Okay so under pressure, south east Nigerians have now gone full circle and now care so much for Buhari and the north. This is progress, Nigeria we hail thee. |
Common incompetence they are calling cluelessness . mtcheww |
Jakpon:You must be very young if this picture depresses you. Obasanjo is not supporting Buhari even though Buhari is going to win the elections, Obasanjo will have nothing to do with it. Obasanjo wants Interim National Government which every lover of democracy should resist. The fulfillment of the Ibo nation is not in anyway negated by a Buhari win. The north is not a hotbed of evil manipulation against Nigeria and Ibos and they are human beings like yourself with collective aspirations. It is the express design of God that you were born as an Ibo just like northerners are northerners. The Ibo nation should make a very serious case for the presidency to move eastwards in 2019 within APC. The PDP is dead as a party. All commercially minded, businessmen politicians should be violently resisted by the Ibo nation and APGA/APC should be the vehicles for actualization. Politics is not business and the attitude must change in the region. |
Keep this noise up. It might just help Jonathan maybe. |
NobleAky:This is wishful thinking as usual. |
suwailad:There is nothing seven times faster than the speed of light. This is the kind of shallowness and lack of education that has Nigerians clapping for second hand locomotives and coaches on outdated narrow gauge railway tracks calling it TRANSFORMATION. |
Flets:SIPRI has not even updated 2014 figures of purchases. You don't know this stuff. A lot of us study the arms business. Anyway to answer my question myself. We were able to buy more weapons in the early 80s compared to now because $1 = N2. to N5. Also there was no corruption in the military before IBB came. Jonathan has destroyed Nigeria's military. The Nigeria Airforce has bought about 12 civilians jets and civilian helicopters between early 2013 to now. It is just now they remembered to buy combat jets and helicopters. An airforce general who buys civilian jets and VIP choppers first is very compatible with Jonathan's character. |
NavierStokes:The figures on the right are not numbers of weapons but dollar amounts. Nigeria was indeed spending billions on defence in 1982, 1983, 84 and 85.. Let me give you an IQ test. How came Nigeria was able to spend more than $900million on defence in 1984 when oil was just $35 but could not even spend $300million last year when oil was $120 a barrel?. |
masterpower:If holy ghost thunder cuts off the heads of those insulting the President who will be left in the country?. The above joke is mine in response to your post but it is not as funny and silly as Jonathan's own; "If I arrest all corrupt Nigerians, who will be left to run the country?". This one will be quoted in history books for a long time. |
This is also not true. I am an APC supporter and I saw on TV a large crowd gathered to attend the campaign. There is nothing to be gained telling lies on both sides. I think the APC will win the state but the attendance at the PDP rally was not bad. |
This is a really stupid man. I don't care if he is President. This statement is so silly on multiple levels and very un-presidential. Three quarters of all Nobel prize winners did not make first class. Steve Jobs of Apple, Bill Gates of Microsoft did not finish university. The most creative aircraft designers in the US never went to university. First class degree is not a requirement for astronaut school in the US. |
valicious1:I can confirm that you are very good at lying. Even the way you are standing your ground on falsehood. They must be paying you well. AIT and Channels TV carried this thing. All these lies you are sharing, FeBuhari will answer, continue.. |
No judge will accept this CASE and any emergency overnight court ruling like Bassey Ikpeme' s many years ago will set the country ablaze. There is even no need to warn anybody. |
Long and short. Jonathan cannot handle Nigeria at low oil prices. He has promised too much to individuals, billionaires and TAN members and there would be no money to pay. There is the risk that he will get Nigeria even further into debt. The companies they privatized have been given tax holidays which is 'high way robbery'. Thy have not reduced petrol prices which is 'stealing by tricks' and they would try the old tricks of stealing from infrastructure budget and finishing those same projects by making them PPP or using Chinese loans which is 'corruption'. |
valicious1:This pictures were a long time before or after the event. Anyway there will be no arguments in February. I have your nairaland profile and would be contacting you to tell you how wrong you have been. |
LIES, LIES, LIES. I watched this live. Ibos would never disrespect a visitor. Rochas worked the mammoth crowd with his oratory even better than usual. Very big crowd. He raised his hands, said listen and every body kept quiet. He did some verbal gymnastics with Buhari' s name creatively translated into Ibo to great laughter. He introduced all legislative aspirants. Amaechi worked the crowd in his usual belligerent way, Saraki worked the crowd, Ngige spoke well, Osinbajo and Buhari were sedate in their speeches as you must be when you are a respected visitor in Ibo land and the crowd LOVED it. Rochas has the full love of his people and you could tell it was him first they wanted to see and a lot of curiosity about Buhari. |
Mogidi:This one Na prostrate?. Baba is doing it for the two children getting married. You can continue to deceive yourself. That special day was not for Jonathan, it was for the kids. This is to make the kids happy as they go into marital life. It is this kind of thinking from his supporters that has sent Jonathan back to Otuoke in Februar, lack of gracious behaviour and thinking. Ibos alone will make Jonathan President, 50 million voters in the north are not important, northern elders and Baba are touts, the only interests in Nigeria are SE and SS. Very many failure generating attitudes to politics that will be answered with thumb prints on election day. Keep it up. |
londoner:The foreign investments you see in Nigeria are being done from corporate boardrooms in Europe, Asia and the US as part of their corporate strategy. It is to make profit for them and also bring good things to Nigeria in terms of jobs and GDP. Every government has a duty to attract investment it is why we elected them. We have had the macro economic frameworks for good foreign investment in place since the first two years of Obasanjo. Let nobody deceive you. The Jonathan gov t through Aganga has actually tried in the luring of physical asset investments into Nigeria but since the framework is there any other government will continue along the line. |
MyParadise:You guys are getting everybody angry with your fearful analyses and low IQ thinking. Can't you see the forest from the tress? These guy is scared shitless and fighting against a future jail term for himself and his friends. He is going to beg Obasanjo again in Ogun State to pipe down or quickly bring his Interim National Government. Complete nonentity that should not even be an LGA chairman. |
omolami:It is your lack of exposure that is making you fall for this. The man has performed badly in many areas. Areas like corruption and defence and he is telling you technology will fight corruption and he has told the NSA to give report at Baga. Immigration services killed many youth, this man and his semi illiterate minister of education prolonged ASUU strike for 5 months and destroyed the academic year for millions. I read someone on Punch who finally woke up intellectually and is asking if reviving railways that my grandfather rode on and building roads we should have had 10 years ago or refurbishing airports which should be an ongoing activity should be called TRANSFORMATION? And I was happy that many people were indeed thinking like me. This was the same way Spaniards and Portuguese deceived our stupid ancestors with mirror and gunpowder and made them sell themselves as slaves. |
Samchelsea:Okay these particular ones are particularly clueless sounding. No. 9 and 10 especially. Does this man have no intelligent advisers?. |
otil1:Wr were not queuing after six months. All forex issues were solved and profiteering were eliminated. There was even no more need for price controls after some time. Please dont take a traders view of the events at the time. Buhari practical caused FMCG sector boost in 83/84 |
gogochocolate:If you dont believe Buhari did more during PTF days and will do more for Ibos then you are a tribalist and lacking in vision |
Orunto:You just lost all northern nigerian supporters and insulted all intelligent SE, SW and SS voters. All these words you typed here, are you just learning them?. Some of us have been hearing it for more than 40 years and we are still voting Buhari so go back to your masters and look for another combination of words. GMB for President in FeBuhari |
ojofree:They have told you but you and your president are too cowardly to face it. They will send corrupt people to KIRIKIRI. The laws are there, the institutions are there. KIRIKIRI. It is clear, direct and unambiguous enough. |
Buhari has already displayed the intelligence to fight corruption. That is why smart people are voting for him m. What we saw of the President last week however was that he lacked even the intelligence to DEFEND corruption. Condemning Jim Nwobodo' s jailing in the language of a small time village thief and reading the speech of a corrupt coup plotter/head of state who never even went to university was a new low in the depths that this PhD holder president will descend to retain power. |
It is very interesting how unintelligent most pro Jonathan e-warriors are. There is a new assault in all online media by these dummies. Poor quality, hastily composed write -ups that are devaluing their candidate. |
I love these two sentences; ...."he has chosen to fight corruption with good strategies" and "he does not like to make a big show of it". These ways of putting it make your post cceptable in a nursery school for mentally challenged children or an old people's alzeheimer ward. |
nerodenero:They have to function now because the aggrieved is connected. Anybody voting for PDP at any level really has to examine himself and his motives. |
onyengbu:This is just the point I make to young Nigerians especially from the SS and SE. It is hard to believe but trust me, We were not forging certificates in the sixties in Nigeria especially in the north. The British were superintending admissions into military schools in Nigeria so it is hard to imagine an unqualified person became an army officer. Most of you poorly educated products of a defective system are the ones making noise here and showing your backgrounds. |
He is going to tell Baba he supports Interim National Government ING if it will keep Buhari away from the Presidency. These people are actually the most shameful set of human beings. |
