Thanks for the feedback. They eventually came back to say the same thing you mentioned. I however got someone to transfer the GBP 25 to them, just in case. WetinUGain: You don't need to. You will pay the differential as part of your enrolment fee, don't worry, you will be advised. |

@Fibonacci2021 I can confirm you don't have to pay to get the unconditional. Mine came in earlier in the week and all I had to do was upload the requested docs (proof of english & reference) and have my reference complete the reference mail sent to them. Ade999: Hello @Fibonacci2021
No I do not.
I suggest mailing them with your questions although they're quite slow in responding, if they respond at all. |

Hello @Fibonacci2021 No I do not. I suggest mailing them with your questions although they're quite slow in responding, if they respond at all. Fibonacci2021: Hello @Ade999. I also have a conditional offer from University of Hull and I have submitted WAEC certificate and scratch card as requested. I haven't got any feedback from them. I wonder if we have to pay to get unconditional offer. Plus do you know if University of Hull require POF to issue CAS? |

Thanks for the feedback Akanmu. I've uploaded the WAEC scratch card and reference they asked for, for about a week now but no feedback. Also, please did you have to upload physical copy of WAEC scratch card? I bought on Jumia and typed out the pin and serial number then uploaded to myhull portal. Akanmu2013: No . Just comply with other conditions requested, your unconditional offer will be issued. |

Unhonestly, you're too much. Many thanks. Lekiboboe: To the bolded, No i don't.
Though there are PGD in Accounting programs being offered in Universities that have 2 years study duration.
Based on your profile, PGD admission from a University is 50/50 , cos they kinda process their applicants the way they process Masters applicants and their requirements seems to be geared towards fresh graduates or people with less study gaps.
Look at Graduate Diploma in Accounting, Wilfrid Laurier University, Ontario for example
Admission Requirements 1) An undergraduate degree (completed or in final stages of completion);
2) Completion of all prerequisites for courses in the graduate diploma (completed or in the final stages of completion with a minimum grade of C- in each course); and
3) A minimum required average in business-related courses of B-.
As you can see, the above admission requirements is not really aligning with your profile, but its possible it might not be the same for all universities offering GRADUATE DIPLOMA in ACCOUNTING. In fact i saw a school that required interview, unofficial transcript (student copy) and Official transcipt for the Grad. Diploma admission.
With the above explanation, you can still google search some Canadian Universities offering Graduate Diploma in Accounting to see if you would stand a chance based on your profile (CGPA, Work experience, portfolio, i.e your supporting documents)
That being said, below is a list of;
PG. Dip in ACCOUNTING programs and Canadian Universities offering them Take your time and do research on them one by one most especially on the Program Overview, Admission Requirements, Program Duration Admission Intakes, Tuition amount for International Students etc.
Graduate Diploma in Accounting Western University, Ontario
Graduate Diploma - Accounting Ontario Tech University, Ontario
Graduate Diploma in Accounting Queen's University, Ontario
Graduate Diploma in Accounting Queen's University, Ontario
Graduate Diploma in Accounting University of Guelph, Ontario
Graduate Diploma in Accounting Wilfrid Laurier University, Ontario
Graduate Certificate in Professional Accounting McGill University, Quebec
Graduate Certificate in Professional Accounting McGill University, Quebec
Graduate Diploma in Advanced Accounting York University, Ontario
Graduate Diploma in Intermediate Accounting (DIAc) York University, Ontario
Graduate Diploma in Professional Accounting (G.Dip.P.A.) University of Toronto, Ontario
Professional Master's Diploma (PMDip) in Accounting Ryerson University, Ontario
Graduate Certificate in Accounting with Digital Analytics Simon Fraser University, British Columbia
Graduate Diploma in Chartered Professional Accountancy (CPA) Concordia University, Quebec
Good luck! |

I've gone through the PGCert programs but my fear is the 1 year duration for all of them. Was hoping for a 2yr program so I'll have ample time plus post stay period to settle down properly. What would you advise please? Do you have links for 2yr pgc programs since the pgd are a no go? Thank you. Lekiboboe: You are welcome.
The link i posted in my last response to you have POST GRADUATE Certificate (PG. Cert) Programs in ACCOUNTING, in fact the Accounting programs at colleges in ONTARIO (ON) listed below are all Post Graduate Certificate (PG. Cert), it is also known as ONTARIO GRADUATE CERTIFICATE
The likes of; Professional Accounting Fanshawe College of Applied Arts and Technology, London, ON
Professional Accounting Sheridan College, Oakville, ON
Professional Accounting Practice Seneca College of Applied Arts and Technology, Toronto, ON
Fraud Examination and Forensic Accounting Seneca College of Applied Arts and Technology, Toronto, ON
Professional Accounting Practice Humber College Institute of Technology & Advanced Learning, Toronto, ON

Based on your response, i would assume you only checked the one with Post-Baccalaureate Diploma
Accounting Post-Baccalaureate Diploma Thompson Rivers University, Kamloops, British Columbia (BC) https://www.tru.ca/programs/catalogue/accounting-post-baccalaureate-diploma.html
In a nutshell, based on your profile, apply for a PG.Cert in one of the Accounting programs at a College in ONTARIO

Many thanks @Lekiboboe. (not sure if you've answered related questions to this before but will appreciate your feedback) I've gone through the links and most of the Accounting programs (also looking at other Business-related post-grad programs) are Post-Baccalaureate diplomas as opposed to certificates as you advised. Please advise if I should go ahead with the PGD applications. Lekiboboe: Good afternoon honorable,

Good afternoon @Lekiboboe. Please take a look at my profile and advise what would be my best option for student visa as a single man. I have a BSc in Economics and 7 years work experience in Accounting/Auditing. Kindly advise which 2-year PG Cert or Diploma program will give me the best chance of visa approval. Thank you. Lekiboboe: While you await a response from the gurus
As an HND holder who studied Civil Engineering with over 6years experience in Construction as Project Site Engineer/Manager, a diploma shows no ACADEMIC & CAREER PROGRESSION, the Visa Application Chance going for a DIPLOMA is slim
A Post Grad. Certificate (PG. Cert) in a Civil Engineering program or related to your work experience is your best shot
PG. Cert in Construction Management -1378B (2 years program) - Available for International Students Conestoga College, Waterloo, Ontario https://www.conestogac.on.ca/fulltime/construction-management
PG. Cert in Civil Engineering, Building related programs https://www.nairaland.com/6321900/canadian-student-visa-thread-part/363#99716912
As regards whether,
"Will it be fine to consider 1year Project Management PG certificate considering the goal is to just Japa patapata lol, Saying this because of the required 2years duration of PGWP?"
Await response from the gurus on that.
Unfortunately, there are really no cheap schools in Canada, that being said Financial Readiness is very essential to study in Canada
As regards your Wife, I don't know of any Microbiology/SLT related PG. Cert program, but its like the PG.Cert programs in the link below might suffice for her
PG. Cert in Health Related programs https://www.nairaland.com/6321900/canadian-student-visa-thread-part/351#99622262
https://www.nairaland.com/6567181/canadian-student-visa-thread-part/356#103678541
By the way,
There is also something called SOWP (Spouse Open Work Permit), you might want to consider it for your wife while you the Principal Applicant (PA) go to Canada to Study.
Go through the contents in the links below for some knowledge about it & also get across to the gurus if you are interested in it.

Osota: The largest Business District of Abeokuta,Oke Ilewo was greeted with pandemonium as angry motorcyclists took to the street to protest the gruesome murder of one of their own by a reckless bullion van driver. The innocent motorcyclist was riding back home after leaving one of the phone stores of the district before he met his untimely death after been involved in a fatal auto accident where a bullion van convoy hit and killed the young man and drove off. Angry motorcyclists took to the streets to protest the gruesome murder of their own by blocking this major business district. However, police in a bid to disperse the crowd shot sporadically at the crowd, injuring many innocent passerbys and users of the road.
