My question now is this,What medicine (Whether traditional or not) could be be administered into someone who has been bitten by any kind of snake to slow down the reaction or even quench it in case Hospital is far away ?

I am an alternative medicine practitioner in Ghana and treating venomous snake bites is easy with herbs.

You can use the following herbs

1) Acalypa indica Leaf paste applied over the bitten part or paste smeared on spot of bite 3 to 4 days of this would clear any venom of any snake and heal the puncture

2) Achyranthes aspera whole plant extract or root extract is given orally.

3) Aegle marmelos Decoction/extract (twice a day up to 5 days) of the leaves is given orally or root bark extract is administered internally for every 4 hours up to 3 days.

4) Alangium salvifolium About 15 g of bark, ground with 10 to 12 black peppers and mixed with 60 g animal fat, is given every 2 hours to cure snakebite. The Root bark decoction is given internally to treat.

5) Allium sativum Bulb is made into paste and given orally.

6) Andrographis echioides Nees Paste of whole plant is given orally with water. It is also applied externally.

7) Andrographis lineate Paste of leaves is applied externally. About 30 g of whole plant paste is directly administered orally.

8 ) Aristolochia bracteolate Leaves paste applied externally as well as infusion is taken orally.

9) Aristolochia indica Fresh roots are grounded along with rouwalfia serpentina mixed in water taken twice daily for 3 days. The Root powder is snuffed, root juice is given orally and root paste applied locally.

10) Aristolochia tagala root Crushed, mixed with water and drunk as well as fresh roots are grounded and applied externally on affected portion.

There are many more plants you can use and i cannot list them all but do note that the above handles any kind of venomous bite of any snake. Just make sure you apply them within a space of 5 to 10mins after the bite maximum. Also ensure you have a tourniquet tied above the place one has been bitten while preparing these herbs to avoid a speedy intravenous movement of the venom to essential organs.

As an alternative medicine practitioner i can tell you for a fact that what you have is LUPUS.

It is an autoimmune disease in which the body's immune system becomes hyperactive and attacks normal, healthy tissue. Causing inflammation and damage to the joints, skin etc.

You assume it is an infection which is why you have used all sorts of drugs and medicated creams on it with zero effect. None will work because it is not an infection on your skin but your body fighting against itself .

A friend has been going through a health challenge on his left leg for over a year now.

He ran 4 different types of tests on the leg but the outcome of the tests is a fungal infection.

It started like a small boil, after it got bust, little by little it turned to what it is today.

It doesn't pain him but only scratches him

What your friend has is an auto immune condition called Psoriasis. There is no known treatment for it conventionally. The only things that manage the situation and can stop the itch/reduce it exceedingly well and get the skin back to normal or almost back to normal are herbs and this is fact.

It is what I said it is. I have seen and treated enough of it to know what it is by sight.

I am sure the OP has also experienced body pains along with it but left that part out since he probably felt it was unrelated to the swelling on his lip

i am an alternative medicine practitioner and that on your lip is Herpes simplex 1 aka HSV 1 or cold sore. It is a viral infection. I can treat it for good for you but if you want temporary relief you can use a fresh clove of garlic, crush it and apply directly to the spot if you can stand the pain. If not, then mix with some olive oil and apply to the spot at least 3 times a day. The swelling should be gone by monday.

For the pain you can take Tylenol or Paracetamol.

A 1 cup or 145 gram serving of raw papaya pieces contains 0.36 milligrams of iron. This amount supplies 4.5 percent of a man's 8-milligram recommended daily allowance of iron, and 2 percent of a woman's 18-milligram daily requirement.

As you can see, 0.36 milligrams is from 1 cup and what i am referring to is 2 tablespoons morning and another 2 at night which means the iron is rather insignificant.

Hello Madam. Sorry about your kid sister. I am an alternative medicine practitioner from ghana and can tell you what works in these emergency situation you are in.

Go and get some pawpaw leaves. The Pawpaw tree is readily available in most places. Wash the leaves properly and either squeeze out the juice or put in a mortar and pound out the juice. It is only the leaf you must use and not the stalk.

Give her 2 tablespoons of the juice in the morning and same at night. She will not only have her blood platelets count boosted but also her red blood cell count.

Be consistent with this and she would always have enough blood in her.

Learn to ensure she always eats green leafy vegetables as they are a great source of vitamin K and vitamin K is very good for those who frequently suffer low blood counts like SCD patients
