SUFFERInSMILIIN: That is much better this people are burning people's houses raping people and killing people because the price has gone up they want the suppliers to reduce the price what kind of nonsense is this I thought Nigerians were Blacks. This same illiterate will come on nairaland blaming and insulting other African countries
I don’t insult other countries, but I also don’t agree with any of your views on Nigeria. You should know that most Nigerian media’s are very biased, and love to report bad news when good things are happening all around Nigeria. |

WireWire22: Weather it will get 1000 or 100million people annually, the important thing is to build it to international standard. Unlike Enugu airport being called international airport, but it's not international standard the runway and runway free zone is 2.7Kms and 1 terminal(Domestic terminal) but thanks God FG is upgrading it. So Anambra Airport will meet world class and international standard that's why the airport will have, 3 Terminals(includes International and VIPs Terminal),International Cargo Area, Large Cargo sheds and Warehouse (For Cargoes) dual runways with 3.6kms and 400meters each end of the runways called the free zone making it 4.4Kms length which is able carry the largest cargo aircraft, and the Anambra Airport is designed that the terminal is with areas of 410,000 m2 in long term plan, which will meet operational requirements of 13,260 passengers in Rush hour, and the forecast passengers handling capacity of 40million.
(So when u calculates 13,260 passengers in Rush hour annually it will be about 116,157,600 passengers annually)
So Anambra Airport has the capacity of Over 100million passengers annually, and by God's grace it will happen.
That others states and Airports in Nigeria didn't made it dosen't means that anambra airport won't made it. It doesn’t matter if you design it to handle anything. What demand does Anambra have to attract 40 million people. For example Lagos is the commercial capital of Nigeria, and the financial capital, it also has good beaches and hotels. Anambra doesn’t have anything significant that can attract 40 million people every year, regardless of 100 million, unless you explain to me exactly how Anambra will attract that many passengers, I will be skeptical. Just tell me how Anambra will attract them no insults, no berating just tell me the facts and figures. |
Politics › Re: Update on developments in Anambra state-photos by Abohboy: 4:47pm On Jul 19, 2020 |
Somalianprunce, you actually believe Anambra airport will be the largest airport in the world, larger than anything in China. You believe that it will attract more than half of Nigeria’s population. Where will these people stay, which hotels, in that small state, which road is being built, railway, you would need so much infrastructure to even support that many people. Let me even leave you to believe it, when it is abandoned or of a very low standard and is bringing in 500 000 people per year, come and tell me the same shit, I will be laughing in your face. |

somalianprince: Who asked you all these rubbish you are busy yapping about? You are not even from Anambra, but you are more concerned with what's happening in Anambra more than what's happening in your own state. Yes, Anambra international airport shall attract even 100 million passengers, and what are you gonna do about it? I have headache but you are the one with panadol. WTF.
[s][/s] Your optimism is too high. Even heathrow in London doesn’t handle 100 million so how will Anambra there is a certain level of patriotism that ends up failing. What will bring 100 million people to Anambra, you do realize per day that airport will handle 273 972 people, heathrow needs a 12 lane highway, 4 lane railway, and hundreds of buses per day to ferry passengers out of heathrow. What business do 1000 million people have in Anambra. If this population was readily available than Asaba airport would have experienced similar numbers. That’s not how it works. Let me even wait for it to be completed, it will either be abandoned, or look completely different from the renders. |

SUFFERInSMILIIN: A country which borrows money to bring oil out of the ground Nigeria needs to sell it oll for 130 US dollar to make a profit.
Second picture A country which has been building a 200 kilometre Road since 1990 and cannot complete it Lagos ibadan Express Road
Those reps are just stupid, we have APC now those roads and the 2nd Niger bridge will be completed timely, Mark my words and by 2023, if and when AAC wins the election Nigeria will be taken to another level minimum wage and living wage every single Nigerian civil worker will earn 200 000N per month, and the average worker will have a minimum wage of 100 000, 250 000 jobs will be created from cattle ranching and over 15 billion dollars, will be made from the by products including manure, biogas, cattle meat and leather. Nigeria will become the largest producer of steel, over 5 million jobs will be created. All Nigerian will have a digital identity, Nigerians will have constant power supply, because we will be producing over 50 000MW, thousands of kilometers of road and rail will be built, over 10 million houses, provision of sewage and water to all houses as well. All this will happen in 4 years under AAC, so wait for 2023, I know exactly who I will vote for. |

hammer3: They are not buying Coach or train just making provision or space.
It is an airport city and Anambra is a cosmopolitan state.
Wen our gas and industry comes online and Onitsha remodelled.
Anambra could threaten Lagos Commercial Status, with and home grown industrial hub, commercial hub in Onitsha, Mechanical and Electronics hub at Nnewi.
Then all is surounded by aricultural hub via industrial farming and processing.
All that remains is a Tech hub, maybe at Nnewi too. , I think awka is the ministerial capital, onitsha commercial and financial, nnewi mechanical and electronical, then oba is the tech hub, because it is in the middle of nnewi and onitsha. |
Politics › Re: Update on developments in Anambra state-photos by Abohboy: 4:25pm On Jul 18, 2020 |
somalianprince: You are very correct because Anambra international airport is going to command high traffic in the neighbourhood of 30 to 50 million per annum. so much economic, social and entertainment activities takes place in Anambra all year road that attracts diasporan population as well.
Again, Anambra international airport shall be worldclass because the major contractors are not local ones. Craneburg a German firm is doing the runway, apron, etc. China railway company is doing the terminal building, tower. etc. Even the airport road is being done by another credible firm. Anambra is developing a truly first class aviation infrastructure that not only Anambra but Nigeria will be proud of. Good job. How will Anambra attract 30-50 million people per year there are only 10 million Nigerians maximum in the diaspora, and not all of the would come back to Anambra every year, added to that the local people living in Anambra, Abia and Kogi can not afford a flight. The full population of people that could ever afford a flight is 2 million at most it will be bringing 5 million people. And that is if you are very optimistic. You people need to be honest to yourselves. And I don’t want to be insulted for telling the truth |

Show me even a single bulding in that city before I take you serious. Your funny, alaro city already has more industrial projects in the pipeline than tatu city could ever dream of 500 houses are under construction and 8 different factories. Just wait for the September update.

Why does everything in Africa have to be modeled off of things in Europe, we can create something unique that is not seen anywhere, else look at this design for example, floating houses, floating schools, floating shops, floating malls and floating stadiums, a completely unique city, which would attract even more tourists than Venice. It doesn’t even need the skyscrapers in the background, but I personally prefer this design for makoko.

Justice4Rivers: It’s the Justice For Rivers (JFR) Projects.
While we are ashamed of our government on how they have been wasting our resources on irrelevant projects, take a few minutes of your time to look at what we plan for our people when we get to power.
As part of our agenda to create jobs in Rivers state, we plan to build an electronic factory for the production of electronic accessories for phones, computers and other electronic devices.
We choose to locate this electronic factory in Bori because of it’s closeness to the Onne sea port as we plan to export these electronic accessories to other West Africa countries.
While we will give I.T students from Rivers state and across Nigerian universities the opportunity to do their various programs here and get paid, this project will also create a lot of jobs for our graduates, boost the economy of Rivers state, the Naira currency and reduce stress from business men who spend money and time to import these electronic accessories from china and other foreign countries.
We desire to have our label “Made in Rivers” on “phone, computer and other electronic accessories that is in high demand in Nigeria and other parts of Africa.
Support: Justice for Rivers State Governorship agenda and let’s build the state together.
Photos: The proposed factory structure, with workers apartments.
Nairaland ID: Justice4Rivers FollowUs on Instagram click:: www.instagram.com/justiceforrivers Twitter: JusticeforRivers FaceBook: Justice For Rivers State You can’t just build an electronics factory, where will you get the chips, the steel, the aluminum meant for the project, who will fund it, where will you get the money to fund it, how much will it produce, which company will operate it. You need the private sector to do these projects the governments job is to provide a good and stable environment for projects like this to take off. By building roads, rails, water supply, electricity, free WiFi, tax levies, industrial parks etc. that’s the governments job. |
