My God, finally PPR has dropped, March Applicant.

Timeline:
Applied: March 9th
Biometrics: March 14th
Upfront Medicals: April 5th

June 14th: applied for GCMS Notes

........................... The long wait.
Sent mails to IRCC and MPs. All MPs said they couldn't help because I am not living in Canada.

Sent mails to IRCC requesting that my application be expedited, Nairobi office nor send my mail lol. Abuja sha replied and gave me a special link to raise a webform. I raised webforms tire, still no reply from IRCC.
Raised webforms, got generic responses.

September 1st: I requested for my school to send me a letter stating that I need to resume before September 18th, and that I am a funded research student. Letter arrived that same day.

September 19th: Admission was deferred to January start.

The wait was affecting me mentally. Had to take my mind off it to focus on my live.

September 28th: GCMS notes arrived. Says "Recommend Interview".

October 6th: Sent my new admission letter to IRCC stating that my admission has been deferred.

October 17th: woke up with a holy anger and send mails to IRCC requesting that my application be expedited because I think I have been unfairly treated by having to wait for 7months for a visa whereas others are getting theirs in 3 months.

TODAY OCTOBER 20TH: PPR & BVL Dropped.

Documents:
Admission letter
SOP
Funding letter.
My bank statement and that of my brother.
My payslip from my work place.
My employment letter.
My promotion letter at work.
My CV
My BSc certificate
My transcript
My NYSC certificate
Police Certificate
My mother's land survey doc
Picture of me, my brother and mum.
My brother's bank statement
My WAEC
My Age Declaration

My people, I am grateful to God. All the glory to Him.
Congratulations

How long was he approved for and how long is the program?

SOWP have high rejection rates so do not bank on it.

However, you almost definitely need a police certificate for it.
The program is one year Master's program,

Passport is yet to be returned from IRCC

Please, kindly enlighten me more on the medicals. Do I need to do my medicals before I get a response from them? Or do I need to wait until they ask me to go for my medicals? What is best to do about the medicals?

Kindly enlighten me.
Thanks.
Upfront medical is good if you have the fund. You can also do it during processing or once it is requested for by IRCC. It all depends on your finance.

Questions.

Husband application was approved this month but he deferred to September 2023, due to study permit delay.

Now we want to apply for SOWP and visit VISA for a kid so that the whole family can move together by Next year.

For SOWP do I really need police certificate clearance.

Since the husband is yet to resume study can this application be considered.

Thanks in Anticipation.

Please, can one apply for M.Sc Data Science at Memorial University Newfoundland, Canada without having IELTS?

Thanks.
I can't tell you Yes or No
Simply check the program requirements then look for countries that are exempted from English profiency if Nigeria in Included. Better still mail the graduate coordinator to confirm the requirement.

Stay bless

@Justwise and other guru's who have the experience to answer this question

I applied for a one year master's program in Canada at MUN. Now I have deferred my admission to next intake which is September 2023. Also I have sent a webform for the updated admission letter via webform.
If the VISA application is approved this month what is the implication to this since I will resuming next September.

I will appreciated if this is answered with well detailed explanation.

Regards.
Please I need explanation to the above question

TravelRe: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 22 by Aboki1859(m): 9:53am On Sep 20, 2022
I sent a web form to IRCC attaching my new admission letter. Since I deferred due to the study permit delay. The submission was successful and I have not received any confirmation since 2 weeks that the new attached document has been linked to my profile. Do I need to send another webform or I should just wait.

TravelRe: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 22 by Aboki1859(m): 8:42am On Sep 01, 2022
See what IRCC Nairobi reply. Not a single details about my application status which have exceeded the processing time

Good Day,

Thank you for your correspondence.

IRCC has seen an unprecedented volume of applications received for both initial study permits and extensions in 2022, not just from citizens of one country or region but on a global scale. We are making every effort to reduce wait times in our services globally.

We also highly encourage clients to check IRCC’s Processing Times to let them know how long it took us to process most complete applications in the past. It starts the day we receive your complete application and ends when we make a decision. It may vary depending on the number of applications we receive and how complex they are to process. It is important to understand that processing times are estimates and may vary.

We know that some applicants have experienced significant wait times with the processing of their applications, and we understand your frustration. We are working hard to process applications on time and reduce processing times. We thank you for your patience and understanding at this time.

Putting people first is at the core of how IRCC serves clients. We are committed to delivering seamless, quality services that works for everyone.

I have sent out mails to all the MPs in Newfound land with my application details needed. However, some are requesting for my residential address in Newfoundland. One MP sent me a form attached to include this information and sign a authorization form. My question is since I'm not yet in Canada, can I use my Nigeria residential address and postal code. Note that there is emphasis on residential address and postal code . See below

Your Legal Name – including any middle names

Date of Birth:

Country of Birth:

Full residential address - including postal code

UCI Number (if applicable):

There is no section requesting for police clanrance. However, You will attach it with your supporting documents. It will be used in checking your background.

Qyt1:
Guys is it advisable to go for police clearance or not. I completed application form but on the document upload section their is no section requesting for police clearance, it went straight to payment for biometrics and visa. Is it that they will ask for it later I want to be sure before dashing those police free money. I use the IRCC new portal
TravelRe: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 22 by Aboki1859(m): 7:54am On Aug 06, 2022
But I read that processing time is 12 weeks and that you can only contact them after 12 weeks. Guys that have send mails during processing time did they get response

Isyma:
Congratulations to all PPR receivers.
Everyone here will get their's.
One thing that is confirmed about IRCC is that they don't have any any particular time plan for processing visa, so no one should feel bothered about delay or whatever. Start sending mails and webforms if its delaying too much.
July applicants where are you guys, it's getting to us already.
