My candid opinion and advice to Saraki, rAPC and nPDP:

Nigerian leaders are like Indian and Lebanese employers. When you work for these people and put up your best effort, they rely on you for successes, yet will look down on you. The day you resign, they come begging and offering you what they should ordinarily have done years before. Why? They are deceitful. If you fall for their bate, the following happens.

They will learn all you know and subsequently throw you out of the window. I worked briefly with Churchgate group on graduation. There was this very smart guy that was in this position, on resignation, even the MD took him out for dinner just to persuade him to remain. Unfortunately, this guy fell for the bate. The rest is story. He lost the new job and was sacked by Churchgate within same year. Of course, they already got someone to understudy him, so he was no longer relevant.

Import of above is for Saraki and the nPDP, rAPC and co. to complete their defection and crumble APC. I can imagine if he lost at the Supreme Court. Today, he would be crawling before Buhari. Your write up is quite interesting. You seem to assume that if Saraki should join the coalition, he would automatically be offered the Presidential ticket to run against Buhari! Even if he's offered the Senate Presidency, what's the guarantee the Coalition can actually oust the APC or win majority in the Senate?
