BREAKING: Buhari Declares Tenure Extension Of APC National Chairman, Others As Illegal

President Muhammadu Buhari has declared the tenure extension of the All Progressives Congress (APC) National Chairman and other elected state officials as illegal.

The President made this known on Tuesday while addressing members of the National Executive Committee of the Party in Abuja.

He explained that after due consultation, it had become imperative to overturn the resolution of the February 27 NEC, which allowed the extension of the tenure of Mr Odigie-Oyegun by one year on the ground that it contravened Article 17 Sub-section 1 of the Party constitution which recommends a 4-year tenure for all elected officials.

President Buhari further stated that the tenure extension contravened the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria which requires elected officials to present themselves for re-election after four years.

He, therefore, stressed the need for members to avoid constitutional infractions which could make the Party vulnerable to litigations.

TSTV illegal Viewing Brouhaha By May Ubeku

A lot has been going on behind the scene to ensure TSTV doesn't become a reality. From internal issues that are not meant for public consumption to issues of letters and screen shots against TSTV flying all over the Internet.

While TSTV Africa was test-running their signals with the free promo decoders distributed just 3 days ago, hackers waited for when it was time for the Arsenal match, took down TSTV signal for 30 minutes and inserted the " You are viewing Bein Sports content illegally via TSTV Nigeria" and sent it online for circulation. The entire team was frustrated and awake all night to figure out where the hack was coming from.

So BEIN Sports even know the location and company airing their channels illegally and cannot Institute a law suit? THINK!!

First, it was a disclaimer letter from BEIN Sports that was circulated last month and now this viewing phony message when TSTV finally went live. Why TSTV sports channels? Who is only interested in TSTV sports channels if not detractors? Are other TSTV channels not showing? Why the BEIN sport channel? They even told BEIN Sports that TSTV don't have a license to operate in Nigeria set. That they have been blacklisted by the NBC. That's the height of desperation. Let's be wise.

Oh well... TSTV detractors should know one thing, that no matter the pressure and online propaganda to bring down TSTV with regards to BEIN Sports, the management of TSTV would never disclose the agreement they have with BEIN Sports because it's a non-disclosure agreement. They won't breach their part of the agreement. Know this!

If TSTV is airing BEIN illegally, BEIN Sports should make the move and sue. Let BEIN announce it on their official website and social media handles. BEIN Sports is a Qatar company and they have the all money and resources to fight TSTV. So I don't understand why the illegal messages aren't coming from their official channels but from some Nigerian social media handles. Funny...

Therefore, if you don't see these messages on their website, then disregard letters, screen shots and fake Qatar numbers on display in a time when anybody can have a UK phone number and the person is actually chilling somewhere in Ikotun. Phew!

Finally, Nigerians should know that the management of TSTV isn't selling decoders so you can't say they are defrauding you rather their decoders are FREE for now. So if the business crumbles at this early stage of take off, the young CEO of TSTV, Echefu Bright has nothing to lose. He would move on to another business and recover his loss from there. He's been doing well with his Africa Health Television Channels. Nigerians are the ones who have everything to lose as an alternative entertainment platform and job opportunities would be lost!

Everyone working at Green Glass House would be sacked. That your friend, relative, spouse or neighborhood that would have been employed by TSTV or as an accredited dealer would lose that opportunity of having an income or additional income. Some of you who would later want to provide program contents will never get to see that opportunity . Let wisdom guide us. Every company that adds an additional number to the number of employed Nigerians is important even if it's akara selling business, let's support it.

Whatever digital television services provider you want to stay with, do so without grudges and support more alternatives to spring up and give you more value for your money.

Salute to the entire team at TSTV. Well done and good luck.

Please note that the names of all donors are fully indicated on the crowd funding website www.fundlautech.com (except express instruction to remain anonymous is given). We urge the general public to please visit the website to check their names. We hereby make an open call to any member of the public who made a donation and cannot find his/her name on the website to raise an alarm (please note that the update is as at September 28, 2017). We wish to publicly thank all the various groups, societies, associations and even a church who donated to this noble initiative. We were very humbled when we received a call that the Fountain of Praise & Power Baptist Church in Ogbomoso raised an offering for this initiative.

It will be trite to mention at this juncture that all expenses incurred on this initiative (fuel, transport, logistics, T-shirts, website, press, hotels, printed materials and other out-of-pocket expenses) have been funded solely by us. No one is sponsoring us neither are we affiliated to any political party. We have not taken a single dime from the donation to fund any expense.

BRIEF ON OTHER fundLAUTECH EFFORTS
Since the last update, we have expanded the scope of our consultations and visited the Governor of Osun State, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola to brief him on our efforts. We also visited the new Chairman of the Governing Council of LAUTECH, Prof Oladapo Afolabi.

Below is a synopsis of the various activities and efforts of the #fundLAUTECH team:
1. Publication of 2 infographs explaining the implications of continued closure of the University.
2. Release of a jingle/musical produced free of charge by Primepath Studios, Lagos.
3. Appearance on TVC breakfast show to discuss Lautech and the initiative.
4. Various celebrity endorsements by Kunle Afolayan, Nosa, etc.
5. Release of a video by Fadda the Grammarian.
6. Abuja Open Exchange Programme covered by TVC and AIT.
7. Interview on Greetings 105.7 FM, Abuja
8. Radio appearance on Brekete Family anchored by the Ordinary President, Dr Ahmad Isah on Human Rights Radio 101.1FM, Abuja.

fundLAUTECH COLLABORATIVE EMPOWERMENT PROGRAMME
As part of our wholesale strategy towards addressing the issue of the prolonged strike/closure of LAUTECH, we collaborated with several companies who were willing to assist in training Lautech undergraduates who have been idle for over one year. We are sincerely grateful to these individuals and companies that assisted in granting the fundLAUTECH interns the opportunity to sharpen their skills, learn a new vocation and prepare for the future. Special thanks to Royal Niddle, Red Projects, IfeCrystals, Shelter Electronics and Unique Cakes. The training and internships were done free of charge. No one paid any amount for the placements. May God continue to bless your business concerns.

We are very grateful to the general public for your trust and we thank all those who donated. We must not fail to acknowledge the efforts of Lautech Defenders, a group of young and vibrant undergraduates who gave their best in pushing this initiative. We understand the pessimism of those who couldn't get involved due to the general distrust and lack of integrity in our society but we hope that with this effort, we can begin a process of gradual restoration of public accountability. We acknowledge our inability to raise N1b (One billion Naira) as we previously canvassed. It was not for lack of trying. We are however glad that we succeeded in raising a national awareness about the Lautech impasse. We consider this initiative a breakout success especially when you consider the public debate this generated.

With the resolution of this crisis in view, we are transiting to the endowment phase. In a subsequent update, we shall unveil the specific endowments after due consultation with the stakeholders.

God bless you.

BusinessGomyway Closes Business by adeoluphilips(op): 11:02am On Sep 27, 2017
The CEO and the entire management team of Nigerian online and on-demand transportation services have sent notifications to their customers so as to inform them that they are shutting down the business. The letter read;

I hope you are doing well. It is with deep regret that I write this email to let you know that GoMyWay will be closing down. In this email, I'll let you know why we are closing as well as offer an alternative service. I hope you take a few minutes to read.

In 2015, I was hired as the CEO, via recommendation by my previous employers, to run GoMyWay. The plan by its Shareholders/Investors was to run a free service for a year or two, and focus on growing the user-base.

Over the last 2 years, the team put in time and effort to growing the business and building a trusted ridesharing community. We went from less than 1000 members in the first few months to 12,000+ members; 106,630 rides offered and rides shared across 16 states. However, it does take a lot of resources to run this business and the initial plan was no longer sustainable. The Shareholders/Investors came to a conclusion to shut down operations and close the business as there were no funds to invest further.

I want to specially thank you for your support. I believe GoMyWay had the best community and I can write a few pages about it. We had users who spread the word about us even when we had no referral codes to give in return. I remember when Yinka visited a member and he had mentioned how everyone in his office now uses GoMyWay through him. We had users who were always available to share amazing ideas with us. It's no surprise that the second highest acquisition channel was referrals/word of mouth.

It does break our hearts to end this wonderful community and we did try to keep it going, but the team has decided to keep the platform running till the end of October. From today, the signup page will no longer be accessible and customer support would also be winding down.

I'm so proud of everyone that worked on GoMyWay. The business was blessed to have the most dedicated and hardworking staff who put in more than their time into this. Some of our users have come in contact with our staff, so they know I am not exaggerating. Thank you Yinka, Favour, Segun, Ope, Ayo, Busayo, Doyin and all the contract staff and interns that worked with us. God bless you immensely.

RE: LAUTECH UNIONS SUIT AGAINST FORENSIC AUDITING SHOCKING, ILL-CONCEIVED: ANOTHER LIE AND DIVERSIONARY
The Joint Action Committee of Senior Staff Association of Nigerian Universities (SSANU) and Non Academic Staff Union (NASU) LAUTECH Ogbomoso attention had been drawn to a devastating publication by the Osun state commissioner for information and strategy that the University unions suit the governments to stop the almighty forensic auditing of the University accounts as being recommended by the visitation panel set up to investigate and find lasting solution to the crisis that has crippled the institution.
The Joint Action Committee resolved to reply and make rejoinder to the misrepresentation of facts and blatant falsehood being peddled by the government agents in order to put the record straight so that the public will be opportuned to base their judgement and sympathy on the fact of the issue rather than the lies and cheap propaganda being sponsored by the same government that announced publicly recently that is incapacitated financially but turn around now to inform the public that the unions were holding his hands to do the needful. What a turn of event!
Firstly, we want to remind the government and the public that Ladoke Akintola University of Technology LAUTECH Ogbomoso was a creation of law therefore the law that established the University had expressly stipulated the roles and functions of each of its organs, the roles and functions of the visitors (Oyo and Osun Governments) inclusive.
Based on the foregoing, the law of the University does not allow any of its organs to usurp and intervene on the powers and functions that do not belong to it, the visitors inclusive. Meanwhile, the University law empowers the Governing Council to appoint the external auditor to audit the University accounts and finances not the visitors (Oyo and Osun state Governments) and anything short of this is purely an act of rascality and abuse of power of office which is against the principle of rule of law and integrity. You may wish to refer to section 8 sub section 4 of the Ladoke Akintola University of Technology Law of 1990 as amended for further confirmation.
In addition to the above, the recommendation of the visitation panel led by respectful SAN, Chief Wole Olanipekun also clarified this issue in the main report of the panel, VOL.I, page 89. The panel agreed in consonance with the provision of the University law as stated above that appointment of an external auditor to audit the University finances should be done by the LAUTECH Governing Council. So, where did Mr. Commissioner for information and strategy in Osun state got his information?
Arising from the above provision of the University law and the recommendation of the visitation panel, the Joint Action Committee of SSANU and NASU LAUTECH Branch approached the state High Court, Ogbomoso Judicial Division, when it was clearly manifested and seen that the two owners states governments were hell bent on usurped, disobeyed and disregarded the simple provision of the University law, for interpretation of the said provision so that the University autonomy through its Edict would not be eroded by the actions of the two owners state governments. Why the crying!
Thank you
JOINT ACTION COMMITTEE, LAUTECH OGBOMOSO

MY FATHER, EVANGELIST JOB ALABI- WHO SAID HE DIED?
GLORY TO GOD!
MY FATHER, EVANGELIST JOB ADEGBOYEGA ALABI DID NOT DIE, HE “ONLY CHANGED HIS ADDRESS”. A FEW HOURS AGO ONE OF THE MEN RAISED BACK TO LIFE THROUGH HIS MINISTRY SAID; “EVANGELIST JOB ADEGBOYEGA ALABI COULD NOT HAVE DIED, HE PRAYED FOR ME TO BE RAISED BACK TO LIFE IN 1988 AND I AM STILL ALIVE” HE CONTINUED; “THE OTHER MAN RAISED AROUND THAT PERIOD (1986) WHO WAS BROUGHT DEAD ALL THE WAY FROM SOKOTO AND WAS EVEN SMELLING WHEN HE WAS BROUGHT, IS NOW A CHARTERED ACCOUNTANT, HALE AND HEARTY. HE COULD NOT HAVE DIED”.
YES, EVANGELIST JOB ADEGBOYEGA ALABI DID NOT DIE, HE ACTUALLY DIED OVER 2000 YEARS AGO WHEN CHRIST DIED AND HE WAS RAISED TOGETHER WITH JESUS CHRIST. HOW COULD HE HAVE DIED? HE HAS SAID IT REPEATEDLY; “THE CHILDREN OF GOD CAN ONLY CHANGE ADDRESS, THEY CAN’T DIE”. THE MANY KIND “R.I.P’s”(Rest in Peace) CAME A LITTLE TOO LATE.NO NEED FOR THAT AT ALL! MY FATHER, EVANGELIST JOB ALABI FOUND REST AT THE AGE OF 16 WHEN HE GAVE HIS LIFE TO CHRIST AND HAS JUST ONLY ENTERED REST. HE HAS FOUND REST ALREADY. HIS PRAYER REQUEST WAS; “MAY I NEVER DISAPPOINT GOD FOR I KNOW HE WON’T DISAPPOINT ME”. HE DIDN’T DISAPPOINT GOD.
A FEW HOURS AGO. AFTER A LOT OF PERSUASION, HE AGREED TO GO TO THE HOSPITAL AND TOGETHER WITH ME, WE WALKED INTO THE OFFICE OF THE DOCTOR. NO HIGH BLOOD PRESSURE-NOTHING! HE WILL ALWAYS JOKE- “THERE IS NO EMPTY ROOM FOR HIGH BLOOD PRESSURE, WHAT IS THERE TO BE WORRIED ABOUT”. AS HE LIED DOWN ON THE BED IN THE HOSPITAL, HE BECAME UNCONSCIOUS AND WHILE UNCONSCIOUS HE DECLARED CLEARLY; “JESUS CHRIST!” AND OPENED HIS EYES TO LOOK AROUND THE ROOM AND THEN SHUT HIS EYES AGAIN. HE DID THAT A COUPLE OF TIMES AND THOSE WERE THE LAST WORDS HE UTTERED. HE CALLED THE NAME OF HIS LORD AND MASTER; “JESUS CHRIST!”. WITH THE USUAL CONFIDENCE OF FAITH, WE ALL KNOW HIM FOR.
MANY HAVE ASKED ME WHAT HE SAID AND I AM GLAD TO SAY THAT ALL THROUGH HIS LIFE AND MINISTRY, WE ALL KNOW WHAT HE SAID; “THE GOSPEL IS THE POWER OF GOD UNTO SALVATION- CHRIST DIED, CHRIST WAS BURIED AND CHRIST WAS RAISED ACCORDING TO THE SCRIPTURES”. NOTHING ELSE HE WOULD WANT EVERYONE TO REMEMBER BUT THE “GOSPEL.”
AND AGAIN, HIS CONCERN WAS ALWAYS; “ONE MORE MESSAGE, ONE MORE SOUL FOR THE KINGDOM”. PRAISE GOD!
TOMORROW I SHALL BE PREACHING THE SAME GOSPEL AND TRUSTING FOR “ONE MORE MESSAGE, ONE MORE SOUL FOR THE KINGDOM”. YES, TOMORROW THE GOSPEL WILL AGAIN BE PROCLAIMED- THE SAME MESSAGE, THE SAME EXPERIENCE AND THE SAME OUTCOME JUST AS THE FATHER SENT JESUS CHRIST (JOHN 20:21).
THANK YOU AND SHALOM!

They are still building university, wen d ones we have are not well managed, graduate roaming d street in search of job, they still building university, give youths jobs, we are tired of going to school to make first class without any result for d future.
Oyo state government (this administration led by Gov Abiola Ajimobi) is the useless administration i have ever seen...The government abandoned all the schools in the state...They didn't pay more than 8 months salaries, more than 15 months subvention to Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (LAUTECH ogbomoso). Those students are at home for the past 12 months now and the useless oyo state government led by Ajimobi found it worthy to go and establish Oyo State Technical University. Posterity will judge. Now they've closed Emmanuel Alayande College of Education Oyo, Oyo state School of Agriculture Igboora all in Oyo state basically because the government haven't paid salaries of the staff and refuses to pay subvention funds to the school for development and research as well. The sad story to this is that Oyo State and Osun State jointly owned LAUTECH and both state still find it difficult to finance the school. The two Governors Aregbesola and Ajimobi are useless as toilet roll used to wipe bum-bum.

Leaders that lack wisdom. How on earth can you build another technical school when the so called Ladoke Akintola University of Technology is dying in ogbomoso. LAUTECH has been on strike since last year, Ajimobi and his so called colleague Aregbesola did not find any solution to the problem. He is commissioning another school when he cannot manage just one. You can't deceive us, central back or no central bank when you can not manage LAUTECH I wonder how you will be able to manage your technical school. God will judge all of you for the destinies you held down here in LAUTECH. Playing politics with students lives.

If a family is in good order,it shows that the bastard of the house hasn't grown. This is the case of LAUTECH presently, The Governors of Osun and Oyo states have turned nonchalant attitude to the development of the school. They've wrecked the school through their arrogance and insensitivity. Some years back, when the ex-governor (Alao Akala) of Oyo state discovered that Osun state government is not contributing effectively to the school again, he moved to acquire the school, that is, to be solely owned by Oyo state and share the resources with Osun state so that they will develop their UNIOSUN (university of Osun) to the full capacity...but he was resisted by the indigenes of Oyo state and the monarchs in Oyo state. He left and Governor Ajimobi took over whilst Aregbesola also assumed the post in Osun state. Ever since then, Osun has been doing awkwardly and two years ago, Oyo state also joined them. LAUTECH in 2003,2004,2005, 2006 was amongst the top 5 universities in Nigeria then. These two governor made sure that the school became shadow of herself through their nonchallant attitude and arrogance. Oyo state that is claiming not to have enough money to co-finance LAUTECH with Osun state went ahead to established Oyo state Technical University. Where are they getting money to finance the project ? at the detriment of LAUTECH...up till now both states haven't came out with any resolution. The stuidents are at home close to 1year now and staffers are being own close to 8 months salaries and several subventions to the school.
