It was reported to us that a father beat up his child to death on 21st August, 2019.



The family who lives in Akure, Ondo State beat their child who is less than 10-years old girl to death yesterday.




Twitter user @YemieFASH who shared the shocking story online, said a woman took the girl’s corpse to the state hospital in Akure but fled with the corpse after the girl was certified dead.

The Vice-chairman of the All Progressive Congress In ward Five, Edward Okechukwu was reportedly shot dead by Gunmen in Oyingbo Local Government Area of Rivers State.



Edward was shot alongside four other young men in the early hours of Monday.

Ayeni Adeyemi David, a consultant physician in Lagos has lost his dear life after trying to save his neighbor’s life over the weekend.





Based on reports, the deceased was home before he heard the cry of his neighbor for help.



He quickly rushed out if he could render some help but unfortunately for him, he was also electrocuted in the process.

Liverpool cliam the UEFA Super Cup in penalty shootout.

It was quite an interesting encounter today in the UEFA Super Cup between Liverpool and Chelsea.

Chelsea Manager Frank Lampard made some changes in his starting lineup with Mount, Abraham and Ross Barkley all starting from the bench.

Olivier Giroud scored the first goal of the game with a nice tap in after an excellent pass from Pulisic.

Sadio Mane pulled one back before the hour mark to make it a 1:1 at full time.

Sadio Mane scored his second of the day in the first period of the extra time of which Jorginho equalized after Chelsea was awarded a penalty 6 minutes later.

End of extra time score 2:2.

Liverpool emerged the winner in the penalty shootout after substitute Tammy Abraham lost the last penalty.

Tavershima Dega, a man who lives in Zaki-Biam town of Ukum Local Government Area has reportedly been shot dead by unknown gunmen.




Tavershima Dega was killed last Thursday barely some days after killing of the Chairman of Zaki-Biam Yam market, Tavershima Achinge at his residential house.

Witnesses of the incidence disclosed that Tavershima Dega was shot dead around 8:00pm on Thursday evening when he went to the pharmacy to get some drugs for his ill wife.




Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO) for the state command, DSP Catherine Anene, said she could not immediately confirm the killing of Dega because she was yet to receive any briefing on the matter.

The Nigeria Football Federation as today marked the death of a hero Samuel Okwaraji who died during s Football match at the National Stadium, Surulere during a match.





The NFF shared a video in memory of the late football player where the NFF president, Amaju Pinnick was quoted as saying;





“We still feel and respect the labours of our heroes past, and we want to say today, being the 30th year that Late Okwaraji passed on while playing, we still feel the sacrifice and patriotism that he showed, playing for this great country.

And we have learnt great lessons from that patriot, even as we continue to use his attitude to guide young talents.”

The everyday situations of life as made people to have different taughts about each other, people use past experiences with others to judge their present and future with them. An adage says“once bitten twice shy”. And these as made our society to fall in deep pit.


Vengeance can simply be described as taking revenge or retaliating on someone or somebody on a past incident or actions.


These are punishments inflicted in return for an injury or an offence, often in a bad sense, passionate or unrestrained revenge.


Yes, it is through that the initial punishment on you is very painful and really hurts you but it will be of benefit to you if you can forget past incidents and look forward to good memories.


Human beings are of different characters and thoughts, and so differences are bound to be seen in our behaviours.


Never take laws into your hands and always work on how to make peace reign, taking it to spiritual aspects, Romans 12:19 says”vengeance is mine, I will repay saith the Lord.


There is always a strong believe that what goes around comes around, whether good or bad. What ever a man sow, he shall reap.


Nemesis exist and karma also is in existence, what goes around comes around too. Learn not to pay back evils for evils. Forgive and always forget.


Put on a maturity gown and learn how to accommodate people with their differences.” Maturity is when you are able to overlook peoples behaviour and their differences.


Vengeance in so many times leads the third party into serious problem as they put all their efforts in other to retaliates on a particular incident that as been done to them in the past.


Most marriages crashed simply because the husband is cheating and the wife looks for a way to retaliates and also embarks on sleeping with men in hotels just to take vengeance of the action of his husband and at the end of the day, if she is later caught in the act, the marriage is dissolved automatically.


It is true that we wrong ourselves,but let us learn to embrace each other.

The Presidency in a statement released yesterday has said that President Muhammadu Buhari remains the best hope in strengthen the Nigerian Economy.


The Senior Special Assistant to the President on Media and Publicity, Garba Shehu, said this in a statement he released yesterday August 7th while reacting to PDP’s claim that the Nigerian Economy is in shambles.

In his statement, Shehu said the Nigerian economy needs a change and President Buhari remains the person with the will and determination to deliver the much desired change.


The presidential spokesperson went on to discuss the success that has been achieved since president Mohammadu Buhari took over the reins of power in 2015.


According to Shehu, the economy grew by 2.35 per cent in second quarter of 2015 and 3.96 per cent in first quarter of 2015 as compared to 5.94 per cent in fourth quarter of 2014.


”While foreign direct investment can help, it is not the only source of investment in the economy.

There is also domestic investment which is either undertaken by the government or by the private sector.

The Okada rider was reportedly shot dead by the soldier over his refusal to give N100 bribe at a check point in the community.

“As worst as Anything”- Nigerian Man cries out over poor state of National Library in Abuja (PHOTOS).

A Nigerian man who was invited to the National Library by his friend was highly dissappointed when he got there and was confused because of the poor state of the library.


The Man in his post said h thinks Central Area Abuja is arguably the most expensive district in Abuja but unfortunately the National Library headquarters is arguably the worst building in the Area.


Ozii Baba Anieto also said the building looked like the Onitsha Police Barracks of the 80s as its frontage is occupied by food vendors cooking right inside the building.


He wrote;
When the taxi stopped me in front of the structure, I refused to pay him. This could not be my destination. I plainly told him I was going to the National Headquarters.


The taxi driver was not in the mood to fight back, he could tell that I was defeated by the sight that saluted me.

The Police Department of the Anambra State Command as today confirmed the arrest of five Armed Robbers of which a vehicle was recovered from them.




The operation was carried out in the early hours of Monday, 5th August 2019 around 3:30am said the Spokesperson of the of the command SP Haruna Mohammed.

Ikorodu residents squared up to some operatives of the Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS) over an alleged illegal arrest in the neighborhood.


The SARS officers were reportedly in the Lagos community to arrest a young man they accused of being a yahoo boy (internet fraudster).

They were however stopped and quickly drove out after residents of the area trooped out shouting ‘ole’ (thief).

According to reports, another two Storey Building has collapsed in Gbagada, Lagos State.


The building, located on 24 Adio Street, near New Garage Bus stop, Gbagada, was said to have partially collapsed in the early hours of today, August 1st.


Men of the Lagos State Emergency Management Authority LASEMA are currently on ground and are rescuing those trapped in the rubbles.

Rev. Israel Akanji, the North-Central Chairman of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) has stated that God will restore Pastor Biodun Fatoyinbo even if he is found guilty of the rape allegation against him by Busola Dakolo.


The CAN Chairman backed his claim of the Senior Pastor of Commonwealth of Zion Assembly (COZA) being restored by God with the Biblical account of the condemned thief pardoned by Jesus Christ at the Cross of Calvary.
