What does it matter what the word treacherous means when the Almighty has denied refused to indicate divorce ss sin? You seem to rhink man's standard as far as morality is concerned is what is God's own standard. It doesn't work that way I am afraid. God's sets the rule as far as what is sin and what is not, and so when God does not list divorce as sin it means divorce is not sin - no room allowed for debate. Either you live by God's standard and Law or you reject Him for the world's way instead.

Yes, divorce is devastating but is it not sin meaning it is evil and sin against God to go around claiming divorce is sinful.

God pretty much washed His hands off marriage matters in Genesis 3 vs 16. Jesus Christ reminded men of this in Luke 20 vs 34 - 36. for those of His who will enter into it, He made a way out which is divorce which He hates since it is against His original plan for marriage but since man refused His original plan, and He cursed marriage as a result- made it of this world sad not ot His Hoiness.... not much to be done there.

God hates divorce but since He cursed marriage in the beginning as a result of man rejecting His original plan even for marriage, divorce is the reality we are all to deal with.

And since God didn't list divorce as sin of adultery, we are not to treat it as such..

Aren't we attempting here to change that which was declared of God now. Malachi wrote that God hates divorce with is True. So why change it to suggest He only hates what you refer to as unjustified divorce?
