PressMyButton:"If found guilty"? How do you find a person guilty? By sending policemen to abduct him, move him from Lagos to Ekiti State because of Afe Babalola? Where was the so called crime committed? |
Anaskie:6k for a copy. People are buying and giving it out for free on X. Many "elders" are yet to understand this generation. Nobody trusts public institutions anymore. Trying to use these institutions in a crude manner to prove your case against a perceived victim will hardly end well. |
PressMyButton:Is it not shameful to you that a citizen like you can order the Nigerian Police to pick you up in your house over a civil matter? Are you not worried? |
The bigger problem is that banks have stopped mounting new ATMs and bank branches. Even in Lagos State, majority of the residential areas do not have banks/ATMs. They've failed to evolved with people's preferences. You can't have your banks and ATMs in places majority of your customers can no longer afford to live/do business. We need to explore other avenues because POS is certainly not the way. Buying Naira with Naira can never be a mainstay in a modern world. |
IfnobeGod20:I struggled to read the rest of your response after reading this. You are so certain the thief would be a top government official without any evidence, yet you are disputing the claims of those who have provided evidence? There are many real estate companies in Nigeria owned by private citizens, so please do some research. For EFCC to have described the owner of that estate as a top brass official of the government, the organisation obviously has the name of the culprit. You're an educated person I believe. Is Sowore the spokesman to EFCC that you have to take his word as bond? You guys should try and be applying common sense, everything should not be one way traffic. Sowore is at liberty to make assumption but intelligent person should be wise enough to make finding as to ascertain the veracity of his statement but so surprise that some of you are descending low.Since, you have decided to make this about Sowore, please go after Punch Newspaper and the rest of the media organisations coming out to name the owner: Emefiele. This is Punch Newspaper quoting EFCC's own petition and claims: According to the EFCC, the massive property, allegedly acquired by Emefiele, through cronies, was originally meant for a mass housing development.Source: https://punchng.com/emefiele-cronies-acquired-753-duplex-estate-with-forex-kickbacks-efcc/ You still want to defend EFCC? All the best to you on that path. |
IfnobeGod20:Is this part also a rumour: "former top brass of the Nigerian government" ![]() As for the court papers, it's left for the Efcc to debunk or accuse Sowore of posting fake court papers. |
Na Christians dey tolerate these people and we often hide under "Jesus loves the sinner." While that is true, our message of salvation is not complete until we preach the part where Jesus preached hell and eternal damnation for these same sinners that refuse to repent. The only thing this generation is yet to witness is proper legislation for adultery. I see us getting to a point where people with higher testosterone or estrogen are allowed by law to exercise their rights without their partern's approval. We should not tamper on their rights if their biological makeup makes them prone to more sex ![]() I also see us getting to a point where marriage between man and animal or man and non-living things like trees and flowers, will become lawful. We will definitely get to that point, say in another decade or two. |
Court papers clearly indicated Emefiele as the owner of that estate. Of course, agencies of the Nigerian government understand very well that majority of the people can be easily lured into their f 0 0 lishness and deceit. You're trying to tell the people that the owner of that estate is unknown as he or she has not come forward to claim it, but somehow you know that this individual is a former "top brass of the government" (as stated in your initial report)? ![]() Our m u m u too much. ![]() |
You should have married a tout, bro. Military women are kindhearted and adorable. |
God have mercy! What a loss. |
Better to marry out of pity than for money. The former means you have a working conscience and a good heart. The latter makes you a thief. |
freeman67:I've just read a clause somewhere on the app "contact your relationship manager." Problem now is that I don't know how or where to reach this individual. I may have to take the difficult path of visiting one of the branches. I'm ready to embrace the loss, although I don't think it would be too significant. It's a 63 day tenor at 20.5%. |
freeman67:Alright, boss. Thank you I have sent at least 3 emails in the last 7 days, but no response. |
Good afternoon everyone, please has anyone successfully liquidated Tbills with standard chartered bank via email or app? freeman67 🙏 |
Nobody is immune from this shege. It is well. |
What % of Nigerians pay income TAX? Less than 3 million people?? LOL. To a poor man, the bigger problem is the current and ongoing deduction of N50 on all transactions above N10,000 and the various VAT deductions on your purchases. They sold you some freebies about personal income tax, which more than 85% of Nigerians dont pay anyway, and simultaneously instructed Opay, Moniepoint, etc. to start deducting una N50 on all transactions. How can you benefit from something that is not your business in the first place? The one wey concern una and the majority of poor folks, una ignore. Wetin concern poor man with small kiosk with personal income tax?How have you helped him if he still has to pay N50 to CBN on all transactions, multiple N200s to POS agents on top 10k withdrawals, and various undocumented tax to states and local government agberos? We nor get sense walai. |

See how everyone learned different things? Yeah, life has no manual. You will learn your lessons, make your own "mistakes," get your outcomes, etc. Many things are avoidable, more are unavoidable, no matter how hard you try. |
Very aggressive marketing! I was "forced" to download, couldn't resist. But, please we need to do proper journalism and research. There's nothing in and about this report that confirms Temu has the most downloaded app in Nigeria. |
I disagree. Nigerians have always been poor and poor countries (with or without subsidy) are known to have the highest birthrates. While hardship might lead to a drastic decline in birth rates, it will also and ultimately result in a higher death rate. More people may no longer afford healthcare, and everyone, including healthcare providers, will begin rationing resources. This means that access to quality care will be compromised, and even feeding the "few" who remain could become a significant challenge. Literacy and quality education are the only sustainable solutions. |
Am I surprised? Nope. Acidosis: |
OP is a proper scammer. |
You have a very domineering mother. Sorry if that sounds harsh, but I couldn't find a better way to put it. However, it might be wise to listen to her not because she wants you to spend your money on her interests but to give you time to thoroughly evaluate your potential partner. A combination of a domineering mother and a domineering partner is deadly. You are a man; take charge of your decisions. |
Africans will travel abroad and begin gatekeeping. A similar trend is evident in Nigeria, where non-indigenes from other states appear more concerned about the influx of "immigrants" than the aboriginal people. The day the indigenes decide to do the exact thing you're doing, none of you, including madam Kemi, would be spared. |
The op is most likely a scammer. Your previous thread on family section already made the front page, isn't? Why repeating the same trash with your informant (i.e., Buziness101) on health section?? I blame the mods sha. |
LOL |
They're just too funny. Nigeria's unemployment rate is now lower and better than Canada's ![]() |
Yeah, without the reforms, you may have lost your sanity. All thanks to Tinubu. |
Esthered:Poor little humans 😢😢 |
Esthered:I saw a video earlier. |
Nigeria made Davido and his father but the same Nigeria couldn't make you and over 130 million people living in chronic multidimensional poverty. 🤡🤡 |
