Manchester United have announced their pre season tour squad.





Reportminds.com learned that Paul Pogba has been included in the squad in Australia.


The team bus travelled today for the trip.


It understood that new signing Wan Bissaka and Daniel James made Ole Gunnar Solskjaer squad.


Recall that during the week, Juan Mata and Andreas Pereira signed new deal alongside Marcus Rashford.



Paul Pogba has been seriously linked with a move away from Old Trafford. Earlier in the week, his agent, Mino Raiola revealed the French is expected to leave.


Juventus, Real Madrid, Paris Saint-Germain and other top clubs in Europe are linked to Pogba.

Furious at having been sent off for just the second time in his career, Lionel Messi criticised CONMEBOL after Argentina's 2-1 victory over Chile in the third-place play-off.


The Albiceleste captain did not take any part in the ceremony, after a Copa where he has hit the headlines more for his outbursts against organisers Brazil and CONMEBOL than his exploits on the pitch.

And when he finally addressed reporters from the stadium he launched a withering condemnation of the competition's organisation in supposed favour of the hosts.

"There is no doubt, the whole thing is set up for Brazil," he fired, before suggesting that he paid the price for his previous outburst against the refereeing of the semi final.

Messi previously criticised the playing surfaces at the Copa America following Argentina's last-eight victory over Venezuela, labelling the pitches "shameful" after a subdued performance.

But it was in the aftermath of Tuesday's defeat that he really let loose, incensed by the failure of match official Roddy Zambrano to refer two penalty calls to VAR in Brazil's 2-0 victory.

"They were not better than us. They found the net early and the second goal came from a penalty [to Aguero] they didn't award," Messi told reporters.

"They [the officials] had booked a lot of bullsh*t, but they didn't even check the VAR, that's incredible.

"That happened all over the game. At the first glance of contact, they ruled in their [Brazil's] favour and this kind of bullsh*t distracted us from the game."

PSG have confirmed the signing of former Man Utd player Ander Herrera. The Spanish midfielder has signed a five-year contract with the club until 30 June 2024.


The 29-year-old, who spent five seasons with the Red Devils after arriving from Athletic Bilbao, won the FA Cup, EFL Cup and Europa League during his stay at Old Trafford.

Herrera made 189 appearances for the Red Devils, notching 20 goals and 27 assists. The midfielder also put in a man of match performance for Man Utd’s 2017 Europa League Final victory, having previously reached the final with Athletic Bilbao in 2012.


He was released by the club at the end of the 2018-19 campaign and will now ply his trade with the Ligue 1 champions from next season. He will wear the number 21 on his Rouge et Bleu jersey.

Former Manchester City captain Yaya Toure joins Chinese second-tier side Qingdao Huanghai


Three times Premier League champion Toure has been without a club since leaving Olympiacos in December, terminating his contract by mutual consent after a disappointing brief return to his former club.

Toure denied suggestions last month that he had subsequently retired as he is hungry to keep playing and insisted he still has 'a few more years' left.

Toure has also been the subject of interest from the Middle East but moving to China will allow him to resume playing straight away with the League One season underway and running until November.

Qingdao Huanghai is currently at the top of the Chinese second-tier.

The retired goalkeeper came through the ranks at Molineux and spent his entire professional career on the club's books, only playing for other teams on loan spells.

Ikeme was diagnosed with acute leukaemia in July 2017 but announced in June 2018 that he was in complete remission after "a tough year and intense chemotherapy"

Wayne Rooney has claimed Louis van Gaal is 'by far the best coach I have worked with' during his illustrious career, picking the Dutchman over Sir Alex Ferguson, Jose Mourinho and Fabio Capello.


Van Gaal, who was appointed manager of the Red Devils in 2014 and led them back to the Champions League and to FA Cup glory, managed the former England captain during his two-year spell at Old Trafford.

'Van Gaal is by far the best coach I have worked with - one hundred per cent,' Rooney said, according to The Mirror.

'His tactical skills, his way of preparing and his attention to the finest of details, I found amazing.

'I admired that in him. I had never looked at stuff like that before.

Rooney admitted their relationship was not always joyous but vowed to take some of his experiences from Van Gaal into his own coaching career in the future.

He added: 'Van Gaal knows that the way he works is tough for players. I made him aware of that at the time and we talked about this very well together.

'I regret how it all ended, yet I know one thing for sure - I have learnt a lot from him and I am definitely going to use those lessons for when I am a manager.'

Describing the success he has recorded in his music career so far during a chat with Showtime, the self-styled ‘Egberi Papa 1 of Bayesa’, noted that he cannot trade music for anything.

“I’m more grateful than satisfied. It’s been quite an experience; I wouldn’t trade music for anything”, he said.

He added that the biggest thing he has ever done for himself is making effort to continuously learn new things that would help in improving his craft and equally make him a better person.

Speaking on his latest body of work, an EP titled ‘Chulo Vibes’, he described it as a collection of songs which best describes the Timaya brand.

“Chulo Vibes is an EP with 9- tracks, including ‘Balance’, ‘Pull Up’, ‘The Mood’ and more. It is a collection of music that I can say best defines me, my sound and brand. I am all about good energy; love, positive living, being thankful always, and you can hear all this on, not just the EP, but all my songs.”

He added that ‘Balance’, one of the songs off the EP is a true representation of where he currently is in life.

“Balance’ is a representation of where I am in life at the moment. I’ve a good life, a great career, my family is doing great. I am very grateful for that and I hope it inspires people to stay thankful too. ‘Balance’ is that feel good song; you can play and listen to anywhere”, he said.

First images of Aaron Wan-Bissaka in a Manchester United kit have been leaked online this evening as the 21-year-old looks set to complete a transfer to Old Trafford.

This follows a report from the Sun yesterday that included pictures of Wan-Bissaka arriving at the Lowry Hotel in Manchester ahead of concluding his £50million move from Crystal Palace.

All that’s missing now is an official announcement from Man Utd, but these pictures surely confirm what we already knew anyway.

Wan-Bissaka shone as a bright prospect in the Premier League last season and looks an ideal long-term replacement for the departing club veteran Antonio Valencia.

The Egyptian Football Association (EFA) have recalled striker Amr Warda back to the team after he was kicked out of Africa Cup of Nations squad for 'sending inappropriate sexual messages' to several women including an Instagram model.


On Wednesday, the EFA announced that Amr Warda, who plays for Greek club PAOK had been dismissed from the national team for disciplinary reasons.



This was days after Warda found himself accused of cyber sexual harassment by a number of women including Egyptian-British model Merhan Keller who alleged that Warda, 25, had sent her and other women inappropriate and aggressive messages.


On Thursday, Amr Warda issued an apology over the recent events that led to his departure from Egypt’s AFCON2019 squad.


This morning, Ahmed Shobeir, the Egyptian Football Association’s vice-president, announced on his official Facebook page that Amr Warda has officially returned to the squad.

LaLiga presented their new Puma ball for the 2019/20 season using several of the biggest names in Spanish football.

Antoine Griezmann, Samuel Umtiti and Luis Suarez all danced on the streets with the ball during the announcement video.

Jan Oblak, Santi Cazorla and Marc Bartra also featured in the action-packed video alongside other freestyle dancers.

All the players in the video are sponsored by ball supplier Puma.


The Puma La Liga ball is white with a green-navy upper graphic and a massive orange Puma Cat branding on the side, with a Liga-inspired graphic appearing behind it.

After the league let it be known to the press that it wanted Nike out due to the designs being too generic, the first-ever Puma La Liga ball is quite a disappointment. Apart from the league logo and the aforementioned graphic, it's just a recoloring of the default Puma Final 1 Statement ball (displayed below) - with an even larger logo. The tech behind that model is not at all new either as it was debuted more than a year ago.

Manchester United legend, Wayne Rooney has got football lovers talking online after he scored a sensational wonder strike from inside his own half.


The former England captain who now plays for DC United scored the outrageous long-range strike from 60 yards out against Orlando City on Wednesday evening.

Legendary American rapper, Eminem’s estranged father, Marshall Bruce Mathers Jr., has died at the age of 67.


According to TMZ, Mr.Marshall died earlier this week after suffering a heart attack at his home near Fort Wayne, Indiana.


Before his death, Eminem didn’t have a good relationship with his father, who moved to California after splitting with Eminem’s mother, Debbie, when he was a child. Em rapped about his dad on songs like “My Name Is” and “Cleanin’ Out My Closet,” which reflected their estranged relationship.


“I was a baby, maybe I was just a couple of months / My f****t father must have had his panties up in a bunch,” he rapped. “‘Cause he split, I wonder if he even kissed me goodbye / No, I don’t / On second thought I just fu**ing wished he would die.”



According to Eminem’s mother, she married Bruce when he was 22 and she was 15, and gave birth to the rapper two years later. They split up shortly after, and Eminem and his mom moved to Detroit with her family while Bruce moved to California where he had two other kids.


In 2001, Bruce published a letter to his son in a newspaper, claiming that Eminem’s mom kept him away.

“I desperately want to meet my son and tell him that I love him,” he told the Mirror. “I’m not interested in his money. I just want to talk to him. I want him to know that I’m here for him if he lets me back into his life.”


Eminem once told the Mirror: “My father? I never knew him. I’ve never even seen a picture of him,” adding, “I heard my dad is trying to get in contact with me, but not now. I never got one letter.”

Manchester City have confirmed that Gabriel Jesus will wear the number nine squad number heading into the 2019/20 campaign.

The Brazilian previously wore number 33 but the reigning Premier League champions have opted to award the 22-year-old with a more recognised squad number for a leading striker.

The previous five players to have worn the number nine for the Citizens were Nolito, Alvaro Negredo, Emmanuel Adebayor, Valeri Bojinov and Emile Mpenza, who all found limited success at the club.

However, Jesus has already proven his worth in the Manchester City ranks, scoring 45 goals in 100 appearances for Pep Guardiola’s side, winning various honours including two Premier League titles, the FA Cup, EFL Cup and FA Community Shield.

Bunmi Thomas, a jazz singer born in Britain to Nigerian parents is facing deportation after falling foul of controversial Home Office red tape.

Rising music star Thomas was shocked to be told she is in Britain illegally, despite having lived there for most of her life, in a chilling echo of the Windrush scandal last year.

According to the Daily Mail, She now faces being sent to Nigeria, even though her work, family and social life are all in Britain.

Ms Thomas was born in Glasgow in June 1983 to parents who had come from Africa in the early 1970s.

Changes to the British Nationality Act in January 1983 removed the automatic right to citizenship of children born in the UK to parents from former colonies.

The singer’s parents should have registered her under the Act but were unaware they needed to do so. Her plight is harder to bear because her elder sister Kemi, with whom she lives in East London, has always been a British citizen as she was born before the changes to the Act.

Ms Thomas believes she is a victim of the Home Office becoming over-zealous after then Home Secretary Theresa May introduced a ‘hostile environment’ towards illegal migrants in 2012.

The policy resulted in the Windrush scandal, which saw dozens of long-standing British citizens deported because they lacked papers proving their right to be in the country.

Ms Thomas, 36, who has performed on the BBC, said: ‘My parents came here at the end of the Windrush era.

‘I had a National Insurance number, I had my birth certificate, I’d got a driving licence, a bank account, I went to college. At no point during that process was there any indication I was doing anything incorrectly. I believe that I am British.’

Although she was born in Scotland, Ms Thomas lived with her father in Nigeria between the ages of three and 18. She thought she had dual British-Nigerian nationality when she returned to Britain. She applied for a UK passport when she was 25 but she was refused. She was granted temporary discretionary leave to remain and told she could apply for permanent residency.

But two weeks ago, Ms Thomas received a letter saying her application had been unsuccessful, and that she had to leave within 14 days or appeal, or face detention and deportation without notice.

Super Eagles Captain, John Mikel Obi said in a recent interview that he prefers Nigerian female singer, Yemi Alade to Davido.


Mike said this in a recent interview according to The Nation. The International footballer also revealed his preference for Lionel Messi over Cristiano Ronaldo and his love for Chinese food over Nigerian meal, Eba.

“To be honest, I don’t eat eba as much. I think for the last five or six years, I eat more Chinese food than eba, ” he said of his food preference.

President Muhammadu Buhari has charged the Super Eagles to play every match for the honour of their motherland as they file out in their first match against Burundi in the African Cup of Nations holding in Egypt.

The President, in a statement signed by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Mr Femi Adesina, in Abuja on Saturday, urged the Eagles to lift the flag of Nigeria high, and reinforce the reputation of the country as a football powerhouse on the continent.

He said: “I will be watching, just as millions of Nigerians would also do.

“You have our solid support, and we will cheer you to victory,”he said.

He added: “Nigerians are known for their unconquerable spirit. Show this in the group stages, and even beyond. Nothing but lifting of the diadem is good enough for our country,”he stated.

He also enjoined the Super Eagles to be mindful of fair play, and sportsmanlike conduct, as they strive to return home with the AFCON trophy.

Super Falcons player, Francisca Ordega has revealed that she once slapped her ex-boyfriend for looking at another lady.

According to her, she slapped her ex-boyfriend for looking at another woman because the jealousy was obvious and she wondered if the lady was prettier than her.

Speaking to PUNCH’s Kelvin Ekerete, she was asked about the craziest thing she did on and off the pitch.

On the pitch in the US, that was two years ago, I had this hair bun I always put on. We were training and all of a sudden, my wig and the hair bun fell off but I didn’t realise it was off, I was still running with the ball and all the players stopped and were all laughing. At the back of my mind, I was like, ‘what is happening?’ I was with the ball and was about scoring, and everyone was just laughing. So, I turned and tried to look around. Then, one of them just pointed, saying ‘Franny.’ Then I looked at it.

It was embarrassing and at the same time funny; even the coach, everyone were just laughing. Each time I remember the scenario, it always cracks me up. And off the field, my first boyfriend ever, we were together and were going out. I was younger then, I was really young. We were going out and there was this very pretty girl that was so cute, cuter than me, and my boyfriend was just staring at her and I was like, ‘Hey! What are you looking at?’ And a lot of people were there, lots of them and I didn’t even know when I slapped him like, ‘Hey! What are you looking at? Is she prettier than me?’ I did it with all seriousness and everything. The jealousy was just obvious.

I was so jealous at that moment and everyone was just laughing at me. In our language (Tiv) they said, ‘Take care of your property, I like your spirit, carry on.’ I was so embarrassed but now it’s always fun to me anytime I remember it or when I see him. If we get to see each other, he usually asks me, ‘I hope you’ve stopped this drama thing?’ And I’ll be like, ‘Hey! I’ve stopped.’ So, it’s kind of crazy.

What do you do before and after a game?

I just like to wear my headset, listen to my favourite music from Wizkid. Also, I try to eat a lot of food to recover the energy lost.
