Warning Against Nigerian Health Minister,

--Attorney Patryk Utulu
The W.H.O. and American FDA Have Issued Joint
Statement That:
(1) Nigerian Doctor rumoured to be cured of
Ebola was NOT cured of Ebola because the doctor
NEVER had Ebola. (Initial test result was a
“FALSE POSITIVE” which occurs in 1 out of every
150 tests).
(2) U.S. FDA warned U.S. firms for targeting
African nations and falsely marketing “dietary

(3) W.H.O./FDA issued “Confidential NOTICE” to
Nigerian Health Minister, Oyebuchi Chukwu, for
endorsing an unproven U.S. nutritional

rumours of an Ebola cure." (WHO threatened to
block Health Minister’s accreditation if he spread
false rumours again)
(4) W.H.O. affirmed its ruling this week that the
experimental drug, ZMapp, can be used on Ebola
victims where available. WHO stated
categorically that ZMapp is NOT a cure for Ebola
and that EBOLA HAS NO CURE.
WHO’s “Confidential Notice” condemned Mr.
Chukwu as “irresponsible” for saying that
unidentified Nigerian scientist living overseas
had arranged for Nigeria to get experimental
medicine. Chukwu identified it as "NanoSilver,” a
supplement offered U.S. firm, Natural Solutions
Foundation, NSF.
FURTHER, THE WORLD HEALTH ORGANIZATION
SAID THAT:
(1): NanoSilver is NOT accredited by FDA. It's
products are "dietary supplements, NOT DRUGS"
and has NOT been tested by FDA
(2): NanoSilver is for sale on a website along with
India Hemp (marijuana) oil, ear candles, and

(3): Natural Solutions Foundation is NOT an
accredited science laboratory
(4): On July 20, 2014, NSF’s medical director, Dr.
Rima E. Laibow, posted an Open Letter to
Presidents of Guinea, Liberia, Sierra Leone,
Nigeria and Ghana claiming that NanoSilver
cured Ebola. Dr. Libow claimed to have addressed
47 African health ministers at a 2007 conference
and to be in touch with West African
governments and their advisers. W.H.O. said
THESE CLAIMS ARE FALSE. Dr. Laibow HAS
NEVER BEEN TO AFRICA.
(5): The New York Times repeatedly has tried to
contact Dr. Laibow who claimed that her drug
cured Nigerian doctor but Dr. Laibow is nowhere
to be seen. Agents of the U.S. FDA are hunting for

(6): Assistant Director of W.H.O., Dr. Marie-Paule
Kieny, said fraudsters are targeting African

(7): FDA’s Dr. Caplan said the same people who
marketed fake HIV cure-drugs to Africans for 30
years are now marketing fake Ebola cure to
Africans “BECAUSE OF THE STUPIDITY OF
AFRICAN RELIGIOUS GROUPS WHO ARE TEMPTED

Politics › Confab Wants Non-graduates Barred From Contesting For President by abu12(op): 7:08am On Aug 18, 2014
http://www.punchng.com/news/confab-wants-non-graduates-barred-from-contesting-for-president/

If the proposed amendments to the 1999 Constitution by the national conference sails through, the presidential ambitions of some notable Nigerians may come to an abrupt end.
Investigations by our correspondent in Abuja showed that the proposal that whoever wants to be the President should have a university degree may become an albatross for such politicians.

Among the politicians that may be barred are a former Head of State, Maj.Gen. Muhammadu Buhari(retd.); a former Vice President, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar and the Jigawa State Governor, Alhaji Sule Lamido.
Section 131 of the present constitution spells out qualifications concerning anyone who is aspiring to be a President.
It says, “A person shall be qualified for election to the office as the President if (a) he is a citizen of Nigeria by birth; (b) he has attained the age of 40 ; (c) he is a member of a political party and is sponsored by a political party; and (d) he has been educated up to at least school c ertificate level or its equivalent.”

Although the proposed amendments did not alter the section significantly, it adds that anyone who aspires to be a President must have paid his tax as and when due and must be a university graduate.
The proposed amendments in the Section 131 of the Principal Act is altered by:
(A) inserting a new subsection (c) as follows:
“(C) he has paid his tax as and when due” and “(d) he is registered to vote”
(b) deleting the word “and” in paragraph (d) with the following and renumbering same as paragraph (e)-

“(e) he has been educated up to at least the university first degree or its equivalent”.
If the amendments are carried out, a clean copy of this Section of the constitution will now read, “A person shall be qualified for election to the office of the President if :
(a) he is a citizen of Nigeria by birth, (b)he has attained the age of 40 , (c) he has paid his tax as and when due(d) he has registered to vote and (e) he has been educated up to at least the university first degree level or its equivalent.”

Meanwhile, delegates to the conference have expressed divergent views on whether this aspect of the amendment should be implemented or not.

A delegate from the northern part of the country, said the provision was aimed at stopping some notable presidential aspirants from the zone.

The delegate, who spoke on condition of anonymity, vowed that the zone would mobilise and “stop the offensive aspect of the amendment at the National Assembly.”

“We are waiting for them. Let them put whatever they want to put and see whether that will pass through the National Assembly,” he added.
But another delegate, Prof. Isaac Albert, said there was nothing wrong with the provision, adding that it would be wrong to assume that the section was amended to punish the North.
He said, “No, it is wrong to assume that we are targeting northern politicians. In fact, there are many professors in the N orth.

“What we did was an attempt to improve academic standing of those who want to lead this country. We indeed have enough graduates in the region.”
Another delegate, Chief Paul Enebeli, who is the President General of Ndokwa Nation and member representing the South-South, said Nigerians would be deceiving themselves to think that the people from the northern part of country were not educated.

He said most of the people who attended best schools outside the country were from the Norh.
Enebeli, who defended the provision, said, “Having a degree means you will have experience to govern and lead.
“Look at the quality of the delegates from the north who attended the conference. Majority of them are degree holders. We even had professors among them.”

But a delegate from the North, Dr. Junaid Mohammed, disagreed, saying that though it was good to be well educated, having degrees might not necessarily mean you could lead better.
He said that some Nigeria’s past leaders whom he scored high were not university graduates.
Mohammed said, “We have had those who didn’t go to the university and have done well as our leaders.
“And we have had and still have those who went to the university and are leading us as if they never went to any school.
“At the level of the Presidency, what you do is mere management and consultation, which having degree may not be necessary .”

What is the big deal on a naval base? Ask anybody in onitsha whether he knw the job of naval officers in onitsha there. http://www.punchng.com/news/chibok-girls-fashola-faults-parents-invitation-by-jonathan/

Lagos State Governor, Mr. Babatunde Fashola, SAN, on Thursday faulted President Goodluck Jonathan, for inviting parents of abducted Chibok schoolgirls to the Presidential Villa for the purpose of sympathising with them.

He described the development as lack of empathy, saying Jonathan’s leadership style “has re-defined empathy by inviting the bereaved parents to the presidential villa for commiseration.

”Fashola stated this in Abuja while delivering a lecture on ‘The challenge of Democratic Governance’ as part of activities to mark the 50th birthday celebration of a former Governor of Bayelsa State, Chief Timipre Sylva. He insisted that Jonathan’s attitude was

“Truly strange and Truly unAfrican”He asked,

“How does this sound? ‘

Hello neighbour, I heard you lost your child to abductors. Please come and see me at home so I can sympathise with you’.

“This is my paraphrasing of what has so far transpired. As if this was not bad enough, the event had been followed by another round of lies about whether or not they tried to give money to the bereaved parents. For me, it’s a low point for leadership, it suggests lack of empathy.

”According to him,
“The first lie when the news of the abduction broke was that all the abducted girls had been retrieved.

When that was exposed, the next lie was to raise doubts whether they were truly missing.

“When that was not enough, they are now telling us that they know where the children are. We are prayerfully waiting that they will bring the children home.”

Fashola, who had earlier canvassed for the active involvement of the elite in politics in order to provide necessary professional skill to drive the nation’s development, said,

“Until recently, we all used to think that our national development was inhibited by the fact that we never had a university graduate as leader of any national government in an executive capacity.

“This perhaps alludes only faintly to the issue of the elite consensus, but it is not the same.

Thankfully, the myth of graduate leadership as desirable as it is, has been exploded now.“We have two graduates (one zoologist and an architect) and I think the majority of Nigerians will tell you today that their lives are worse off than they were four years ago.

“So there is more to leadership than a university degree and educational qualification.

There is character, vision, courage, empathy, compassion and many more attributes that you simply will not find in a classroom or school.

They are in homes, in communities and also in the value system of society.”Fashola therefore encouraged politicians to make politics interesting and worth being participated in by the professional elite. He said,

“Distinguished ladies and gentlemen, it is still regrettable that the majority of the members of our political parties and politicians do not yet include the critical elite of our society.

“Whether we like it or not, history has shown that the elite of any society, especially its professional cadre, and the very best of them decide the direction of the nation when they come to a consensus about the pathway for their nation, even if they belong to different political parties.

Where are all the people who have built things with their hands in our society?

Where are the founders of the big banks, businesses, telecoms in our body politic?

Are they just content to finance and yet remain unwilling to take the plunge?

“Are they willing to identify with the ruling party in Abuja, and the party in Government in their states when they get to their bases for fear of reprisals?” he asked.

The Osun State chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party has rejected the election result declaring Governor Rauf Aregbesola as the winner of the governorship poll.

The PDP agent in the election and State Publicity Secretary, Mr. Bola Ajao, distanced the party from the result after the announcement of the outcome of the poll by the Returning Officer, Prof. bamitale Omole,on Sunday morning, in Osogbo.
Ajao refused to sign the election results form given to agents at the INEC office.

The party spokesman faulted the process of the election, saying some of the figures published were unacceptable.

He said the party had earlier written a petition to INEC, complaining about the election process in some units.

He said, “I cannot sign. We cannot accept the outcome of the election. My principal,
Iyiola Omisore, knows the next line of action. We will decide what to do. We have earlier written a petition to INEC to establish our complaints.”
