this issue has really been troubling my mind for years because i'v seen some people using their great grandfather's name as their surname and some use their grandfather's name while some just use their father's name.though this decision might not be made by them because i believe the parent must chose a name and surname for the child right from the childhood, but the question now is that if you are to chose a surname for your child, whose name will you use, you father's, grandfather's or great grandfather's?. For me i'm using my grandfather's name as my surname and i am looking forward to using my father's name for my kids

get it cleared well bro, the rank of a feild marshall is absolutly higher than that of a president and that is the main reason why democratic president are honoured with it though they are civilian coz it'll surelly be goin agaisnt the rule of a democratic government if there is another person in the country higher than the president
