ROmney needs to grow up. He wants a recount in Ohio, Virginia, Colorado and Florida. Cnn's John King just made a presentation that even with Virginia, Ohio, Colorado, and Florida, OBAMA STILL WINS!! He needs to grow the hell up and concede. He's lost other political races why should this be any different

Mitt Romney refuses to accept the outcome of Ohio and refuses to make his concession speech (he hasn't written one yet!!).
What are your thoughts?

aurora: Hi Nairalanders! Need some candid advice. I‘ve been dating this guy for 2 years though we‘ve lived in different cities in the last one year. He invited me to visit him and I did.

While there last weekend he told me his mum was coming to visit and asked me to give him some space which I did. I‘m not prone to suspicion but I thought it would be an opportunity to meet her and seeing that his sister is married and stays in the same city, I wondered why his “mum“ would chose to stay at his place, so before leaving I set up an app on my phone to record whatever was going on in my absence. When I returned later, I found out that his “mum“ was actually another girl. Right now I‘m thinking of confronting him about his lie or just walking away and never looking back. What do I do?

CONFRONT HIM! You don't deserve to be treated like that. And when you do decide to confront him, pack some extra heat just in case (friend, brother, machete).
Can i just say you're effing awesome for recording what he did! Present him with the facts!!!

cindyrella: I am not sure that guy really loves you sef!

Confront him with the evidence first before you walk away!
So he will know the reason why you are dumping his assss!

Couldnt agree with you more grin

phineboy1pimple: Apparently, open relationships allow people to spice things up and keep life interesting. Wouldn't it just be easier to stay single?

Life would be easier by just staying single. Open relationships could potentially cause even more issues in the supposed relationship

Politics / Re: Is USA better than Nigeria??? by achukwunet(f): 6:10am On Oct 29, 2012
I would assume the answer to this question is easy

Of course the US is better than the US. The US offers stability unlike Naija. However, the US lacks in culture while Naija flourishes

Babe, 9ja guys are more than romantic. You gurlz are just to blind to take cognizance of what we do to bring about romance. All naija gurlz care is how the guy should spend money on you and all that crap. 9ja gurls' definition of a guy being caring for instance is how much he's able 2 lavish on u gurlz. Just imagine. @OP, una dy gree accept greeting card again 4 buffday? Hell no! If I buy flower give u, no b stone u go use am stone me? Na flower I wan chop? The list will go on and on... 9ja gurl romantic? Make I put hand 4 fire if dm gree dy romantic

Ok then enlighten me; tell me things nigerian men do for their girls to be romantic.

sexkillz: Try me. . .

what do you want to hear?

Romance / Nigerian Men Aren't Romantic.... PERIOD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1 by achukwunet(f): 4:55pm On Oct 23, 2012
The perfect Nigerian woman:
she must be beautiful and flawless, while they on the other hand never take care of themselves (physically speaking) and never show the slightest ounce of romance.

In just about every song you hear, Nigeria men have a smooth way to talk about their sweeties.

1) D'banj- "My sweet Potato"
2) Flavour Nabania- "My Jollof Rice" "My Tomato Juice"
3) Wizboy- "My Fotojenik", "Screen Saver"

*And a couple others....

-The tomato in my rice
-The only fish in my aquarium
-The sugar in my tea
-You are the only sugar in my tea, the only cockroach in my cupboard.
-I love you, oya talk your own
-I want to know you berra sweetie
-I want to harvest you
-It seems like I have seen you somewhere before
-My pastor said I would meet the woman of my dreams today, praise the lord he is correct.
-Shey you believe in love at first sight abi make I waka pass again?

But then when it comes to reality, they're not romantic! With all the beautiful women we have in Nigeria, our men should be moving heaven and earth to be romantic to make her feel good. I know these are just songs, but someone needs to say that there's nothing romantic about these pickup lines. SO, WHY ARE NIGERIA MEN NOT ROMANTIC? kiss

Health / Re: Benefits And Effects Of Cups Of Coffee A Day by achukwunet(f): 5:51am On Oct 21, 2012
The only benefits coffee gives is caffeine.... now the negatives are that your body then relies on the coffee to stay awake. The sugar you add to the coffee then turns into straight up fat... don't forget the cream too! You're better off drinking tea without cream and maybe 1 packet of sugar ONLY!
Romance / Re: My Boyfreind Wants To Lecture In My School Just To Keep An Eye On Me. by achukwunet(f): 1:37am On Oct 16, 2012
Well for starters just know that the problem is with him, not you.
Myne White: If you loved him, this may not be a bad idea as so many ladies do not like long distance

I'm sure she loves him but if he really loved and trusts her like he says he does, then there is no need for him to be lecturing at her school. That is the most retarded thing I've ever heard of! He's obviously insecure!!
