mickel00:Rates looks quite alright.Which bank is this?? |
popizaino:So you want to compare Iniesta with Hazard with heat map?? Statistics bs is really killing modern day football |
TLona1:I swear some people can be shameless |
solmusdesigns:There are too many dumb people. What is industrialization without carbon ![]() |
eagleu:Coal is history?? This has to be the most ignorant thing I have read all day.smh |
gaetano:Thank you my bro. They preach green energy because they want dumb Africans to buy their hydroelectricity which is extremely expensive but they used carbon to be where they are today and are still using it.smh |
zamirikpo:Bonds are for those that already have businesses, have a long term project or things of that nature that need guaranteed money, those interested in growing their money or in most cases money for their kids in case of death. Collecting 6m+ a yr on a bond of 50m at 16% for 10-15 consecutive yrs doesn't sound bad at all. That's a guaranteed 60m+. Its just a scheme made for the already rich |
OgogoroFreak:Their govt only needs to make it easier to invest and manage Tbills from our banks here in Nigeria then we are good to go. |
AwkaetitiBabe:We get high moral standards?? This statement should go to the trash bin with the quickness |
IamR:The border closure thing is good for those already inside. Its not a long term policy so anybody that is new to agric or planning to enter that thinks he will take advantage should think twice. As for those of us that know that are not interested in investing in "real economy", hold fast to your money or move to bond if you cannot cope.We all know how unstable the govt and their policies are. Govt must always borrow. Not banking on that tho but we all know that there are higher chances of tb interest rates moving up |
Nakedman:Stop responding to trolls. Not everyone is happy you have money to invest in tb.They rather blame you for having money and believe you are the source of their misery. Individuals that have money are to blame for high level of unemployment in Nigeria than the govt. |
OgogoroFreak:You just to troll or what?? |
emmanuelewumi:What is 400bn you ask but the govt wants us to invest that amount in "real economy" to create jobs. Since they don't need the money,we might as well take it to people who need it |
DigitalMallam:Lol.Time for the Ghania govt to cash in big time. One thing i like about us is that we Nigerians are not afraid to take risks and by nature we move to greener pastures. All they need is to adjust their policies in terms of the residency permit thing, make it easier for Nigerians to invest in their tb from Nigeria through the various Nigerian banks already in their country, then sit back and watch what will happen. The Nigerian govt will not know what hit them by the time they lose N400bn tb requests they were doing gra gra rejecting |
DigitalMallam:Thanks a lot. I have never been to Ghana before. Is there anyway that can easily be obtained in the shortest period of time?? |
Please, can one move funds to other countries and invest in their TB?? Looked up one african country that was posted here and their rates were really attractive. My TB will be due by February |
Akin3891:Is Secondary market back?? Is it advisable to put in funds now or just wait cause I think tok such demand at this period will drive down rates |
isangjohnson:Undeveloped plot is the best as people prefer building their own house to buying an already built one.Developed plots again are not cheap and telling someone to drop 30M cash is unfathomable as that will rock many financially and many do not even have the money to begin with.No mortage system to help out.Even in advanced societies, people do not drop cash for houses. There's so many odds against people who indulge into structures. Best is to just buy undeveloped plots.Leave it till it matures well enough to fetch you something decent and sell it off. Easier to find buyer for an empty space than for a house |

The whole house wahala was what I was trying to explain to someone on this thread who was singing the tune of diversifying one's portfolio especially moving into properties. Owning a property is sweet on paper but in reality can be a pain in the neck especially if you invest in structures. Buying a house in a good location in this country is 40M and above. How many have this amount? There's no equilibrium in terms of demand and supply. This forces owners to bring down the value which many at times are not even met because nobody has the money to pay the said amount |
Donbrig:Making profits by withdrawing money without authorised access and proper notification. He made it clear when he needed the money removed. What if he needs the money urgently or decides he doesn't want to go ahead with the Tbill transaction again?? All this nonsense happen because there's no law and order. In a sane society, its enough to slap them with a hefty civil suit |
ahiboilandgas:Not smart but being pure thieves. Its a shame we don't have regulations to checkmate all this rubbish. You can imagine how much they will make with his money in these number of days.smh |
Igbosmoker:Nothing like assumptions here.Messi is probably the most powerful footballer in the world at the moment and has a say in who Barca buys and sells.Hes more powerrul than Valverde who is more of a cluless yes man.The main reason Ronaldo left Madrid was because the club didn't afford to give him that luxury to make those decisions and that's why he said he didn't feel welcomed. If Messi says today that he doesn't comfortable playing under Valverde, best believe that man is getting sacked in under 24hrs.He's in the club because he has the backing of players like Messi, pique and Suarez. Pique said that the players were ready to forfeit their wages and go against ftp regulations in order to get Neymar back. The senior players publicly backed the idea of Neymar coming back despite us spending that much just to sign Griezmann and all of a sudden Griezmann is playing so bad. Neymar is not a Barca player today is because of the clear divide in the dressing room of his return.Players like Rakitic who opposed the swap deal were all of a sudden dumped to the bench Last time I saw Griezmann play as a cf,he scored 2 goals in the game. What was he doing as a wide man against Slavia even when Suarez was injured?? Did we sign him to play as a winger rather than give Suarez competition?? Dude played in a midfield of 4 away against Slavia. But immediately Dembele came in,we shifted to a 4-3-3 formation. That Sparta match sums up what is going on in the club We need a manager with strong character at this club who delimits the influence this players have especially on dealings on transfers.Someone who has the balls to stop this bromance that's going on and unite that squad.Suarez can't continue to shoot blank in the champions league for 2 years now and he's starting every champions league game and playing full 90 mins just because he is friends with Messi. If you don't perform, you don't play. Its that simple.Griezmann a much better option needs to take that position. The unnecessary segregation of Griezmann needs to stop.We can't continue to spend millions only to waste them by playing them out of position.Bart needs to man up and lead this club as a president. |
bendo75:Nobody pulls down his brother more than the black man.Nigeria has the highest number of black people in the world. So that should at least show you how things roll in this part of the world. People will rather support the govt who remove foods from our plates instead of putting them there to fvck us all over than seeing their neighbour live better lives than them. They rather cut their noses to spite their faces. |
Ikennablue:Griezmann awful?? You clearly have not watched any of our games this season.Dont let stats deceive you.He can performed more as a cf than wide man.The guy is being played as a LW.He has being alienated by Messi. Dude played in a midfield of 4 away against Sparta.i watched the full 90 mins and dude played more as a midfielder than an attacker in that game. That's when I knew it was better to forget this season even existed Messi is a huge centre piece in this whole mess we are currently in. Messi will pass to Suarez when he's one on one with the Keeper but will never pass to Griezmamm in a 2 vs 3 situation. Also him being good friends with Suarez means that Griezmann will not start ahead of Suarez even when its evident Griezmann will perform better in that position than Suarez.Valverde still has the backing of Messi because despite Valverde over staying his welcome at the club,he's a coach that clearly has no control over that dressing room.Messi determines who plays and which position they play. He's clearly sabotaging Griezmann so that we can do the same thing we did with Coutinho just that in this situation the club can enter a swap deal to trade Neymar and Griezmann since Griezmann who is clearly played out of position can not perform out from the wing. How the hell are we rushing and injured Jordi Alba back from injury to play 45 mins against Sparta but can't do the same for Junior The board are spineless cause with Messi's contract stating he can leave at the end of each season, they cannot afford not to do his biddings. If they appoint a coach with strong character like Koeman, he may put a stop to all of this nonsense.Neymar not coming to Barca may not be the primary cause of all of this mess we're in cause it started 2 seasons ago,but it has really escalated all of this. Messi,Pique,Suarez are part of the senior players of the club that are very close to Neymar. They are the problem of this club. |
Ter Stergen has been our player of the season so far not just in terms of saving our asses so many times but has shown tremendous leadership qualities on and off the field. He has really protected the image of the club, the players, the fans a lot this season.De Jong is another player next to him that has shown up when needed. Both should be future captains and Marc imo should be wearing the captain arm band at the moment when Messi is not available.Players such as Pique,Busquet and Messi haven't really led the team this season.smh |
airmark, you no dey troll for Barca thread again?? lol ![]() |
I think the players have waited too long and now see that poor performances is not moving anybody at the helm of affairs of the club and now resorted to using results. Can't continue to save that guys job by winning home matches. We need to save our season right now before Christmas |
I have never seen this club go this low since I became a fan.We are having a disaster of a season and the worrying thing is that the board is at the forefront of everything I know we all love Messi but he has to take a blame in this too. He's the captain of this club and has the weight to turn the fortunes of this club not just on the football field but behind the scene.Valverde is still keeping his job because Messi is one way or the other behind him.I can't imagine Valverde being here if Messi is not backing him. The dressing room is at an all time low and we play without hunger and look lost. A lot needs to change |
ositadima1:This is a very bad mentality and its why Nigerians especially traders jump into lagoons when an incident occurs. Many people don't recover due to lack of "financial backings" and this has led to untimely deaths or families being wrecked for life all because of "paying for what I don't need".Insurance companies are not charity organizations but we cant use because the bets are against us or because they make profits and not do the right thing. Dangote ,the richest man in Africa still insures every bag of cement he produces.Do you really think losing 1 bag of cement takes away anything closely significant to his wealth?? Do you think he can't absorb losing one full trailer of cement?? Petroleum business is a very high risk business that's compounded by bad roads. There was a report here on nairaland that Nigerians lose billions of naira yearly due to bad roads only. You can't expect a person doing business that involves moving tens of millions on our roads to just absorb shock when accidents occur. |
koning:Thank you my brother.I already said it in the treasury bill thread that renting is probably the worst form of investment especially if you want to take low risks with at least reasonable income. How can someone purchase an old 6 block flat for 45 million and is collecting rent of 25K/month?? Hes not even making a profit of up to 10℅/annum. That's outright madness. At the end of day, maintenance has to be done, property tax is being paid and some tenants may decide not to pay. Problem is the whole idea of being a landlord. So when avg people make that first money, they go and dump it all in building and then probably go broke or are collecting paltry amount all in the name of rent.If not for comfort or a person is really rich, living in your private house is a waste of money especially for a person that doesn't have that extra money.smh |
Thanks all for your input. So much appreciate it. |
So over the past few weeks,I have been thinking about diverting into Agriculture. Palm Oil production to be precise.Got wind about the sale of 2 plots of land that was full of palm trees in a remote area that is known for oil production this week only to be disappointed that they were already sold. They have already started looking for sellers for me My question is what does it take to start up an oil mill?? How profitable is it?? I have little knowledge about it but want it to divert into it especially with this whole TB saga and my TB is maturing on February.Sorry for derailing but I feel i can get the information i need here |
