may ALLAH (GOD) guide and protect the igbo Muslims in the Eastern part of the country. you igbos of other faith should take time to learn or read what Islam stands for before you back out.. Do not judge Islam with the attitude of some Muslims but you have to know the Islamic perspective of the action of Muslims. some Muslims today in the northern part of our country are treating other faiths in a disdained manner opposite to the teaching of Islam. most christains are exhibiting the same behaviour too.. may we be United as a nation in respective of the differences in our tribe & religion. |

Why calling Muslims now?? Rapping and attacking other faith worshippers never part of Islam but if you have evidence to back your claim from Qur'an then you can pin point them. The perpetrators are nothing but criminals but you calling Muslims is highly wrong and that can create a disconnection between christains and Muslims. may God expose the perpetrators so that the full wrath of the law can take its course. |

enilove: Religion should submit to the law of the land. The land or country is the keeper of peace not religion organisations. Everyone cannot be allowed to put on whatever they like just because their religion allows it.
Every organisation has it rules and regulation guiding its operations. Professional bodies have codes of conduct which the members must follow. These codes of conduct must be adhered to by every member and aspiring member.
Removal of hijab is not removal of pants and braziers. If every one is allowed to wear whatever they wish because of their religion or fundamental human rights some will put on rubbish and nonsense things.
How would it look if police women starts putting on hijab and church caps on their uniforms. Hijab is compulsory for Muslim ladies. Is church caps compulsory for christains? Religion should come first because hereafter is everlasting so why should we exchange it with this temporary world |

I grew up with my mother so indirectly I was a Christian but had a Muslim name. I started reading both religious holy book and found out they’re don’t make sense with a lot of scientific errors in them. So I started to question my belief, I was an agnostic at that point
Until I started asking my father some questions about religion but he couldn’t answer. So I became an atheist Brother, kindly mention the scientific contradictions in Bible & Qur'an for enlightenment purposes. You can also drop those questions your beloved Dad failed to answer about Islam. Thanks |

ollah1: The part of the Bible that makes me wonder every time is
"If your very own brother, or your son or daughter, or the wife you love, or your closest friend secretly entices you, saying, “Let us go and worship other gods” (gods that neither you nor your ancestors have known, 7 gods of the peoples around you, whether near or far, from one end of the land to the other), 8 do not yield to them or listen to them. Show them no pity. Do not spare them or shield them. 9 You must certainly put them to death. Your hand must be the first in putting them to death, and then the hands of all the people. 10 Stone them to death, because they tried to turn you away from the Lord your God, who brought you out of Egypt, out of the land of slavery" Deuteronomy 13
Before you play old testament cards Your pastors collecting tithe with Malachi You pray with Pslam and quote proverbs
Exodus 5:18
"For truly I tell you, until heaven and earth disappear, not the smallest letter, not the least stroke of a pen, will by any means disappear from the Law until everything is accomplished"
Don't be intelligent by half
Yet Jesus is ever forgiving and merciful How I wish these verses can be defended. Can anyone explain the above quoted verses from the holy bible?? |

For me sha, I'm sitting on the fence on this issue, I can't tell if it's right or wrong.
Muslims deprive many Christians of Thier right in the core northern states that practice Sharia. Imagine I can't drink alcohol peacefully and you control the way Christian girls dress in a secular nation.

Our problem in this country is one, we are not religious but we always claim to be. If we give chance to Bible & Qur'an to guide our activities as Christians and Muslims respectively, Nigeria could have be a better place to rest... I am a Muslim, but I have never read any verse in the Qur'an that states that non Muslims should be treated unjustly and I guess that portion is not also in the Bible...But how do we arrived here where Muslims & Christians are like cat & dog in most of our daily activities ? |
