OP, mizmycoli and the rest that shares the same opinion. when the time comes sit back and relax at home while your right as a citizen of this country is stolen by thieves! then you come back later to lament on the woes of a failed government like the present one..

Change doesn't just happen, it does so with action! you are the action needed for a change, folding your arms won't improve this country. do the needful and let's enjoy its benefits wink

How did you come by your conclusion?
Before tagging "Nigerian girls" along,
How Naija girls have you met with clear intentions, that went on to say u wanna ask 'em out.
I am in Nigeria so its logical I relate with my environment and what's happening to me and that's how I came by the conclusion

BTW, if you wanna know how many girls I've met! just think of me as King Solomon cool

I get u point op but u seriously don't kn wot most guys do.friendly manner is diff from flirtin right? cos some guys intentionlly flirt wit gals and still claim friendly, and mind u wen d intention isn't known misconception is born.if d lady is single nd searching u ve to make ur being friendly clear or get ready to be misunderstood and d telling her friends part is just to look good in d sight of her peers.
I get your point too but am just saying girls conclude way too early and sometimes they do it at first meeting. angry

I flirt with my female friends just to know their inner side but it doesn't get beyond that! if I like them enough to go further fine, else its nothing more than a flirt. if they jump to conclusion then its at their own peril undecided

@Theplanmaker, According to what I read from you, you are really "theplanmaker" and am sure you'll excel in your law profession grin

sincerely, I feel no remorse for the op. even if you kill her, she knows she deserves it. if you had killed yourself out of regret and broken heart, she would still gallivant around like you never existed. such a cruel world men live with the daughters of Eve sad

But brother, thank God for the gift of life and you been able to get back at her is a blessing and a lesson for you, her and everybody reading this topic. Though the deed has been done and I hope the lesson has been learnt but then again, destroying a life won't add any value to yours. we learn from mistakes and try to avoid future occurrence, you've learnt yours! you even went as far as revenge and you succeeded, why not let go?

Funny enough, the evil ones might take actions both spiritual and physical against you for getting back at your enemy. bro, better you let go before blood (likely yours) spills over this issue #BeWise cool

Natasha2:
Erm poster you also have a misconception about it. To ask someone out doesn't necessarily mean you want him or her to be your bf or gf. It is just inviting someone to go out with you. For example I can ask you out to the cinema,or for ice cream or whatever it is I want us to do. But I guess everyone narrows "asking me out" to relationship and love.

And as for the other part guys do it too, a girls is being nice and you think she wants you.

So I'm asking you out right now @ op can you join me for ice cream next week? tongue
Madam, "ask me out" and "take me out" are two different things. pls don't get it twisted!

the former is used in a relationship process while the later is used in a casual meeting. what you are talking about is "take me out" e.g I wanna take you out for dinner. no strings attached but when I ask you out then the is intention of a relationship.

the only similarity is that one leads to the other (take out = ask out) but not in all cases.

RomanceNigerian Girls And Misconception Of "Ask Me Out" by adepiero(op): 4:29pm On Nov 29, 2014
Nigerian girls and misconception of the phrase "ask me out!" angry

Often times I've come across scenarios where a guy talks to a lady in a friendly manner only for the girl to tell her girlfriends that he is trying to ask her out! shocked

My ideology of asking a lady out is that first you invite her on a date or multiple dates and during one of such dates you let out your intention but in Nigeria, reverse seems to be the case. once you strike up a convo, she believes you've already started to ask her out undecided

Is this a Nigerian mentality or a misinterpretation of the word "ask me out" feel free to air your opinion smiley

slow and steady wins the race, timing and precision should also be considered.
