cococandy:Sorry, I couldn't resist 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 |
If only Buhari handled this scandemic the way Yahaya Bello did. |
People go still buy "dip" and become millionaires in few weeks/months. At N1500/$1, buy crypto/alts (especially Cardano or Solana) worth N2.5m, hold for a few weeks, and you might just make extra 1m for yourself. The Nigerian economy will do two things due to its fragility: Make you or break you. |
To a proper Muslim, it is Islam first before the "conventional culture" or ethnicity. To a Christian, it is ethnicity, nationality, and culture before Christianity. Christians may not admit this fact, but that's the reality. Check the percentage of people who often oppose religion-based names, it's often the Christians who believe their culture comes first before any religion. In Islam, religion is interwoven with culture. So, you'll often find a Nigerian Muslim, an Indonesian Muslim, and a Togolese Muslim prioritising the same name for their kids - Muhammad. Nationality is secondary. Muslims from all over the world will come into your country and, while you're busy fighting their religion (mosques), they are actually taking over your culture and nationality. Islam is not just a religion but a culture. Christians count their spread by the number of Churches they build. Hehehe. Muslims will build only one mosque in a city and still have more population than Christians and their 1,000 worship centres. That's what culture can do. It is a way of life. They carry their religion everywhere. It will show in their names and even in their manner of dressing, something modern Christians - who want to worship Jesus and still do onlyfans - can't do. |
freeman67:Right.. After several attempts, I realise I could do everything on the app within few seconds. Few minutes after I applied to terminate, a staff called to confirm my application. |
descarado:Raw fish? Maybe in my next life ![]() The "innocent faces" in those crime scenes are always the funniest part! What can I do but just shake my head and laugh? ![]() Glad to know you're fine on your end too |
descarado:I feel more confident when I know the fish is properly cooked. I hate seeing cooked fish come out of the pot looking raw. So, most of the time, I just prefer frying it. I know it's fear though 😄 We’re all doing fine, my sister. We are at a phase where I am gradually starting to keep breakables out of reach. 😄 How have you been, sis? |
I won't eat this. |
The only shameful thing is PO's refusal to resign from the criminal party, which now appears as another arm of the APC. I know he will tender his resignation eventually, but why wait this long? |
Jagabanbattle:A corrupt officer of the government is somewhere smiling and laughing at your ideas. They said they're closing our borders to encourage local farmers but till tomorrow, customs officers and their agents (smugglers) will continue to smuggle rice, frozen chicken, and vegetable oil into the country to sell at exorbitant prices. What's the government doing about corruption? A Nigerian journalist, Fisayo, provides daily updates and receipts, including names and videos of officers involved in these practices on X, but what has Tinubu's government done about that? Nothing. Dem no send una. He tried to replicate the same expose in another sister criminal agency (petroleum), but we all saw how it ended. There's a video indicting IBD Dende and others all over social media, but who's going to arrest him? Oh, I almost forgot, this is not a libel or defamation case, just some "minor" corrupt practices here and there... |
Ishilove:Hmmn.. A major concern |
Not massive, but it's impressive. The gain started following direct FX trading on Bloomberg. This is bad news for fx holders and crypto people. Good news for Nigerians, if the gain stays consistent enough. |
ALTERNATEID:Abi, like they always do to others that do not have Afe Babalola's influence. |
The whole abduction abi arrest, journey from Lagos to Ekiti, detention, court sitting, etc. happened in less than 72hrs. That's all I need to know about the system. |
AuthorMan:The fight sef is meaningless. Building an inclusive worship centre for a religion that is too diverse and unconventional is waste of commonsense. Politicians will end up dividing the already polarised religion the way they have done with Christians and Muslims Imagine a fight between Sango and Sapona worshippers. LMAO ![]() If the traditional worshippers are proud of their religion, let them start by using their own fund to build befitting worship centres in Lekki the way Christians do. But nope, they won't for obvious reasons. They're mostly intolerant and thrive on deep ethnic and tribal sentiments. You can't take Ikorodu deity to Lekki. Most deities cannot operate outside their land or region because they need people to help flog and openly beat non-indegenes who violate their order. |
Napata77:Hehe okay.. |
Napata77:How many? |
Temple for which of the gods? |
Such happens when you're no longer in sync with your own reality. Imagine creating more institutions to graduate students you'll end up discriminating in the labour market. |
Personal band and praise singers nko? You don't want that? ![]() |
abduleez1:Showmax Subscription? I think BBN is the main reason showmax managed to get subscribers in Nigeria. Even in Showmax's home country, SA, Netflix remains the dominant player. Having the right numbers is one issue; getting these people to pay the right fee is another. Netflix's standard plan in South Africa costs R159 ($8.76). In Nigeria, the same plan costs 5,500 ($3.38). Do you know the implication to a global company? Having 3 Nigerian subscribers is equivalent to just 1 SA subscriber. We usually have the right number, but often times, this number is useless in the scheme of things (economic-wise). In this case, we don't have both the number and the economic power. |
Esthered:Good question, hehe... That means we can't blame the banks, but we also can't blame Fintechs because they paved the way for a true cashless economy, but how far have we gone in this journey towards achieving a true cashless economy? The growing number of |
Mariangeles:Hmm, I wish I have one viable recommendation. I think most alternative platforms, like Showmax or Prime, are subscription-based, and as long as poverty remains a problem, I don't think there's much they can do. But, oh well, some of them are still making it big in cinemas. |
Voltron007:Wow! I had no idea, haven't subscribed for about 7 months. |
SmartPolician:True, I agree. |
Mariangeles:You're right. But if YouTube became fully premium, it would mean that all videos would only be available to paid members. Movie producers should really seek other alternatives. Anything can happen, hmm |
blueghost:You still haven't learned anything from this news. Which Nigerian streaming platform will give you access to over 4,000 premium and multi-million Naira movies and blockbusters for less than 5k a month? Well, since you want an alternative, movie producers can go back to dstv, where premium subscribers are expected to pay over 15k a month for low quality and low budget movies. How about that? NTA and TVC are other alternatives though! |
Economy don hit them badly. How can a nation of over 180 million people have only about 200k active subscribers? Even that number is questionable given recent economic trends. I think I now understand why many Nigerian movie producers and their audience ran to YouTube. YouTube is Netflix biggest competitor in Nigeria and that's because YouTube is free (with ads of course). So, Nigerians are neither subscribing on YouTube nor Netflix to see their Nollywood movies. Buying data is already by the grace of God. Make YouTube premium ($13/monthly) mandatory to a Nigerian audience and watch Nigerians return to NTA with the speed of light. Dstv is not even an option because both the producer and the audience are not willing to go back to Egypt (i.e., decoders and cable TV). |
tosinhtml:Absolutely |
It might work in other aspects of life, like football, but not in politics. People's political ideologies are often a reflection of their essence and nature. Relationships are also highly influential. You can't love someone without being influenced by some of their beliefs. You will always influence each other so deeply that critical issues like politics will eventually have you both agreeing on one thing. When you find yourselves disagreeing on core issues like religion or politics without any issues in your home, it likely means that one or both of you do not truly care deeply about that issue. Na why you will hardly see a devoted Christian and a devoted Muslim together. |
Hookup is gradually replacing proper love relationship. May God be with and guide those striving to get something meaningful from the relationship market. |
