very well. I personally want osinbajo to become president and umahi to be the federal minister of works. Nigeria needs massive reforms in it’s constitution, education etc, my father personally knows osinbajo, I am very sure that he will be able to help Nigeria to leap into the next generation, my opinion though.

What does Nigerian have? lipsrsealed lipsrsealed
Thank you for asking, Nigeria has the most mangroves in the whole of Africa, rainforests, savannas, rolling hills all around the country. Smooth rock hills in the southwest, mountain ranges and hills in the eastern area. Waterfalls all around 5e country. For example gurara, it has very beautiful beaches, some are white sand, it has some very clean rivers nestled deep inside water forests. Clean springs of different colours, deserts and sand dunes, very rocks steep mountains, big rivers, lakes and oasis’s that’s what I can think of for now.
