As an atheist, I would say watching it is not a sin. It's when it becomes addictive that is harmful. Long term addiction to porn can cause cognitive impairments. Then you will be having memory losses, forgetfulness, difficulty reading and understanding, inability to concentrate, anxiety and panic attacks etc. Even when you quit, you might still suffer these symptoms as withdrawal which might last many months to two years.

Drug addicts, weed addicts, alcohol addicts report the same thing too.
