December 25, 2015, Accra — At the 2015 edition of Citi FM’s Decemba 2 Rememba concert held Thursday, December 24, 2015, an unimaginable and despicable act took place on stage during a live performance by Wisa of the ‘Ekiki me’ fame much to the chagrin of patrons of the heavily-attended annual show. In a shocking moment of temporary insanity, Wisa pulled out his manhood in an extremely offensive stage act that outraged the full-to-capacity crowd at the Accra International Conference Centre, venue for the concert. Although one of the MCs for the night, Osei Kwame, took pains to immediately condemn Wisa’s egregious conduct, the management of the station finds it extremely important to — in this statement — emphasize our condemnation of the artiste’s behaviour, which, by all accounts, is profoundly incompatible with the Citi FM brand. By this statement, the management of Omni Media Limited, owners of Citi 97.3 FM, is condemning in the strongest terms possible, the artiste’s reprehensible conduct, the videos of which have since been widely circulated on social media. For the avoidance of doubt, Citi FM is a law abiding radio brand and does not in any way endorse morally offensive and illegal acts that seek to bring the station’s name and the Decemba 2 Rememba franchise into disrepute. Our lawyers have advised us that Wisa’s conduct potentially violated the nation’s criminal code and we believe same to be true. We therefore, urge the Police administration to investigate Wisa’s conduct and to take every lawful step necessary to bring him to justice. Our sincere apologies to all Decemba 2 Rememba patrons and all showbiz lovers who have seen the shocking videos of Wisa’s misconduct. And to all Ghanaians, we are sorry. By this statement, we wish to state that we will take elaborate steps to ensure that offensive and unlawful stage conducts of the kind exhibited by Wisa on Thursday do not happen during future editions of the annual concert. We wish all Citi 97.3 FM loyalists and Decemba 2 Rememba patrons a Merry Christmas and a prosperous New Year. Signed Jessica Opare – Saforo Programmes Manager |
Wisa Greid Apologizes For Showing Pen*s on Stage I fully understand the outrage that will greet this statement. And I want to begin by saying I am really, truly sorry. In the early hours of Friday, December 25, I performed at the December 2 Remember Concert, organized by Citi FM. It was really my first big career live stage performance and the crowd had been amazing in the way they received me. Then, I did something disappointing. I showed my genitals while performing. I cannot explain this rash and irresponsible behaviour, but I have been trained to acknowledge my fault and be responsible for my actions. That is why I want to accept every bit of criticism that has come my way in the ensuing hours. I have disappointed myself, my family, my hard-working management team, Citi FM and the audience, who paid hard-earned money to be entertained but instead went away feeling anything but entertained. Most importantly, I disappointed my God. I am exceedingly sorry for what I have done. I acknowledge the statement issued earlier from the Office of Hiplife and Hiphop at the Musician Union of Ghana and will avail myself to all planned disciplinary actions in the coming week. There are no words to describe how I feel about what I did. I hope the public as a whole and all industry stakeholders will find a place in their hearts to forgive me. Thank you very much. |
The guy was high on stuff. He has come out to unreservedly apologize. That might be the end of his career as show organisers will ignore him. |
Wale 112 when will u stop senseless topics involving Ghana. |

Who are the financiers of this group causing havoc? And how are they able to purchase arms and bring them to Nigeria unnoticed. |

Hero police dog blown up by suicide bomber during terrorists' last stand: French police honour Diesel the Belgian Shepherd who 'died to defend our colours' Anti-terror dog died during a massive firefight with suspected Paris jihadis Witness said she was blown to pieces when woman detonated suicide vest An anti-terror police dog has died after being blown up by a suicide bomber during a firefight with suspected ISIS militants behind the Paris massacre. The seven-year-old Belgian Shepherd named Diesel was killed this morning during a police raid on a flat in the French capital where the terrorists were believed to have been holed up. She was sent in to the building to sniff out booby traps but was blown to pieces when a jihadi bride came out firing her AK-47 at police before detonating her suicide vest. Tributes quickly poured in to the canine who had been decorated with service medals after a distinguished career in the force. One police handler said it was 'a little like losing one of our colleagues' while a Twitter user said Diesel had 'died to defend our colours'. The official profile for Police Nationale tweeted that Diesel 'was killed by terrorists in the current operation in Saint-Denis'. A source told MailOnline: 'When the policemen arrived with the dog, the dog came in first and was immediately killed. The French people are sad about the death.' The force said that 'assault and explosives' search dogs are indispensable to the work of the French anti-terror unit known as RAID. More than 100 police and soldiers were involved in a gunfight with up to six suspected Paris terrorists holed up in the flat including the mastermind behind the atrocities. The stand-off ended as a bloodied and half-naked suspect was dragged out of an apartment block through broken glass in Saint-Denis - close to the Stade de France. The gunfight started at 4.30am when SWAT teams and special forces surrounded the building believing the architect of the massacres that killed 129 people, Abdelhamid Abaaoud, 27, was inside. It is not known if he is dead or alive. A woman 'with long blonde hair' who may be Abaaoud's jihadi bride is said to have fired her AK-47 at police before blowing herself up as an assault squad first stormed the apartment block. Lotfi, a 50-year-old who was in the area, said: 'I heard police officers talking to a woman with long blonde hair. 'I think she was the kamikaze. They told her not to lower her arms, to keep her hands up in the air, and then there was a massive explosion. I think that's when she detonated her bomb. It really was a very loud explosion.' 'Lots of windows on the street were shattered, and then the firefight started and it was going on nonstop.' Lofti, who would not offer his surname, said he saw Diesel blown to pieces. As the suicide bomber attacked police, a rooftop sniper shot dead another terror suspect through a window. Police said that five people in the apartment were taken alive and arrested while two others were held 'nearby'. At least five police were injured in the ferocious gunfight including one shot in the foot seen being carried from the scene. Security had been watching several flats in Saint-Denis since yesterday and also tapped phones before they swooped this morning believing Abaaoud and other terrorists were inside.

all4naija:When you go get sense |
Icon4s:Congratulations to Nigeria and a big shout out to TheSuperNerd What has gone wrong is the Black Starlets Management Committee members and the technical team favoring untalented players from teams they have interest in.They make sure their lads are selected to the national team with the view of giving them exposure on the international stage and getting cash when eventually they secure contacts abroad. I have always maintained that Ghana can build its youth teams around West Africa Football Academy which is affiliated with Feyenord of Holland and Right to Dream Academy which has a partnership with Man City. But parochial interest of some officials will not let them recruit largely from these academies because when they excel on the international stage they will not benefit financially. The under 15 of Right to Dream Academy has been excelling in tournaments in Europe .Just this year they have won 2 cups in tournaments they participated in Europe. What stops us from forming the next national u17 squad around these boys Right To Dream Academy U15 win 26th edition of Marveld International Tournament This was May this Year Right to Dream Academy U15 won the Marveld International Tournament after beating Arsenal FC 4-0 in the final. The Akrade-based side topped their group with victories over Manchester United, PSV and Feyenoord. They went on to beat Dutch side Ajax Amsterdam on penalties in the semi-final. Right to Dream have become the first winners from sub-saharan Africa to win the 26-year-old youth tournament. Right To Dream U15 beat Genoa on penalties to win 2015 Manchester United Premier Cup . This was July this year Right to Dream Academy beat Genoa 4-3 on penalties to be crowned 2015 Manchester United Premier Cup World finals Champions. Both sides failed to score in normal play and extra-time at the AJ Bell Stadium in Manchester. Right to Dream quickly settled into their usual, attacking, fast-paced rhythm in the NIKE sponsored tournament and, despite an exhilerating display from the Ghanaians, the Genoa midfield remained steadfast in defense and continued to look dangerous on the break. The 0:0 scoreline at the end of normal play did not do justice to the scintillating football from both teams. Extra time was followed by penalty kicks in an effort to separate them. A missed penalty from Right to Dream generated groans around the stadium, but it was their goalkeeper who eventually saved the day 4:3 to ensure that the title, and the trophy, finally travelled to Ghana. Coach Frazer Robertson: “I am so very proud of my boys. They are all very skillful of course, but they showed great determination and character throughout the tournament. We had a couple of lucky breaks in the early stages, and then worked hard to capitalise on them.” |
