Paul was never involved in sharing of things for the poor, he concentrated on the word and prayers.
It was Bananas was incharge of sharing the tables.
The Philippians church gave so much to Paul out of their poor state.

2nd...You don't really need the holy spirit to understand plain English. There are Bible versions written in plain English, pick them up and read for yourself with your brain and not with the brain of your Sunday school teacher.

Tithing never started with Abraham.....If it did,a commandment by God would have been given expressively....

How can a so-called spiritual principle or law(like tithers will make us believe) be too silent in the scriptures without a single law or commandment from the scripture backing it or fronting Abraham?

Circumcision and burnt offerings were strictly commanded by God to Abraham...why are Christians no observing them...
Why observe what has no instruction from God?

Isaac was never instructed or commanded to tithe simply becos there was no existing law of tithe...rather he was commanded to make a burnt offering for God!

Jacob made a VOW to God wanting to offer him a tenth of all he has if God can help him....
What is a vow?
a solemn promise, pledge, or personal commitment
Before the law was given,many entities in the bible made VOWS from burnt offerings,heave offerings etc
Must a personal pledge or a voluntary commitment by some one in the bible to God apply to Christians?

See my bro Freeze may not be the usual powerful pastor or a charismatic evangelist or a renowned Prophet but one thing U can never take away from Freeze is his knowledge of the scriptures!

If U are of the belief that abraham paid "tithes",then there must be a laid down law that he was obeying
Remember there was a "commandment" by God to abraham to carry out burnt offerings
There was a "commandment" by God to abraham and his family to be circumcised.....
But there was no commandment from God to Abraham to tithe when he met king melchizedek after rescuing his cousin lot from the hands of the kings!
Remember that there are so many things Abraham did which were good and bad!
But they were not used as principles or law except the one commanded or instructed by God!

Let's do a quick analysis. Most of these pastors of mega churches with big auditoriums have thousands and thousands of members...some earning up to 700k month... Or even a million monthly. Let's use an average salary of 200k for the average member. 10% of that is N20,000... Multiply that by 2,000 people and you have 40 million naira monthly... Non taxed monies. This is just being modest with the calculations o. Cos some business men give millions in tithe every month. These pastors are living the life. That's why they can buy Rolls Royce's and private jets with ease.

Most people don't even pau tithe, genuine tithers will not be withdrawn becsuse someone lauched a campaign against their believe.
Some persons said God specifically told them to tithe, such persons leave them and God.
Any pastor that abuse the money in his control has God, the real owner to answer.

No criticism can slow down the growth and the move of God. from tithing to offering, from Jet ownership to mansions ownership. In all these things, we are more than conqueror in Christ Jesus. I love genuine pastors and prophets, not the only money loving pastors. I will give to them and their families, any day anytime.
