rationalhuman:It is quicker to go through Africa. The railway takes it across Africa faster than a ship which will have to go from Nigeria all around Africa up to Mozambique than go forward to Indonesia and Malaysia, meanwhile within that time the ship would already be navigating the channels, because it is quicker to go through Africa than it is to go around Africa. What do you think the suez canal is, or have you never heard of that, there were direct routes but it was quicker to go through Egypt to get to Europe, so they created it to make trad quicker. Make sense litttle child or should I dumb it down a bit more for you. |
rationalhuman:Your an absolute idiot, going through central and East Africa is quicker, if you can trade quicker it creates more time which creates more productivity, your understanding is like that of a 7 year old. |
They should destroy the gate and wall boundaries, individual shops will have their gates and barriers, but it should be freely integrated into the city. |
This is the render for the airport. It is mostly for cargo operations but there will also be passenger operations, they expect most of the money to be made through cargo operations, which is a good estimate.
|
rationalhuman:Plus i said that the route was more direct, where did I mention that there would be no ocean. |
rationalhuman:Okay let me show you what I mean. The fact that you don’t understand that cutting across the african continent is quicker shows how far stupidity and Shea ignorance can go on the internet.

Shma:In some places, just like everywhere in Africa ![]() |

This is how I like the thread to be. Constructive criticism and positive analysis. Let’s keep going like this, people like SUFFERinSMILIN and mxrap are extremely bias towards Kenya and have no positive views whatsoever for Nigeria, which is what annoys me. Anyway let’s keep going like this ![]() |
mtisTheQubit:Interesting. That’s one of Africa’s largest problems, exploitation from foreign nations which provide no benefits for Africa. If Africa could keep control of its resources it would be richer than anywhere else in the world. |
Saddamochieng00:For 33 years since 1982 corruption was damaging Nigeria, but 2015 things have changed a bit financial audits, corruption charges, recollection of stolen moneys, transparency etc, has been shown all around Nigeria ever since 2015 although there are still some states struggling like benue, Taraba and Abia, other than those the states and Nigeria as a whole is moving forward generally but we are still suffering the consequences of corruption for all those years. But from 2023 till 2031, I will tell you nigeria will turn a new page trust me. |
zhike:They will be the Japan of Africa. They are more developed, the people have a higher standard of living, but Nigeria will produce more, have more businesses worldwide, will be more industrialized but it’s people will be poorer. |
Here’s the evidence for pineapples and mangoes, we are the largest producers in Africa, for bananas it was disputed we are in the top 5 in terms of production though either on top of Ghana or below ghana by one place depending on where you look.
|
mtisTheQubit:That’s true, but Nigeria has banned all chinese miners. And any Chinese person that has come into the airport for some reason, they now send someone to follow them around if they are going into rural areas, because they understand China and it’s ploys. But Nigeria can seize the advantage and start exporting things to Asian and middle eastern countries, Nigeria has started exporting yams to the foreign markets they were just approved now they are trying to export, banana, pineapple, mango and coconut because we are one of the worlds largest producers in these fields. |
samorobo:No it is a very good project and it is under way but he doesn’t understand that Nigerians will take control of the operations and use it to expand their businesses, Nigeria will be like China in Africa. |
samorobo:Exactly what I think, but I think bakassi seaport will fail, because it is going through cross river national park the highway, and the environment minister is against it and is trying to stop him from doing it, but I don’t know how it will turn out. All I know is ibom seaport will start next year so will Warri seaport, and by 2022 Bonny seaport will start along with Bonny-maiduguri rail line, opening up the island for more investments. So far the road from Bonny island-maiduguri is under construction and the same goes for the akwa ibom super highway. |
Saddamochieng00:Up to cameroon, interesting but Nigeria is already connected to cameroon, and soon it will be connected by railway are you sure it’s not not going to be the other way round. That lappset is an opportunity for Nigerian exporters to get into the East African cement, mining and agriculture business, and get a more direct route to countries like India, China, Japan, South Korea etc. as far as I’m concerned it is a project that helps the whole of Africa so I’m in support of it. |
rvp20182:They’re reopening Niger, Benin, Chad and cameroon have all agreed to the parameters put in place for importation and smuggling. Only specific produce is allowed to go across Nigeria’s borders, we have proper border checks now. By the end of covid our borders will reopen. |
frankyychiji:My guy I live in the UK, I don’t have money to spend to come to Nigeria because of covid, and I don’t know how to plan an expedition into a rainforest and I don’t know how to use coordinates so you see where I’m coming from. |
rvp20182:For the largest airport in Africa with 32 berths, building a four lane road is just stupid, if it as big as you are bragging about then you will need a 8-12 lane road, along with four lanes of railway to keep operations smooth |
Saddamochieng00:Lappset has nothing to do with west Africa, and Nigeria is already building a railway to Niger, cameroon and Benin, and three new deep seaports, Nigeria has started manufacturing aluminium, textiles and we are reviving paper and steel, when AFCTA starts I will tell you now only about five countries will benefit from it. Nigeria, Kenya, South Africa, Maybe South Africa and maybe Egypt. But Nigeria will just expand more into west and central Africa, Southern Africa is a problem, but Nigerian companies are already dominating west Africa, not only Nigerian companies but Nigerian CEOs as well. I know our cement, sugar, mining, agriculture, oil, gas and finance businesses will get to central and East Africa by minimum 2025 and maximum 2030 of AFCTA is done properly. African economies stand to gain 450 billion dollars. |
PROUDIGBO:That’s what I thought as well, but I chose to check with google earth and I found something, but i won’t be sure whether or not it’s real until someone goes there in real life. So I thought if I shared it than someone can go and explore it but rather these people are turning it into a tribalistic thread. |
I think I found the nsude pyramids please help share and forward it to anyone who can help to find them in real life. I used google earth to look for it and i think I found it.
|
mrvitalis:No one has known where they have been since the 30s the same goes for the Benin walls and sungbo eredo I think, a lot of Nigeria’s history is hiding deep in our forests and I think if this is shared it can go very far, in helping Nigerians and igbos to learn about our history more and where we all came from. For real |
Guys can we please put arguments aside I think I found something that could be very important for Nigeria. I think I have rediscovered the nsude pyramids, that were allegedly lost in the 30s. Zoom into the photo to see it well, it looks a lot like a stepped pyramid doesn’t it. If you know anyone that can help to find it in real life can you please forward it to them
|
Today I read about the history of igbos, and how they built pyramids for ala. but then I found that they appeared to have been lost in the 30s. So I used google earth to search for them. Because the article said they were in nsude so I used google earth and as I was going over a forest. I found a clearing in it where I saw something that looked similar to a stepped pyramid. Could it be true, I’m not sure but if it is. Please forward it and retweet so it can reach the rightful people. If there is more in the surrounding area this could be one of the greatest archaeological finds in not just nigerian but also igbo history. Imagine what other artifacts could be laying around it. So please help me. You’ll have to zoom in to be able to see it

Gamesmart:I have lived 8n America, South Africa and the U.K I know how a world class hospital looks, and that building is perfectly fine, in eng,and they even convert very old brick houses to hospitals, the outside archut3cture doesn’t decide where the walls, lights, beds, taps etc would be |
Gamesmart:Architecture doesn’t decide world class hospital it is the equipment used, standard of the doctors etc. not the building although it plays a factor as well stuff like ct scans, ventilators, pacemakers etc. |
Gamesmart:Can it not be equipped to be used in the future, as a 300 bed world class hospital. Ebonyi lacks world calls and proper healthcare so this helps with it, |
achierosion:That’s exactly what I think umahi would do wonders, but I’m still waiting for him to go on a mass tree plantation project or forest reclamation and tourism as well, once he does those I will be satisfied with his works in ebonyi. And he truly deserves to lead Nigeria |
calebonuja:You can find more information on this bread I don’t personally know anything about it’s location I just saw the post on twitter and brought it here https://www.nairaland.com/5832921/pictures-ebonyi-state-vocational-college |
Golan007:He isn’t lying the roads are 8 inches thick, it takes many years to wear concrete roads that thick down And he has built over 1000km of roads in 5 years, I am sure amosun didn’t do the any amount similar to that during his tenure. And he still has three years left to go, airport, two new hospitals, agro processing zones, salt factory, waste recycling plant, rice mills, investment into solid minerals what is he doing that doesn’t make him one of the best in Nigeria. |
