TOPIC: Developing Your Gifts And Potentials Through Diligence


SCRIPTURE: Wherefore I put thee in remembrance that thou stir up the gift of God, which is in thee by the putting on of my hands. 2 Timothy 1:6

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: Developing your giftings and potentials takes your life and destiny to the highest level.

It has been established that diligence is key to destiny. A lazy man has no enviable destiny. It takes hard work to go high in life. You need to deploy diligence to arrive at eminence.

Now, one area to deploy diligence is self-development.

There is a need to be diligent in the knowledge of what you do, including your gifts and potentials.

Beloved, if you are an information technologist, medical doctor, lawyer, etc., make up your mind to be diligent. Whatever be your occupation or field of endeavour, be diligent at it.



Developing your giftings and potentials takes your life and destiny to the highest level.

Paul was a diligent worker. Though he was in prison, he was still asking for books to develop himself (2 Timothy 4:13-15).

David was also a good self-developer.

See what 1 Samuel 16:18 says about him:

Then answered one of the servants, and said, Behold, I have seen a son of Jesse the Bethlehemite, that is cunning in playing, and a mighty valiant man, and a man of war, and prudent in matters, and a comely person, and the Lord is with him.



That was the extent by which David developed himself. He developed himself as an instrumentalist. In the palace, when they were looking for an instrumentalist, they looked for him.

My counsel is, make up your mind to come to a level in your profession such that if they begin to think of the topmost person, you are the first person that comes to mind.

TOPIC: Your Root – A Determinant Of Your Place In Life (Seeds Of Destiny 18 January 2022)

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: Your foundation in God determines your destination in life

It is very important to know that your foundation in God determines your destination or place in life. If you must go far in life, your foundation in God must be solid. If you want to grow tall in life, your root or foundation in God must be deep and strong.

To take root downwards is to bear fruit upwards. Genesis 19:27 says:

Your root in God determines your place in life; your foundation in God determines your destination in life. There are three categories of people on earth as far as destiny foundation or root is concerned:

People with zero root.

People with shallow root.

People with strong root.

One reason a witch can wipe out a person is because his root is not strong in God. The wind that can blow and uproot an iroko tree hardly exists. This is because an iroko tree has strong roots. Grass or shrubs can easily be blown off by wind because of their weak roots.

Today, many people are at the mercy of the circumstances of life because of the shallowness of their roots in God. Despite the promise of God to bring us prosperity and not disaster (Jeremiah 29:11), our root in God determines our place in life.



Beloved, do not live a life that is easily pluckable by the devil, witch or wizard; be rooted in God. Take root in God to bear fruits in life.

The subject of tithing is one subject that the devil attacks, especially on the social media. Many people have abandoned their destiny in the hands of public opinion. Many people do not like to listen to God through their pastor but they listen to the voice of the social media or the internet. It is not supposed to be so.

Why is tithing such a controversial subject in our world today?
i. The grip of money on the hearts of men (Matthew 6:24).



One reason why tithing is hotly debated among people today is the strong grip of money on the hearts of people. Some people pursue money to the extent of killing their fellow human beings, prostituting, telling lies, cheating and engaging in deceitful acts.

Money is a god that most people worship. So, when you begin to mention money-related matters, it becomes a sensitive thing in their minds and they either begin to listen to your message with suspicion or fight it.

ii. To attack the financial welfare of people (Malachi 3:8-10).
The second reason the devil attacks the subject of tithing is to destroy the financial welfare of the church. It is the plan of the devil to hold people bound in poverty. So, any preaching, teaching or instruction from God that enhances the financial welfare of the people and the church of God is aggressively resisted and fought by the devil.

Beloved, do not allow any devil to deprive you of your blessing. Your tithing is a pathway to your blessing.

SCRIPTURE: But we will give ourselves continually to prayer, and to the ministry of the word. Acts 6:4

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: The degree of one’s dedication to God is directly proportional to the health of his prayer and word life.

Prayer and the Word of God are two major ingredients that enhance the lifestyle of dedication to God. The degree of one’s dedication to God is directly proportional to the health of his prayer and Word life.

Throughout Scriptures, it is very clear that dedicated people are people of prayer and the Word of God. Dedicated men and women are men and women who are addicted to prayer and the Word of God. In other words, the practice of prayer and the study of the Word of God are evidences of dedication and devotion to God.

To a child of God, the ministry of Prayer and the Word of God are likened to the two legs of a person. In the realm of the spirit, one of your legs as a Christian must stand on prayer while the second leg must stand on the Word of God.

The ministry of Prayer and the Word of God is like the combination of dynamite and detonator; the kind of explosion you see physically when a dynamite and detonator are combined is what a person experiences in the spiritual realm when prayer is offered abundantly and the Word of God is studied voraciously.

To throw more light, the practice of prayer and the Word is also likened to the combination of weapon and ammunition. When you combine the ministry of prayer and the Word of God effectively, its effect in the realm of the spirit is as powerful as the effect of the combination of weapon and ammunition that releases bullets, explosives and missiles. The impact of prayer and the Word of God can dislodge and destroy the power of darkness. So, the practice of prayer and the study of the word must be combined together for a person to be an outstanding Christian and Kingdom star.

TOPIC: God Protects Those He Positions

SCRIPTURE: My God hath sent his angel, and hath shut the lions’ mouths, that they have not hurt me: forasmuch as before him innocency was found in me; and also before thee, O king, have I done no hurt. Daniel 6:22.

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: God protects those He positions. God defends those He distinguishes.

Sometime ago, an officer in the military witnessed a change of position when a serving Chief was retiring and he was doing the handing over to an incoming Chief.

The officer noticed the aimlessness, transience or temporariness of the things of this world. The out-going Chief came in his regalia, with Hilux load of his security team that went ahead of him to the occasion. But when the handing over ceremony was done, everything and everyone the outgoing Chief came with, including the armed security personnel that followed him was surrendered to the incoming Chief. The outgoing Chief stepped out of his official car and went back home with another car and minimal entourage.

The pomp and pageantry were all gone. This is to show that where authority ends, there opportunity also ends. This was a man who had loaded entourage some minutes earlier before the handover ceremony but after he handed over, he was almost all alone. This is how authority goes with security.

As it is in the physical, so it is in the spiritual. God protects those He positions. God defends those He distinguishes. If you have been distinguished by God, you will be defended by Him. If He positions you, He protects you.

Please, know that if God has placed you, no devil or man can displace or destroy you.

My counsel is, do all it takes to be placed, positioned and distinguished by God.

TOPIC: Love Is Not Rude (Seeds Of Destiny 14 January 2022)

SCRIPTURE: Doth not behave itself unseemly…1 Corinthians 13:5.

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: One characteristic of true love is that love is not rude.

The Scripture makes it clear that our God is Love (1 John 4:. And since we are created in God’s Image (Genesis 1:28), we are expected and destined to show love. Love should be our nature.



One characteristic of true love is that love is not rude.
1 Corinthians 13:5 says:
Doth not behave itself unseemly,

Love does not behave unseemly. The Living Bible version says:
… never haughty or selfish or rude…

Now, what is the implication of love not being rude?
First, love is not impolite or indecorous.
Love has decorum. It is not impolite. That is, it is polite.

Second, it means love is not unmannerly or undignified.
Love has manners. It has dignity because God is love. There are those who cannot greet anyone. They can just ignore everybody. When you greet them, “Good morning sir”, they respond by saying, “Yes!” That is, they lack manners! Love is not unmannerly or undignified.

Third, it means love does not treat people unfairly.

Love does not treat people unjustly or unfairly.

1 Corinthians 13:5, in the Bible in Basic English, says:

Love’s ways are ever fair, it takes no thought for itself; it is not quickly made angry, it takes no account of evil;

The ways of love are fair.



Fourth, it means, that love is not disrespectful or discourteous.
Love does not lack courtesy. It is not disrespectful or discourteous. It is respectful. It is courteous. It has courtesy.

When you walk in love, that is, the Love of God, you give everybody their respect, even children.

TOPIC: Walking In His Commandments (Seeds Of Destiny 13 January 2022)

SCRIPTURE: Therefore thou shalt keep the commandments of the Lord thy God, to walk in his ways, and to fear him. Deuteronomy 8:6.

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: To keep His commandments and walk in His ways is to fear Him.

The Scripture makes it clear that the whole duty of a man is to fear God and keep His commandments (Ecclesiastes 12:13). We are created to fear and reverence God.

To live in the Fear of God is to be connected to the Word of God. The fear of God is connected by living your life in line with the principles of God.

Deuteronomy 8:6 says:
Therefore thou shalt keep the commandments of the Lord thy God, to walk in his ways, and to fear him.

To keep His commandments and walk in His ways is to fear Him.

Now, one category of people as far as living by principles is concerned is:

Those whose lives are governed by fleshly pleasures and desires
To be governed by fleshly pleasures and desires is to live according to the dictates of the flesh. Once it feels good to the flesh, they go for it. These are people governed by lustful passion for a woman or for a man who is not their wife or husband. They have strong appetite for alcohol or tobacco. They can do anything to get money, even that which is not rightfully given to them.



Their flesh is in charge of their lives. They are like Esau whose appetite was stronger than his principles. Their lives are under the control of their fleshly passions. And the end of such lives is frustration in this world and in the world to come.
That will not be your portion in Jesus’ Name.

REMEMBER THIS: To keep His commandments and walk in His ways is to fear Him.

TOPIC: Do Not Be Weary (Seeds Of Destiny 12 January 2022)

SCRIPTURE: And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not. Galatians 6:9.

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: Many people become weary when their labour is not valued or appreciated.

Service is an established covenant pathway to authority in life and destiny. Service is key to the unction. Service attracts the anointing and power of God.


Psalm 89:20 says:
I have found David my servant; with my holy oil have I anointed him:

David was anointed into authority and power at the frequency of service.

However, there are many temptations that hinder effective service to God.

One of these temptations is:
The temptation of weariness in service

This temptation usually happens when people are left to do all the work alone, often with little or no encouragement. This temptation can also come as a result of delayed expectations.

Galatians 6:9 says:
And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.

Beloved, do not be tired of doing the right thing. Maybe, you are getting tired because no one notices you or appreciate what you are doing, and you say, “I have been doing this work and nobody cares. Nobody appreciates or values what I do. I am tired”. Do not be weary, and do not give up.

Many people become weary when their labour is not valued or appreciated. Or they do not see the kind of result they expect as they serve God and so they get discouraged. Their expected outcome in serving God seems not to manifest.

Sometime ago, there was a young man who gave a testimony in church. He said, one day, his mother told him, “What has your going to church done for you? What is your profit for always being in church?”

Can you imagine this kind of mother? What does she expect her son to do? To be smoking, drinking and womanising? His own mother tried to discourage him from serving God but he refused to be discouraged, and God turned his life around to the shame of the devil.

Beloved, this shows that satan can use anyone to discourage your commitment to God. Refuse to allow anyone discourage you from serving God.

For example, it was a testimony that settled the mind of Mary when she was told by an angel that as a virgin, she would bring forth a child. Initially, she doubted God’s Word and said, “How shall this be?” Then the angel said,

And, behold, thy cousin Elisabeth, she hath also conceived a son in her old age: and this is the sixth month with her, who was called barren. For with God nothing shall be impossible.
Luke 1:36-37.

It was a testimony that settled Mary’s confusion.

When David wanted to confront Goliath, Saul told him, “You are not able to confront this man. This is a man of war from his youth. You are just a little boy”. Then a testimony from the mouth of David settled Saul’s unbelief.

1 Samuel 17:32, 34-36 showed us how David gave the testimony of how he killed a bear and a lion when he was taking care of his father’s sheep. And David concluded that Goliath would also be killed like the lion and the bear.



When Saul heard this testimony, he was amazed and seemed to have said, “Ah! You mean you have killed a lion before? Go!” David said, “The God who delivered me from the lion and the bear, He will deliver me from this uncircumcised philistine”.

Beloved, I decree that God will give you a testimony that will pull down every Goliath around your life! God will give you a testimony that will change your story and the story of everyone around you, in Jesus’ Name.

SCRIPTURE: Evening, and morning, and at noon, will I pray, and cry aloud: and he shall hear my voice. Psalms 55:17

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: Progress with God is progress in life. Every step towards God in life equals a thousand steps towards destiny.



It has been established that solid spirituality is a major facilitator of destiny. Men of solid destinies are also men of solid spirituality. And men of shallow destinies are men of shallow spirituality. So, your spirituality births your destiny.

I will like you to take note of two key thoughts on spirituality.
a. Spirituality is the bedrock of destiny.
If your spirituality is solid, your destiny cannot be shallow. Solid spirituality must translate to solidity of destiny.

2 Chronicles 26:5 makes us to understand that as long as Uzziah sought the Lord, God made him to prosper.

Jotham became mighty because he prepared his ways before the Lord.

2 Chronicles 27:6 says,
So Jotham became mighty, because he prepared his ways before the Lord his God.

There is no witch or ancestral curse that is strong enough to make a mockery of your destiny if your spirituality is strong.

So, if you are with God, be with God. Be real with God.

b. You cannot go far with God and lag behind in life and destiny (Isaiah 37:31).
Progress with God is progress in life. Every step towards God in life equals a thousand steps towards destiny. The prodigal son took a step towards his father and the father took many steps towards him (Luke 15:20).

When we were growing up in the LORD, people thought that we were wasting our lives by serving God. Almost every young man at that time was partying and doing many other things but God arrested some of us very early in life, and many thought it was a waste serving God. Now, this so called “waste” is what brought us to where we are today and is still taking us to where God wants us to be.

Beloved, determine to refuse spiritual passivity and laxity. Develop a strong and solid spirituality.

REMEMBER THIS: Progress with God is progress in life. Every step towards God in life can equal a thousand steps towards destiny.

Now, the question is: what kind of decision is critical to your destiny?

i. The decision to be everything God wants you to be in this life.
This is when you make up your mind, whether the devil likes it or not, whether the ancestral or generational curses like it or not, that you will become everything God wants you to be in life.

Philippians 3:13 says:
Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before,

You must decide that you will not die a failure and you will not leave this world until you have succeeded. It is deciding to do everything God wants you to do so you can be what you are meant to be.

ii. The decision to know what it takes to be everything God wants you to be in life.

The second critical decision of life is the decision to know what it takes to become everything God created you to be.



Philippians 3:10 says,
That I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, being made conformable unto his death;

You must decide to know whatever it takes to be everything God wants you to be in life.

This is confirmed in Exodus 23:25:
And ye shall serve the Lord your God, and he shall bless thy bread, and thy water; and I will take sickness away from the midst of thee.

Serving God with all your heart this year is key to experiencing the Blessing of the LORD.

Ecclesiastes 9:10 says:
Whatsoever thy hand findeth to do, do it with thy might; for there is no work, nor device, nor knowledge, nor wisdom, in the grave, whither thou goest.

Beloved, if your hand finds God’s work to do, do it with your energy. If you find yourself in the sanctuary to work for God, do the work with all your energy. Do the service of soul-winning with urgency.

Now, how are you expected to serve God? What is the kind of service that is acceptable to God?

Service must be done in sincerity (Joshua 24:14).
Serve in truth. Do not be fake; be real. Be genuine. Be authentic. Be sincere.
Service must be done in humility (Acts 20:18-19).
Service must be done without arrogance or pomposity. People who are not humble cannot serve God.
Service must be done in uprightness and godly fear.
You cannot be cheating at your place of work, lying stealing, smoking, drinking, womanizing or ‘manising’ and then claim to serve God.

Service must be done in uprightness for it to be acceptable to God and profitable to man.



Hebrews 12:28 says:
Wherefore we receiving a kingdom which cannot be moved, let us have grace, whereby we may serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear:
Make up your mind to serve God with all your heart to access the Blessing of God.

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: It is your life that determines the quality of your relationship with God

You are welcome to the Year 2022. We are grateful to God for a successful crossover from the year 2021 into the Year 2022. This year shall deliver into your hands unimaginable results, in Jesus’ Name.


It is very important to start the year with God; and one subject that draws a person closer to God is prayer. There is a need to prioritize prayer in your life this year.
Now, understanding is key to actualization. What is not understood can never be actualized.

This means, to pray effectively, there is a need to understand what prayer is all about.
What then is prayer?

Prayer is a platform for communion between God and man.
…our father which art in heaven… Matthew 6:9

Prayer is a place where the relationship between God and man is serviced. It is your prayer life that determines the quality of your relationship with God. Prayer is the place where we can be naked before God and not ashamed; a place where we can give out our secrets and have no fear; the place where we would not be judged for being in need.



There are people who think you are a sinner just because you could not pay your house rent. They judge you based on your deficiency but at the place of prayer, you are open before God without any form of condemnation no matter who you are.

Prayer is the place where a man gets to know and interacts with the God he serves. Prayer is the communication that lubricates the relationship between God and man; it is the communication flow that cements that relationship.

SCRIPTURE: Now after the death of Joshua it came to pass, that the children of Israel asked the Lord, saying, Who shall go up for us against the Canaanites first, to fight against them? And the Lord said, Judah shall go up: behold, I have delivered the land into his hand. Judges 1:1, 2

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: You cannot carry praise and end a loser.

In the journey of life, people encounter different phases, and they wonder how to approach it and come out in triumph. Our anchor Scripture gives us a clue – it says that Judah shall go up first. And Judah means praise. So, in every new phase of your life, let Praise go up first.
Now, our praise will achieve four things at every junction of our lives:

Praise is key to existence on the frontline.

You cannot carry praise and come last. Confront every new phase of your life with praise and let God know that you are not ready to come last.

Praise is key to conquest and victory in life.

The children of Israel asked God, Who shall go up for us against the Canaanites first? And God said, Judah. That implies that Judah will be victorious; he will confirm the defeat of the adversary. So, our praise is key to our victory in every new season. You cannot carry praise and end a loser.
Praise is key to possession.
In our anchor scripture, God said, I have delivered the land into his hand. That is, I have delivered the land into Judah’s (Praise’s) hand. So, the things that belong to us can be delivered into our hands by our praise. You cannot know praise and be empty-handed.
Praise is key to a successful beginning.

The children of Israel were wondering how to step into the phase they were entering? And God said, offer praise. So, to start well is to start with praise, and to start well is to end well.

For as long as a man continues to look up to another man, his frustration continues.

SCRIPTURE: Thus saith the Lord; Cursed be the man that trusteth in man, and maketh flesh his arm, and whose heart departeth from the Lord. For he shall be like the heath in the desert, and shall not see when good cometh… Blessed is the man that trusteth in the Lord, and whose hope the Lord is. Jeremiah 17:5-7

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: For as long as a man continues to look up to another man, his frustration continues.

There are so many people in church for donkey years who are wondering why nothing has changed in their lives. The truth is, there are secrets to succeeding with God that many Christians in this category are either not yet aware of or are not putting into practice.

Today we shall be looking at some of those secrets.

Now, what does it take for a person to succeed or prevail with God?

1. To succeed with God, you must look away from fellow man. God cursed any man who put his trust in a fellow man. It is not a blessing for a person to put his trust in another man. For as long as a man continues to look up to another man, his frustration continues. For as long as Rachael looked up to her husband for a child, the barrenness continued (Genesis 30:1-2). And who we look up to is manifested in the way we talk and the way we live or act.

2. To succeed with God, you must refuse to rely on your own strength. You must allow God to fight for you. Every time you take your battle in your own hands, you have taken that battle out of the hands of God.

3. To succeed with God, you must allow Him to have your heart (Jeremiah 17:5-7). Do you want to see the glory, the anointing and the manifestation of God like never before? Then, never allow anything under heaven to take your heart away from God.

Beloved, if you have made up your mind that failure, frustration, and struggle must stop in your life, then you must look away completely from man and look up to God.

Remember this: For as long as a man continues to look up to another man, his frustration continues.

The Blood is our weapon of escape from enemy captivity and imprisonment.

SCRIPTURE: And the blood shall be to you for a token upon the houses where ye are: and when I see the blood, I will pass over you, and the plague shall not be upon you to destroy you, when I smite the land of Egypt. Exodus 12:13

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: The Blood is our weapon of escape from enemy captivity and imprisonment.

A major weapon of victory for Christians is the Blood of Jesus. The kingdom of darkness cannot withstand the power in the Blood of Jesus.

Some people say that Christianity is a bloody religion – we talk about the Blood of Jesus all the time. Oh yes! This is because the foundation of Christianity was laid in the Blood of the Founder, Jesus Christ. There can be no Christianity without the Blood of Jesus.

So, today, we are looking at the Power of the precious Blood of Jesus. What is the power of the Blood of Jesus?

1. The Blood of Jesus is our weapon of exemption from enemy plagues and destructions. The reason why the destruction that is going on around the world is not permitted to land on you is the Blood of Jesus. …and when I see the blood, I will pass over… (Exodus 12:13). Coronavirus has to pass over, other diseases, calamities, disasters, and premature death must pass over.

2. The Blood of Jesus is our weapon of escape from enemy captivity and imprisonment (Zechariah 9:11-12). You come out of enemy prison houses by the weapon of the Blood of Jesus. You are coming out any prison the enemy has kept you – prisons of addiction, captivity, limitation, or any other form of imprisonment that you find yourself by the Blood of Jesus in Jesus Name.

3. The Blood of Jesus is our tonic of Divine health and Divine life.

Connection to the life of God happens by the Blood of Jesus (John 6:54-57). That is, you connect life, health and vitality from the Blood of Jesus (Leviticus 17:11). So, connecting the Blood of Jesus through the Holy Communion is connecting His sickless, vibrant, quality, and abundant life.

What you have may look like nothing until God moves on it.

SCRIPTURE: And Elisha said unto her, What shall I do for thee? tell me, what hast thou in the house? And she said, Thine handmaid hath not any thing in the house, save a pot of oil. 2Kings 4:2

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: What you have may look like nothing until God moves on it.

Our anchor scripture is an episode that resulted from the story of a prophet that I believe failed to practice the covenant. Hence, he ended in debt and left liabilities behind for his family (Deuteronomy 28:12).

Now, when this prophet’s widow met with prophet Elisha who had the answer to her misery, the question Elisha asked her was ‘What have you in the house?’ Today, we are going to look at three key thoughts on this life-changing question.

1. Everyone has something in the house. This is the meaning: There is no empty human being on the face of the earth. You may be saying pastor, but you are talking about a house. Yes! You are a house. We are God’s building; our body is the temple of the Holy Ghost (1 Corinthians 6:19-20). And Elisha was saying in essence that every single house has something inside. Perhaps you have been lied to by the devil that everyone else is gifted but you are not. This is to encourage you – there is something in you.

2. Until what is in your house is revealed, most times, it is not discerned.

There was something in the house that this woman never knew was there until it was pointed out. Moses had a rod in his hand; He did not know the implication of that rod until it was revealed (Exodus 4:2-3).

3. What you have may look like nothing until God takes it over.

What you have may look like nothing until God moves on it. Five loaves and two fishes were taken over by the Master and their potentials exploded.

Beloved, pay closer attention to what you have.

SCRIPTURE: Looking diligently lest any man fail of the grace of God; lest any root of bitterness springing up trouble you, and thereby many be defiled; Hebrews 12:15

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: The seed or root of bitterness will produce the fruit of trouble.

Some years ago, my wife and I visited a woman who was dying of a terminal disease, cancer to be precise. While we were in the process of praying for her, the Holy Spirit said to us, “Ask her to forgive” And we told her, “You need to forgive someone”. Later we found out that it was her husband. She said, “Oh! I can’t forgive that man.” “What happened?” We asked. She said she and the husband built their home together and also acquired many other properties together, and then the man kicked her out and brought in another girl to inherit her sweat. Imagine that! The man kicked the woman out and brought in a girl to enjoy the sweat of the wife of his youth. This woman got so bitter that she found it difficult to forgive the man. She did not recover.

Beloved, if the devil wants to trap your life, he organizes offences for you so you can be trapped in bitterness. It will never be your portion, in the Name of Jesus Christ.

Our anchor scripture makes it clear that bitterness troubles the system. The seed or root of bitterness will produce the fruit of trouble – systemic trouble. There are destructive hormones, corticotropin-releasing hormones that come into activity when the system is filled with negative emotions – bitterness, anger, and depression. These are devastating hormones.

Beloved, bitterness is a troubler; it is a destroyer. So, refuse to be trapped in bitterness no matter the level of offence.

Remember this: The seed or root of bitterness will produce the fruit of trouble.

EXCELLENCE – A HIGHWAY TO PROMINENCE

Not everyone speaks and people listen; but when you excel, you have a voice – you speak and people listen.

SCRIPTURE: Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid. Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven. Matthew 5:14,16

It has been confirmed that God is not willing for any soul to be lost (2 Peter 3:9). It is not the will of God for the rich, the poor, and the wicked to perish. Every lost sinner in hell is an irreplaceable loss to God. For every soul that is lost in hell, something inside God is irreplaceably lost. Why? Because God breathed into man the breath of life for man to become a living soul; and every sinner you see has an investment of God’s breath, His Image and Likeness in them.

Now, it is important to note that the rich and influential people are part of what we call the un-reached people group. You can easily preach to your classmates, neighbours in your neighbourhood, etc. but when was the last time you sat a governor, president, senator, or billionaire down and preached to him? So, the rich, the influential, the people on top are highly unreached with the gospel. But they are not permitted to be lost. And because the right people don’t have access to them, the wrong people connect them with the occult, diabolism and witchcraft. But there is an answer. That is why we are here.

Now, how do we reach these people and bring them to the Kingdom so they don’t get lost in hellfire?

They can be reached at the frequency of excellence and distinction. It takes the excellent to reach the prominent. Excellence or distinction in life gives a person both voice and influence on the earth. Not everyone speaks and people listen; but when you excel, you have a voice – you speak and people listen (Ecclesiastes 9:16). It takes people who are up to talk to others who are also up.

Beloved, get angry with mediocrity and ask God for help to do what it takes to take your place at the top by excellence.

THE COMPELLING FORCE OF EXCELLENCE

Your excellence is more evangelistic than your utterance.

SCRIPTURE: Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid. Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven. Matthew 5:14, 16

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: Your excellence is more evangelistic than your utterance.

The scripture makes it clear to us that God wants us to stand out in life. The mountain, not the valley, is our destiny. The top, not the pit, is our place (Deuteronomy 28:13). The front is our place, not the back.

Now, why is God interested in making us to excel?

1. Excellence/distinction in life brings glory to God. When we stand out in what we do, when we become the reference figure in our field, God is glorified (Matthew 5:14, 16).

2. Excellence/distinction in life compels the ungodly to come to the knowledge of our God (Isaiah 60:1-3). Your excellence is more evangelistic than your utterance. People are more convicted by your manifestation than by your declaration. One result will preach a thousand messages. One testimony is worth a thousand sermons. For you to influence people in authority and around you, you need to be up. It is easier for the boss to tell his driver, “Follow me to church” than for the driver to say, “Boss, follow me to church.” except he wants to be sacked.

Beloved, every effort to go up is not a waste; keep at it. Do all you can to go up, not just for your sake, but for the sake of the Kingdom and the Gospel.

I declare that the anointing that will take you up is coming on you now, in Jesus’ Name.

FROM HOPE TO FAITH

Behave it until you become it.

SCRIPTURE: Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. For by it the elders obtained a good report. Hebrews 11:1-2

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: Behave it until you become it.

Faith is one subject that is often misunderstood by many Christians. Some think that it belongs to a particular group or denomination. Some think that faith belongs to some super spiritual Christians. Others think that it is just believing anything blindly. No, faith is not baseless belief.

What then is faith?

Faith is in place when the revelation of the Word of God in the heart of a person produces a conviction that is strong enough to result in corresponding actions.

The Bible says, FAITH is the substance of things HOPED for, the evidence of things not seen.

What does that mean to you? Hope is something that is in the future, but faith tries to bring it into the present.

Now, let me show you the process of the graduation of hope to faith.

1. The Word of God gives birth to hope (Psalms 119:49,114; Psalm 130:5). For example, when you have symptoms of a sickness or a diagnosis, and you read the Word and the Word tells you that He took your infirmities (Matthew 8:17), you will realise that you can’t die in that sickness. So, there is hope that you are not going to die. The Word of God is the reason why you are not permitted to live a hopeless life. Hope is a foundation for faith; someone must be hopeful before he or she can be faith-filled.

2. Hope births joy (Romans 5:2, Romans 15:13).

3. Hope leads to faith-filled actions. You give substance to that hope that you got from the Word of God through corresponding actions. For instance, refusing to lie on the bed for an affliction. You behave it until you become it.

Beloved, there can be no real faith without true hope. That is why hope must be on ground before faith can be concretized.

Please take note of this: to be wordless is to be hopeless and to be hopeless is to be faithless.

Remember this: Behave it until you become it.

Anywhere wisdom is on ground, wealth is at home.

SCRIPTURE: So King Solomon exceeded all the kings of the earth for riches and for wisdom.1 Kings 10:23

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: Anywhere wisdom is on ground, wealth is at home.

Scriptures confirm that there is a relationship between wisdom and wealth. Anywhere wisdom is present, wealth is at home.

We can see this in the life of Solomon.

1 Kings 10:23-25 says,

So king Solomon exceeded all the kings of the earth for riches and for wisdom, and all the earth sought to Solomon to hear his wisdom, which God has put in his heart. And they brought every man his present, vessels of silver and vessels of gold and garment and spices, horses and mules a rate year by year.

It is important to know that as people came to Solomon to connect his wisdom, they came with wealth as presents. So, anywhere wisdom is on ground, wealth is at home. Wealth travels in the direction of wisdom. Supernatural wealth will follow supernatural wisdom.

Daniel 2:20 says,

Daniel answered and said blessed be the name of God for ever and ever for wisdom and might are his, and he changeth the time and season, he removeth kings and seteth up kings, he giveth wisdom unto the wise and knowledge unto them that know understanding, he gives wisdom.

God gave Daniel wisdom and what was the outcome of that wisdom?

Daniel 2:48 says,

Then the king made Daniel a great man and gave him many great gifts and made him ruler over the whole province of Babylon and chief of the governor over the wise men of Babylon.

Daniel the wise man ended as Daniel the wealthy man.

Beloved, my counsel is, make up your mind to connect the Wisdom of God. Always ask God for the grace to be like Jesus Who is the Wisdom of God personified (1 Corinthians 1:24).
