Women don't take men for granted, it should be girls because womanhood implies maturity which makes a woman different from a girl. Many ladies at behaving like a girl claiming to be a woman. A woman commands respect while a lady demands attention, this explain why girls who have personality disorder and self-esteem issues fall for a player and they are not able to stand up to him to communicate values they possess and reflect it. Hence, that's why girls are taken for granted and immature ladies are never taken seriously by responsible men.

Serious client don't tell a designer it takes 10 minutes to design a logo, those that do that don't understand the value of good design which affects the image of their business on the long run because of quick fix solution. If u feel it's a 10 minutes job or you are the one that originated the concept, then get a system and do it yourself.
To all professional designers and newcomers, don't ever tolerate micro-managing from a client, he is not the art director, a client should trust you to do a good job when he hired you. You have the right to choose to work for a client or not

I am very sorry to say this. Your sense of reasoning and judgement is very irrational. Every story has a two side, from the reply Taiwo laid down, he shows he is more matured by not spilling what he saw even though there is still more. Two things will happen, it's either they agree or treat you like an outcast. No one can force you to do something if you don't consent to it. In general, there is nothing like use and dump. I understand your point. The truth of the matter is no one can manipulate your emotions if you don't accede to it. No matter how someone pretend, something will always sell the person out provided you are observant. That's why Intelligent reasoning and logic first before emotions..... in other words, use your head first before taking a binding decision.

There is a post about Lady Dming or chatting a guy first. The truth is that many of us don't understand value and relationship, we always look for means to exploit each other.
From my observations so far, I will advice guys no to bother and get themselves worked up because of a Lady. What will be will be, If things will fall in place, a step at a time except you have hidden agenda.

I understand your predicament, guys have messed you up a great deal that's why you are using that stereotype. But I will implore you to check yourself and what you are doing wrong. Also get your priority right. Not all men are the same.

As a designer, you are to request for 50-70% payment before commencement and presentation of any design concept. This is done to protect you and your ideas, also to compensate for the time put into it. This advice is for good designers who have good design skills and experience. Amateurs should learn the principle of design. Also never send the raw file of your design without full payment. Put your portfolio together and pitch your self well. Clients who appreciate the value of good designs will patronise you. Never go below standard and avoid situations where a client will think he/she is doing you a favour.
