The narrative by Seun Kuti is utterly and completely unreliable. Which sane person would slap the same police officer that is after your life?? It is not logical. The first thing you would do in such a circumstance is to protect your family, refraining from provoking the officer. Seun Kuti is a wicked human being. A man who can slap a police officer (armed or not) can kill his maids and drivers. |
saintrow1:#1 Many countries that work have since abolished death penalty. #2 Calls for secessions are effectively attended to in countries that work. Don't you know the difference between England and Ireland? Even in very ruthless Asian countries like China, Hong Kong holds a very special and almost independent status. Majority of the people in Hong Kong do not consider themselves to be part of China due to their independent state. More than 50% speak English. It's not your fault that you don't know these basic stuff, afterall, you have very dum.b people as leaders; people who consider you to be nothing but a mere peasant, beggar. ![]() |
Savechild23:That is a country that works! This one will be freed for supporting BAT. Just watch out. |
Tout, you don't have a choice. You should have learnt a lesson from your fellow tout, Portable. |
ibkayee:Nothing else to add. Nigerians always accept and tolerate f00lishness in all aspects of life, right from their homes to national/state levels! |
gadgethead:And you type in English, a foreign language that was forced on you? What happened to your local language? Google no recognise am abi?? ![]() |
Exmilitant:There are many stup*d and senseless native names too. No issues with "foreign" names. |
Nigerians?? You mean Obidients?? |
khalling2008:The English interpretation of Sukuk is "Sharia Bond." Travel from Lagos to Abuja by road and see billboards/signboards with boldly written FG projects bearing "SUKUK" in bold. Many places (states) where Shari'a is forbidden, the federal government has technically smuggled Shari'a signposts into these states using SUKUK as a cover. I don't expect you to understand though, as a supporter of a muslim-muslim ticket. |
khalling2008:The fact that some persons had to give a loan some religious coloration (in the name of Sukuk) is the height of national stup!dity. USA, UK, Israel, China, and banks owned by Christians have been giving our loans for development purposes from time immemorial and no one has viewed any of these loans from the viewpoint of religion or christianity. Sukuk (AKA sharia bond) can only be tolerated under a fanatical Islamic president. |
LMAO ![]() Sharia laws are meant for the poor ONLY. ![]() |
plaindealer:Falz is Yoruba, Tinubu is Yoruba, I am Yoruba. You should look in the mirror when you use words like "tribalism." If your Igbo imaginations about everybody don't end you, nothing else would. Igbos are your nemesis and it's obvious. You can't see anyone else criticizing bad leadership except Igbos. That is how bad you have sunk - to accept retrogression and ruin so long as the perpetrators are Yoruba-Fulani people! |
plaindealer:If you have any semblance of shame, you will not compare the overseas lifestyle of a rapper to that of a two-term governor, ex-senator, political godfather, president-select, and mandate-thief. It's only a matter of time before y'all, reprobates, compare the japa trips of ordinary citizens to Tinubu's trips. |
Like his father, the Bashir guy is a pretty stupid person. No objections to a private individual travelling overseas for medical treatment, tourism, vacation, education, or other reasons. Private citizens have no civic, political, or moral duty to patronize a failing national system. We would only hold Falz accountable if he or his father had ever run or currently running for a top political office. |
At 38, I don't see the point writing JAMB and all those education stuff you're preaching, please. It is a complete waste of time and resources (unless you have a guaranteed job of 500k+ immediately after graduation). He doesn't have to learn a skill either if he already knows how to drive. Talk to your brother again to try Bolt/Uber driving. With access to internet and social media, it is very possible to find someone with a car. I'm not a fan of agbero or conductor job so I will never recommend it. |
CapitanS:Honestly, Nigerians don't recognize those who really deserve their praises. The shameless man they adore so much, Buhari, will be in the UK this week to fix his teeth. But look at Rema, bringing glory to the country in a foreign land. CKay achieved a similar feat sometime last year with his Love Nwantiti song, but omo, this one is bigger.
|
TheSuperX:The song has been trending non stop for months even in the middle east. From just one song, he has garnered over about 1 billion views on YouTube in. Over 700 million streams on Spotify, etc. in one year. That is an unbeatable record from any African Artiste, whether dead or alive. I don't see anyone beating that record anytime soon. Entertainers like Rema are the main reasons Nigeria is still considered a country. Their YouTube comment sections are always filled with all manner of praises. |
Shameless touts who called themselves leaders. Nobody hates Nigeria and "made-in-Nigeria" products and services more than these touts. These are the shameless touts that want to boost the value of our Naira but dem no dey use eyes see foreign medicare ![]() |
IyaebeTheGreat:Ohh I see... You get Tinubu's connect? I'm in town |
IyaebeTheGreat:?? |
Pipefitter:Calm down by Rema is one of the biggest (African) songs in the world. 99% of his listeners are foreigners, including Indians. |
IyaebeTheGreat:Are you in Abuja? |
Pengician:Goats and pigs that eat almost anything won't yield profit. |
IyaebeTheGreat:That clarification is very necessary. |
Congrats to Adeleke |
IyaebeTheGreat:Our? |
IyaebeTheGreat:Without reading the full story from both sides, you've already drawn a useless conclusion. |
The greenery in Nigeria is not being explored enough tbh ![]() Leaders that know how to explore the environment can do wonders in their states without trying too hard. Beyond the material benefits (beautification), it has well-proven positive implications on mental health and productivity. Many people are m.ad in Lagos because there's barely any meaningful space for plantations.. buildings, high-rise buildings, markets, cars, and humans at every fvking space, driving many people insa.e without even knowing. One major reason Abuja remains a better place - greenery. |
Penguin2:That man na illiterate. It takes a high degree of illiteracy to say a man who "came" third cannot contest the outcome of an election. |
Replace the "we" with "I" David Mark was in the Senate for 20 years, a Senate President for 8 years. Today, Benue has moved from bad to worse, a state nobody wants to visit. You people should always speak for your selfish interest! |
Muslims generally are not really scared of death or let me say they see and embrace death better than Christians. As long as they're meeting Allah or dying in a place of worship, they will generally accept fate and do almost nothing to help the situation. Christians who are looking up to a Buhari, a Shetimah, or El Rufai for safety from Islamiyah bandits are perpetually drunk. If you would not vote for someone to represent your interest, make sure you're voting an atheist who doesn't give a f**k about God or Allah. As long as you have people in power who take their religion very seriously, always seek for balance. There's a subtle hate against your mode of worship, whether you're a Christian or Muslim. Nobody really gives a f*k about your god apart from your own people. Nobody will save these ones or take their matter as a national emergency, unfortunately. I will say it again, Muslims no too dey fear death based on their orientation. They bury the dead in 24 hours, no time to waste mourning or merriment. Security matter can never be the top agenda of any Northern muslim politician. In fact, there is a rule across all barracks in Nigeria to leave the gates open on Fridays for everyone to come and pray If you're a bandit, you can simply walk into a military barracks unchecked on that "special" day. |
