I beg to disagree with you on this. GMB isn't an ordinary citizen like you and me. Even before he won the last presidential election, he was not ordinary. He was an ex head of state. That has a lot of privileges.

Now as the president elect, though not sworn in yet, he has even become more extra-ordinary. He's much more than the ex head of state. He's the man all eyes are on right now. Ordinary citizens don't live in our defence headquarters. They don't receive emissaries. U.S., UK and their allies don't call ordinary citizens.

Please, let's not make excuses for Buhari. He fuccked up big time. He should expect some media houses to play opposition to his government. He should woo the press and be their darling, and then he will have easier term(s).

Una never hala.. for those saying we should kick out South African Businesses, that would add another like 20,000 workers to the equation should Shoprite, Standard Chatered Bank, MTN, Multichoice, Park and Shop and co leave Nigeria. Then let's not talk about those indirectly employed by these companies like; Service providers (Diesel, stationeries, maintenance, e.t.c).

Maybe you need to educate us your own understanding of the word clampdown because he never threaten to withdraw their license or ban their operation in the country but only suspend them from his activities pending the time the mgt of AIT will meet with his team to sort their differences. The main bone of contention is AIT's refusal to disclose the alleged sponsors of those hate documentaries for prosecution.

AIT violated ethics and lied to Nigerians so many times. AIT is not a reliable source of news or to be taken seriously. I believe though that he should have the right to decide who has access to his events as he is not yet president. When he is president he should let AIT be, AIT already has enough swords over its head to be shut down. All the lawsuits it will battle is enough to say bye bye to the station in the near future. AIT is living on borrowed time
