PoliticsRe: We will Shut Down Nigeria — NLC Declares by Adegbem02: 1:34pm On Aug 29, 2024
DeLaRue:
The government needs to find a legal way to clip the wings of this NLC.

The police invited the man. No big deal. If you or you organisation has committed a crime under the law, the police can prosecute you - again, no big deal.

The NLC thinking they're bigger than the law just shows how weak the present government is.

Under Mr Buhari, ASUU went on strike for 8 months. The man did not bat an eyelid and refused to pay their salary during the 8 months. Nobody begged ASUU before they returned to work and even after going back to work, Mr Buhari still refused to pay them.

The current President generously paid 4 months out of the 8 months despite the fact that under the 'no work, no pay' rule applied by Mr Buhari, they were not entitled to the 8 months salary.

The current government has also settled the minimum wage with NLC.

Yet, every little thing, the NLC threatens to shut the country down.

Could they try this under Mr Buhari. Absolutely not.
The way you write, I know it appropriate to say sir, but sir you no get sense

All terrorist sympathizers, please take a moment to put yourselves in Israel's position. Should they sit idly by and hope the terrorists change their ways? Do you really expect them to turn the other cheek in the face of aggression? I don't understand why anyone would blame Israel in this situation instead of first condemning the terrorists who clearly initiated the conflict.

PoliticsRe: $6.2M CBN Loot, So Godwin Emiefele Was Innocent Afterall? What A Shame? by Adegbem02: 3:19pm On Jun 21, 2024
What many of us fail to do is conduct our own investigations, get to know the allegations and the alleged individuals, and understand what was done, how it was done, and the underlying reasons. The way allegations are often presented by the media, especially in Nigerian politics, can be influenced by the mischief of a few individuals.

I don't know the whole case, but from what I do know, it appears that the governor took actions to curb money laundering, election rigging, and other financial irregularities. I'm not suggesting that he didn't have selfish motives or that his methods were entirely appropriate.

However, one thing is abundantly clear: Tinubu and the APC did not want this policy to succeed due to their own selfish reasons, and they are now trying to punish him for it.

So this is the way to go, then why aggitating for increasement in workers salary or we should be agitating in reductions of fuel, gas, diesel and floating of naira, or how una dey take reason, if eventually they increase the minimum wages and price of things go high then the increasement is useless then, my brother dey try think we'll before you condemned people's comments
Na so, brother thinker, those things you mentioned reached there normal price after the government removed external influence, the same way, our Senators, judges level up there salary to meet reality.
Let civil servants collect what due to them, let artisan up there fee for there various service, when everything balanced out. All this inflation and economic terms are secondary, let people live a decent life first

PoliticsNigerian Plight: Nigeria Stands At A Crossroads. by Adegbem02(op): 8:19am On May 13, 2024
Here's how we might navigate the path ahead:

1. The Iron Fist: Imagine a leader, unyielding yet fiercely patriotic, seizing the reins of power. They dismantle the old order, rebuilding from the ground up. Corruption crumbles, systems are reborn. It's a gamble, but could a benevolent dictator be the shock therapy Nigeria needs?

2. Shattered Dreams, New Beginnings: What if we part ways? Each major ethnic group forges its own destiny, seeking a fresh start. It's a painful separation, but perhaps it's the only way to escape the endless cycle of conflict and stagnation.

3. Beyond Words: We've talked about restructuring for ages. Now is the time to act. Let's decentralize power, empower regions, and build a nation where every voice is heard. It's a complex process, but it could be the key to unlocking Nigeria's true potential.

A Glimmer of Hope? There's a fourth option, a faint spark in the darkness. What if Nigerians, united by a shared vision, rise up and demand change? It's a long shot, but history is full of unexpected turns.

The future is uncertain. But one thing is clear: the status quo cannot continue. It's time to choose our path, to shape our destiny. The fate of Nigeria hangs in the balance.
RomanceRe: Which One Do You Want? [Pic] by Adegbem02: 8:10am On May 13, 2024
There are two possible solutions
1. Let a hardcore (and hopefully lover of Nigeria) dictatorship government take over, overhaul the whole situation; cos this time it from top to bottom, the situation can be solved.

2. Let disintegrate Nigeria, each major ethnic group, looking for ways to start afresh and we wish each other good luck

This is just been hopeful, so not really a solution
3. Let seriously start implementing restructuring and leave the talking phase

BusinessRe: How Binance P2P Contributes To The Plummeting Naira Value by Adegbem02: 6:40pm On Feb 21, 2024
Feldie:
they don't cancel, they wait till the timer runs out. I have seen this multiple times. Some even negotiate. You are still mixing too many things together. There are real buyers on Binance that can buy 20m, but the top ads with highest rates mostly don't even respond and just wait till timer runs out. You can can get 100% completion rating by selling small amounts and speculating with the higher amounts. As long as you don't cancel and let the timer runs out it doesn't affect your rating or ability to trade.

Even if CBN makes dollars available it won't affect the people going to Binance to speculate as those people aren't looking for dollars to carry out business with but are rather looking to make quick profit. You can't USDT for anything you need dollars from banks to do.
Can you please now explain how dollar comes down, if this p2p guys have a miraculous ways of pushing the dollar up,
Because those high price speculation on the p2p never disappear atleast you will see an average of 10 of them any time any day
I have seen dollar loosing upto 500, 600 naira in a bearish trend, why is there stragegy not stopping the bearish run?
BusinessRe: How Binance P2P Contributes To The Plummeting Naira Value by Adegbem02: 6:30pm On Feb 21, 2024
You do put up a good explanation and all you said actually happens on binance p2p, but that is not the cause of the naira free fall, I wish they ban binance and am not saying this because I don't have anything (cos I do have a stake there), but I will really want to proof to you how foolish you people are (op and his goons), and because you can't actually stop binance and p2p in Nigeria, our policy, our systems and structure is too weak to achieve it

Nigerian are dump, one incompetent politicians went on national tv to inaccurately prounce the name binance and how it actually works and we all left the real issue to be killing consequence of a failed stated
