They are similar, but copywriting is more relaxed and persuasive while marketing is more aggressive and evasive.

The reason that book I wrote is constantly selling without me doing any form of marketing is because I focused on copywriting in the description and the introduction of the book.

Marketing = always busy day and night trying to convince buyers to buy.

Copywriting = write once and walk away and let the copy do the marketing on your behalf even when you're sleeping.
