Obi stated this while speaking during a Labour Party stakeholders’ meeting in Awka.

The former Anambra state governor vowed to explore all legal options in ensuring he reclaims his mandate.

Recall that Obi came third in the February 25th presidential election.

The Labour Party presidential candidate was defeated by the President-elect, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu of the All Progressives Congress, APC, and Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP.

Since the declaration of Tinubu as the winner of the poll by the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, Obi had insisted he won the election, as headed to court to contest the outcome of the poll.

You need not to have any doubt In God. You only need to realize that as you and probably others are praying and fasting for BAT not to win, so also some other people are doing same for him to win. When a judgement goes at their favour, they hail our judicial system. When their preferred candidate wins election, INEC is the best thing that has happened to Nigeria. However, if they get anything in contrary, they start raining issults and abuses on innocent public officers who are discharging their duties in the best public interest. They start calling for the sack of this or that.

We need to change our mindsets and bear it in mind that you can't be a winner at all time. We also need to know that we can't all reason in the same way, if you want/like a candidate, know that there are many people out there who might not want him/her; and they are entitled to their opinion or reasoning as you are.

It's high time we stop denigrating our institutions and people in the public service just because you couldn't get exactly what you want from them, after all, you or your group are not the only one in Nigeria and you are not more Nigerian than others.

Reports that Peter Obi in his election petition is not seeking to be declared the winner of the election is false and misleading. I’ve seen a copy of the petition. Peter Obi has prayed that he should be declared the winner. The law allows a petitioner to seek alternative reliefs.

That is what Peter Obi and Labour Party have done in their petition before the Court of Appeal. They are seeking reliefs in the alternative; either that he be declared as the winner having scored majority of lawful votes cast, or that the entire election be nullified.

There is no issue here. Those who are making issues out of the imbalanced media reports on the contents of the petition are doing so either because they’ve not seen and read the petition, or they are mischievous or they don’t understand.

Let’s see how this turns out eventually.
