I have seen the debilitating and gruesome poverty in parts of the north 1st hand.

Nigeria is the World's Poverty capital cos of the north, esp the NW and NE.

The statistics for povertypoverty in most of the south is within middle income country range( 10-25%), whereas the Northwest has a ppverty rate of over 80%!!!!

Same goes for Illiteracy rate, severe hunger rate, infant mortality rate, drug abuse rate, etc etc. In fact, but for the north, Nigeria's himan indices would certainly not have put her amongst the worst performing in the world.

Theirs is just from the position of power grabbing, the numerous cultural and religious standing in the north doesn't see anything wrong in poverty, backwardness, almajiri, so it is generally against development and would frastruate any president that hopes to do so.


This country needs to be restructured and reorganize to move forward but such would affect the parasitic north culturally, religiously, structurally and otherwise.

Hence because of its vast unproductive population the nation is screwed cos it would keep on having those sympathetic to it's plight just to remain in power

@topic, it is great that you are trying to dispense some of the negative sterotypes about northerners, esp Hausas and Fulanis.

However, you have to also acknowledge and interrogate the terrible state of the north in terms of socioeconomic and human indices e.g Nigeria is a very poor country mainly due to the north.

I am a student of history and i know that northerners, in their different shades and types, are beautiful/womderful people. It is pity most of us down south do not know about the north that much, and vice versa.

Perhaps this will spur the engagement that will improve this.

The truth is that I was born and raised in Lagos.. And in the whole south west, Lagos is the only place that is okay, the other states are filthy and way poorer than most northern states..
Most northerners we call poor are wealthier than most poor people in the south.. At least by net worth, they own massive farmlands and cattles..Have you been to the rural parts of the south west? Even their cities like ado ekiti are nothing to wrote home about..

UNN do same, I suggest you use address of any school, church or organisation that you can discuss with the mgr and pick it up when it's delivered. I used a Catholic church during my time. You can use your place of worship or place of work just a locatable name/place.

What you need to do is to find a uncle or family friend who has a company.

Let him give you his company address and say you are employed by his company and he needs your transcripts for employment verification. They should also give you employment letter.

That is what 99 percent of people didv to have their personal transcripts from schools who are greedy. Dont let anyone deceive you as they dont want to tell you the truth.

These universities still want to use students as money making machine and thus you as a person have to be wise.

It is only in Nigeria that do not give students their official personal transcripts so sxchools can always make money.

How wont you have personal transcripts? How will you apply to numerous schools and scholarships? Some schools dont require hard copy.
Most schools require you to upload. Most embassies require to upload too when applying for visa.
