Debbys:What has the church done to him? Apart from proving the minority status of xtians? |
LeoDeKing:Exactly. We the northerners are waiting to see if he'll also compensate and empower "the northern igbos" who rejected him like a plague! |
A lot of water has passed under the bridge since the last presidential and National Assembly elections of February 25th. However, iam just curious that the voice of one of those outspoken politicians, Samuel Ortom of G-5 seems to be conspicuously missing in action. Is Ortom fine? I hope he has not been affected by the menace of "fulani herdsmen " that he spent his entire tenure battling? God of wonders! Such is life. So Ortom can be this silent like a dodo? |
Coward, he's even scared to call a spade by proper name. Everyone knows the US hegemonic drive is what's the real cause of the war. The US is using naive Ukrainians to fight Russia |
Muslims in Nasarawa and other states are watching the crusaders! We'll unite and reply this shege with shege plus. Two can play that religion card henceforth. Shege ka fasa!!! |
Psalmistproject:Why is it that you people can't engage with opposing viewpoints without resorting to insults? This is why you don't make good politicians and your likes won't get required broad-based support to win the presidency. Small thing you'll insult!. You lack manners and, with all due respect, I don't thinK you are from a respectable family. If you are, then you are either under alcoholic influence or sth I am not sure about |
Psalmistproject:What evidence do you have to put forward b4 a court of competent jurisdiction that "bribery got the better part of them"? You should not be talking like a blabbermouth without any piece of evidence. |
Psalmistproject:Why insult a whole people just for exercising their right not to vote your candidate-- the chap who talks like a transistor radio whose battery is almost dead. |
MrSensor:Angels. It's ghosts that fly into South to set petty garry thieves ablaze? It's ghosts that fly into the south to kill cultists? It's ghosts that masquerade as "unknown gunmen" to kill innocent civians? It's ghosts that fly in to south to harvest human heads for rituals? I can how love leads in the land of the Christian south where no fly has ever been hurt, much less killed, since the creation of Nigeria. Una Well done!! |
Good, while US's infrastructure decays as the Yankees engage on spreading wickedness and killings all over the world in the vain hope of maintaining US hegemony that's gone for good. |
Correct it to: Picture of Nigerians of Igbo extraction watching Peter Obi.... This should be the proper title! |
Alhamdulillah. |
Tissaia:The xtians have taught us Northerners some valuable lessons. They've show us how to vote in future elections. Let's see who have the numbers in 2027! Shege ka fasa! |
mikelopez:So the population in the yeast is 220m? In your insurrection, count us in the NW, NE, NC and SW out. We in these zones have cast our votes and are happy with the outcomes. |
FlawlessKarl:Do you want us to vote your candidate who is out to Christianize Nigeria while you will not vote for ours? What votes did Atiku get from the yeast? We fear |
LocalStandard1:Lol, arnen banza mai kashi ba tsarki! |
Jungle is beginning to mature for many people. |
Governor Seyi Makinde of Oyo has urged voters in Oyo State to “vote for PDP from top to bottom” in the upcoming polls. Mr Makinde gave the advice in a newsletter shared on Thursday, ahead of the presidential and National Assembly elections billed for February 25. Mr Makinde’s call deviates from his previous stance not to support the election of Peoples Democratic Party’s presidential candidate Atiku Abubakar. The governor, alongside four other governors in the PDP (popularly known as the G-5) has for months railed against Mr Abubakar and the party leadership over differences in the composition of the party’s presidential ticket and the headship of the PDP, which are being held by to the northerners. Mr Makinde, who is also seeking a second term in office, has now apparently backtracked after he initially refused to support Mr Abubakar following his emergence as a candidate from the northern region at the party’s primary held in May. In the newsletter obtained by Peoples Gazette on Thursday, the Oyo governor asked his supporters to encourage undecided voters to strictly choose his party, the PDP at the ballot. “So, if you still have any undecided voters on your list, this is the time to call them up and help them decide to vote for the PDP from top to bottom in Oyo state. “By next time I write you, we will, barring any electoral reruns, have a new President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Vote wisely, this Saturday, so we do not have a repeat of the pains and suffering we have experience in the last eight years,” the newsletter read in part. Mr Makinde has been battling to regain the support of some Oyo electorates, especially party faithful who had been against his initial refusal to support the PDP presidential candidate. The Oyo governor, alongside Nyesom Wike of Rivers state, Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi of Enugu, Samuel Ortom of Benue, and Okezie Ikpeazu of Abia state had been demanding the resignation of the PDP’s national chairman, Iyorchia Ayu, as a pre-condition to support Mr Abubakar’s presidential ambition. On September 20, 2022, the aggrieved governors who later named themselves the ‘Integrity group’ met in Port Harcourt, Rivers capital, and announced their withdrawal from the presidential campaign council of Mr Abubakar. Nicknamed ‘G5’, the governors were absent from the inauguration of Mr Abubakar’s campaign council on September 28. The governors had argued that a northerner cannot be the PDP’s presidential flag bearer and the national chairman also hails from the same region. They claimed that Mr Ayu had even before the primary promised to resign should a northerner from his region emerge as the presidential candidate of the PDP. Shameless hypocrites! The very same US and leaders who, to this day, refuse to call the ouster of a democratically elected president of Egypt (Morsi) a coup! |
Urchinpainer:God bless you. Please may I know the reasons why you described me as "mentally unstable "? Plus, what is it that I said that got you this angry? My opinion? |
Hopium:Exactly! |
Peter Obi's supporters are cock-a-hoop about what they see as the highest chance of their hero winning Nigeria's presidency next Saturday. Are their optimism and excitement factually/statistically justified? Let's do the arithmetic. PO's strongholds are the SE and the SS, two zones with the least number of votes!. Granted that PO can scavenge some votes in the SW, but it's crystal clear that Tinubu will carry the day in SW eventually. In the north, the Obidients rely on pockets of votes from northern xtians. But are these enough? Not at all. Since 1999, the northern xtians have never voted along the same line as the Muslim core North. For example they have never voted for Buhari. Yet, in 2014 and 2019 Buhari was able to win signifying the political insignificance of this voting bloc to a candidate that can garner votes in the core north and other parts (Tinubu?). Similarly, PMB was able to win elections without the votes of the SE and SS in both 2014 and 2019, which also trivializes the importance of these two Obi's main strongholds in determining the ultimate presidential winner. So, for Obi to win the presidential election, he would, as a matter of necessity, need votes from Muslim voters in the north. But does he look set to get it? The truthful but bitter answer for Obidients to accept is No with a capital N. Problem is, the Obidients want to market Obi in the day as a pan-Nigerian candidate but brandish the news of Obi's endorsement by popular pastors/Churches whose altars Obi has turned to campaign platforms. This, rightly so, confuses the average northern Muslim voter and makes them pause to ask some legitimate questions[ Imagine Buhari going to the mosques to campaigns in 2014 or even 2019, what with the reaction be like from voters in say the SE?) Not even the votes in Plateau and Benue, two states Obidients have also placed high, convoluted hope on can do anything to offset the bloc northern muslim votes. Here, the Obidients will conveniently bring up the issue of Kwankwaso who, as they argue passionately, will magically divide these votes for them to conquer and win the race. In making this highfalutin assumptions, the Obidients forget two crucial facts: 1) the muslim northern voters are never known, throughout Nigeria's political history, to cultivate the habit of wasting their votes. The average northern voter might not have gone to school but they're the most sophisticated; 2) Despite pulling some intimidating crowds in a couple of states esp in the nroth, the truth is Kano is Kwankwaso's main sphere of influence. Even there, I can't bet a penny that he'll win a simple majority for reasons adumbrated above. Now, my only concern is what the reaction of the Obidients will be when the bubble of their alternative reality finally bursts. I hope they'll peacefully pick up the pieces, lick their wounds, move on and say "better luck next time". Personally, I do not see any credible candidate worthy of my votes among the current pack of wolfs, but I know for sure that this 2023 election is a contest between Tinubu and Atiku. Yet, while I know this for a fact, I also have to admit that the outcome of this contest is highly unpredictable. Tinubu has 22 APC governors behind his back, huge war chest, media control and so on. Atiku has the support of some powerful members of PMB's kitchen cabinet, considerable war chest, and some current public angst to latch onto. If you press me hard to rate the chances of the major contenders, I'll come up with something like these: 1. Tinubu 35% 2. Atiku 34 3. Obi 20% 4. Kwankwaso 9% May God choose the best candidate for us. |
America will fight Russia to the last drop of the blood of the last Ukrainian. But they'll fail because God knows they could have saved innocent Ukrainian lives if not for their inordinate desire to seek to perpetuate the satanic unipolar secular-Liberal order that they represent. Unfortunately for the Yankees, the days of a unipolar US hegemony is gone for good. They've looked up the stable door after the Chinese stallion has bolted! They've locked up the stable door after the BRICS stallions have bolted! No one respects America any longer because they represent evil and satanism when God granted them the hegemony of the world up to the beginning of the 21st century. With the defeat of the US by barefooted Talibans and its recent imminent defeat in Ukraine, the American military invincibility is demystified. The spread of satanic lgbtabc ideology was the second to the last straw that broke the American global hegemony. The Taliban victory marked the end of the US hegemony as observed by experienced historians. Russian's defeat of the US in Ukraine will put the lie to all US pretentions to global hegemony. God doesn't like immorality and arrogance. Pride they say comes b4 a fall. Interestingly, in the last days of the US empire, Russia is Pontius Pilate, and EU is the Joseph of Arimathea. RIP the lgbtqrstu American Empire! |
checkmatez:Did the Afghans and Iraqis and Libyans want the US in their homes, you the fvcking US slave?!! Why did the US bombed its way to these countries? |
[quote author=07kjb post=121068830]Someone running under Muslim-muslim ticket, maybe you think say NIGERIANS are fool The core NORTHERN Muslims have rejected TINUBU some will vote ATIKU some will vote OBIDATTI AT THE END OBI WINS[/quote Wallahi tallahi Obi will not win this election! Stop these hallucinations ! |
alsudan:This is why I will vote for Tinubu. He is a candidate of the Middle path. He neither tilts to extremist Christian like you nor to the extremist Muslims out there. |
I am neither PDP nor Apc but this is a flagrant violation of the sovereignty of Nigeria by the US. Who appointed the US to be the Chief Custodian of Global Justice? Does the US think the world is oblivious of their violation of human rights and perverting the course of justice? What with the illegal invasion of Iraq under the false pretext of Saddam having weapons of mass destruction? Have the war crimals called Bush and Blair faced any justice for the war crimes in iraq that killed or mained millions of civilians? Who sanctions the US for holding people indefinitely without trial in Guantanamo Bay? Who sanctions the US and NATO for bombing Libya and killing their president? Who sanctions the US for invading Afghanistan ? Who sanctions the US for supporting Israel to kill innocent Palestinians? The list is endless! Yet the US has the temerity, audacity, effrontery and superciliousness to talk about morality and justice and human rights?!! To he'll with the US and the terrorism and immorality that it spreads across the globe by force. Thank God the US empire is having its last kicks before it gives up the ghost for the good for the world. There's no doubt that the world will be a better place without the Satan called the USA. ppling of the de |
In calling for the arrest of Nasir, Reno conveniently igbore Buhari's flagrant violation of the apex court ruling. How convenient! |
rolams:True, wike is like the fat loquacious market woman who doesn't know how to fight, when to fight and where to fight. He's not a politician at all. Though he can make the best thug leader. |
