Nicon Luxury Abuja owned by the Abuja international hotel under Fcda managed by Barr Jimor Ibrahim today was close down for some hours due to a warning strike by the Associates, mobile police men where seen chasing and Beating up the staff pouring tear Gas on them even though it was a peacful strike, I ll soon upload videos n picture evidences.. The protest was due to cutting down of staff salaries (service charge) they he the chairman Bar Jimor said the money is too much for the staff, and the delay of payment, casualisation, victimisation, none payment of benefit if leaving the organisation, staff buses parked without beeing attended to and many more, Ever since he took over (Bar Jimor) some 6year ago it has been like that, no promotion, no permernency for the casuals, unnecesary termination of appointed, So the staff are saying they are tired, and for the first time they came out today in mass to protest, they shot down power, closed the enterance gate, and all the staff where gathered outside, considering the fact that it was goin to be a very busy time for the hotel because the Kano state Government are having a fuction, a 3day fuction, so after about 2hours of close of bussiness the Hotel union and the management met and the sent a memo begging and assuring the staff that they are goin to comply, and like i said its just a warning Strike, should they fail to comply?? We are goin to proceed on the main one, soon uploading pics and vids... We cant be slaves in our fathers land, Solidarity Forever... Dont ask me for no source am reporting this live!!!! |

2mch:how can u explain this, a lady from cross river state was employed 2003 as a cashier in the account department, shes been working there ever since, shes worked in diferent section in the account department and shes a graduate, 4 years a yoruba girl was employed, she was employed as a casual in the f/b department, after some months she was now giving a contract position dats a contract staff, she ran a per-time programme and then graduated some last year or so, shes worked in the f/b department all through but right now shes been made the cashier manager ahead of all the otherv people who ve been there 5 years b4 she came, plss explain this to me? no experience in the field yet shes heading the department, likewise most deprtments we have the H.O.D with less or no experince and heading a department ahead of doz dat knew the job all cos they are yorubas plss explain |
