Well I will advise he renew it in the UK. Renewing passport in canada is not for the faint hearted. I am in the process of renewing mine here in Canada, the earliest available date is August. Am even thinking of gate crashing there soon, cos I need to apply for my PGWP and my passport is expiring soon.

I'm an international student in Canada, my husband is in the UK and we are about to begin his SOWP application to join me in Canada.

The issue is that his passport is expiring December 2nd. We tried renewing, but the earliest available date for his biometrics is July ending. Do you advise we go ahead with his visa application so that he can renew his passport when he gets to Canada?

Hi, congrats on your admission.

If your PhD funding covers your tuition fee and living expenses (with an excess of 2K and above), you can submit the funding letter alone. If possible, apart from the letter from your supervisor, get a letter from your department that states the tuition and stipend amount simultaneously.

If not, you can combine the funding letter and your personal bank statement.

In any case, please explain clearly in your LOE how your POF covers your annual tuition and living expenses.

I got a mail for assessment centre this afternoon. I was scheduled for Thursday 19th August but I am in Enugu and I am quite uncertain that I can make it. I called one of the HR person that sent the invite, he told me the Assessment Centre will be for just two days(Thursday and Friday).

It’s not so strict, they used google form. The questions are quite easy too.
