Naija girls only get morals when it comes to sex. How about not taking money from him until marriage? How about not being introduced to his family until after marriage? How about not being shown how much he's worth or what he earns until after marriage?
Btw, what if after marriage, he finds out you no sabi do or no dey clean down there?

Education / Re: Recession: Lagos Parents Withdraw Kids From Private Schools by adconline(m): 6:44pm On Sep 11, 2016
hectorswag:

Yes I need to state the obvious, that's why PDP has to be blamed. Everyone is criticizing the government but not one person has come out to provide a solution and say this is what & what needs to be done!

Watch this video of Kemi Adeosun explaining the steps the government is taking regarding the economy, maybe you will understand better: https:///xviH6rP8xo
She played fast and loose with the facts.
1: There is no global recession.
2 30 out of 34 sub sectors of the economy are in decline as of Q2 this year, so 88% of the economy is in recession- Service to manufacturing.
3: Even though Naira has lost its value by over 100% under PMB, prices of good haven't gone by 100%, for instance, Abuja taxis still charge N300-500 per drop, so it can't be entirely blamed for recession.
4: capita budget is 30% when they increased the overall national budget by 50% and later govt officials said that they would only implement CAPEX by 15%. You increased RECEX but reduced CAPEX. Alluding that capital spending is needed when in fact the highest budgetary allocation to a program is N500bn special intervention fund for social programs. This fund is neither allocated to any ministry nor parastatals- just PMB's kitchen cabinet.
5: Bloated cost of govt hasn't changed. Presidency budget was increaesd from N5.5tn in 2015 to N39bn in N2016. NASS allocation is more than the state budget of most states.
Ministries reduced by 50% thru merger, but cost running govt is higher, why?
6: Financial displine? She ran Ogun state finance ministry for over 4 years, how come it.'s one of the most indebted and least financially viable states? How come under her watch, the state borrowed more than it could pay back? How the state got bailed out to pay workers and pensioners?

What a product of congenital idiocy! Why are they running to US and UK if Naija is paradise??
Pre-recession, 1000 people used to travel, now in recession, only 200 people travel. Btw, when was the last time somebody in ur household traveled to UK/USA??

Truth sometimes is BITTER . I was a STRONG supporter of APC but I have not only lost hope but disappointed. Dele Mamodu has spoken but what irks me is how Nigerians understand situations. We really need to Change the way we think. May God guide our President to lead us well. Buhari is an incorruptible and disciplined person but I think something is wrong some where. He needs serious people around him. May God guide us all.
You haven't fully owned up like Momodu. PMB isn't incorruptible! He appointed pdp rogues abd accepted stolen money to finance his campaign
Appointing friends and cronies based on loyalty instead of competence is corruption itself.

Watch how the wailers will ignore the fact that this madness happened under GEJ and PDP but will hammer on PMB reportedly being slow.
We know history beyond partisan affilitian. This was a shady deal concocted and orchestra by Abacha, Etete and his cronies. It was mired in litigation because some deal brokers felt short changed and sued. Case was resolved under GEJ, so Etete and his crew were paid.
Politics / Re: $550million Abacha Loot: Mr Nnaka, US-based Lawyer Insists On 40% As Legal Fees by adconline(m): 2:36pm On Sep 11, 2016
Badgers14:

I understand your frustration about this development but let me clear things up for you a little bit....

Mr.Nnaka fighting for a $220m paycheck is no where a selfish act, if he has a contract with the government for 40% ...oh well as bad as it might sound the contract is binding.. But mind you, he didn't just walk into the ministry and get that job grin whomever signed that contract on behalf of the government is also expecting some kick backs.... This is just like typical Nigerian contract, folks hear on the radio the governor signed N2.4bn road project... The contractor most times don't get all the money.. They might even pocket N1bn and give the contractor N1.4bn.

This scenario is like either Malami or Mr. Nnaka is back tracking on the quota they previously agreed to ..."aye' someone is getting greedy.. Mind you though that Mr.Nnaka is not a big shot lawyer in Maryland ( confirm this from anyone that lives there). He is just an attorney willing to play there a game... Moreover the case is an easy win because no one is dragging the money with Nigerian government..

Also, I don't know where you reside, U.S, Nigeria, UK...e.t.c

But in U.S personal injury lawyers are not charge and bail lawyers.. Actually almost every big law firms have that department because there is money to be made there..(they don't accept every case though and they are very selective). Also there are a whole lots of big shot law firms in the personal injury arena that handles only thoses cases.

Also in the U.S, a lawyer could charge 40% ( usually standard) or 35% whatever both parties agree on or they could charge you a flat fee say $5k or $10k for case... They could also charge you per hour. Some big law firms could charge you between $1,500 - $2,000 per hour.

I might have to send you an invoice for this long lecture grin grin cool
Good luck making sense in this age of Trumpism or Buharism!!

Where is the outrage against Abacha who died over 17 yrs ago and our stolen commonwealth is found in his possession $550m?
Where is the outrage that govt officials signed a 40:60% split contract with him?
Where is the outrage that the current president absolved Abacha of stealing?
But Nigerians are allergic to logical questions.. So FG didn't do its due diligence and we're here blaming the man.

I don't see Nigerians or nairaland trying to see positves or tips from your point later they will start complaining. funny enough its the Igbo people that is supposed to benefit from these new government policies because they are the once that produce local goods in Aba. I'm still waiting for the time they would understand and see opportunities

(snooze and you loose people)

We can't be importing and not export for goodness. The US export and import that is why the dollars is stronger. common sense the governments stance is to give you the opportunity to compete within yourselves not with foreigners.
Why are displaying your contagious ignorance. US imports more than it exports but has a stronger currency than China which exports more than it imports.. Go back to ECONS 101

Opinions are like arseholes, everyone's got one. Based on what parameters are they incompetent?

Nigerians blaming all their failures and sufferings on Kemi like she was the made your economy import based. I have forgotten that 16 years of unprecedented looting and wastage happened under her watch. Even a magician and economic genius cannot save Nigeria from the recession. It doesn't take a genius to know that.
Blame all ya woes on Kemi, y'all will continue to pay for the several years of corruption and wasteful spending.
A country that pays bunch of its unproductive senators more than any other senators in the world and pays a meager 18k to the productive workers. What a joke!
What a display of willful ignorance. 16 years of misrule brought by OBJ, Atiku, Masari, Tambuwal, Amechi, Fashola, Tinubu, Fayemi, Oshiomole, Ngige, Ogbeh and etal.
Executive controls 95% of the budget and it increased budget for the presidency from N6.6bn in 2015 to N39bn in 2016- 600% increase. The president is leading his cronies on wasteful spending route

While a broke guy would feel that you're an upgrade cos he once dreamt about having a girl like u and he also envied rich guys for f_ucking girls like you.
Rich boys 'options are as wide as Atlantic Ocean while broke guys' options are limited as Keke Napep's space!!

GMB, his family, friends and cronies are all saints and God-sent to save Naija from their corrupt ways, yet he and his crew don't have any modicum of idea to turn the country around. Fela said this - my people are useless, my people are senseless and corrupt.
He budgeted N500bn for his kitchen cabinet without any ministry or NASS oversight.
He increased presidency budget from N6.6tn in 2015 to N39bn in 2016
He allocated more funds to Aso Rock Clinic than all the federal teaching hospitals in Naija, but still travels abroad to treat common cold.
This is the most soulless president Naija has ever had

Typical Naija public official who believes that evrything is good because he's corruptly enriching himself. If Naija is so good, why did he have to vacation in the UK? Why did he have to use Virgin Atlantic?
It's a fact that 80m Nigerians are poor according to a UN report.
Close to 5m have lost their jobs under PMB
2 m IDPs are getting malnourished in their camp.

Now less than 1% of Nigerians are like this guy and means that over 80% are suffering.
The reason why most wretched Nigerians support him is because that they are hopeful that one day ( God go answer their prayer) to get a political appointment in order to loot.
Did he buy £pounds at govt rate or black market rate??

You don't have to insult him. He's making sense. I live in Lagos but I'm not Yoruba. No one has ever attacked me because I'm not Yoruba. The major problem we have in Africa especially Nigeria is poor infrastructures. Yes religion and ethnic bias do exist but nothing compared to racial discrimination.
But let me state that it's relative cos there are places in the States where you will be treated well.
You still don't get it! Odds of you being killed by police, army and BH are far greater in Naija. Nigerians are OK with discrimination based on tribe, religion, state of origin, education and status. Naija is a country full of tribal, religious and political bigots.
You are just 1 out 170m and statistics will label you an outlier if you have never witnessed of any of the aforementioned.

I wonder how people keep shouting the masses are suffering. Why don't you speak for yourself, the truth is this is the time when some are making it of which I am included and I thank God for that. Though I am fully aware of the sufferings of the masses but we just have to remain focused on our own personal life and try to find every means of making it better and pray to God to lift us up and make our lives comfortable no matter how bad the economy is.
Typical Naija lazy attitude that God will solve their problems instead of rolling up their sleeves.. As a product of Naija jaundiced education, what is your understanding of " many and most)? Many Nigerians are suffering doesn't include PMB or Dangote. Using urself an example doesn't negate the fact that 80m Nigerians are still poor according to UN. You have to know the difference between anecdote and fact-based data.. Wonder why logic and common sense aren't taught in Naija
