Buhari has BOUGHT the COFFINS of corrupt politicians and civil servants already. They should just resign themselves to fate. |
Mopolchi:Buhari won't dialogue with NDA. He will dialogue with a few genuine groups . NDA boys will be wasted by Nigerian security agents and other ND actors. Meanwhile the entire region is being infused with more, more and more troops and security agents. |
donbenedict:The PDP governed for 16 years and destroyed the Niger Delta. This Oporoma town you see, if you fly by air from PHC you will see the most agriculturally rich rain forests (not salt water swamp) in Nigeria. There is a world class rice farm established in the 60s/70s at Peremabiri. This area is so blessed in everything apart from oil that it makes me angry to discuss. They are where they are because of PDP and an empty man called Goodluck Jonathan. Just to make things clear, there was also a man called Melford Okilo who was Governor of Rivers State when Bayelsa was not created . That man, the natives of this place admit did more for the LGAs that later became Bayelsa when oil was much cheaper and Rivers was much bigger. Okilo is the template that ND governors should be following. The truth is very BITTER but we will continue to say it. The problem with Nigeria Delta was Alamieyesegha and the leadership he gave to the quite clueless Jonathan. Jonathan will always copy any body who was his master. |
I have said this same thing countless times. Nigeria is the only entity stopping the southward expansion of Radical Islam. You have to be an IDIOT to think the hotchpotch ethnic nationalities left of a divided Nigeria can withstand Islamists. I am tired of advising stupid Ibo and SS youths . The destruction will be total and God protect the women that is all I can say. These guys are dastardly, they start their battles by sacrificing hundreds in suicide bombings. When Nigeria divides it will be a blitzkrieg. You will then know what the Bible describes as " hordes ". |
MrDavidson:The people who defend corrupt people are in a bad SPIRITUAL state. They can't even help it. It is a mixture of ethnicity and maudlin sentimentality for Jonathan. They know the man and his people are guilty as he'll, he even admitted all in his closing speech but because the black man is sentimental, immature, soft, lazy, cowardly, irresolute and primitive, there is a lack of appreciation for hard acts necessary to clean up a system. 90 percent of these people would join a crowd to burn in the streets a teenager caught for stealing a few hundred naira but for a man who swore to defend the law and stole they would waste sympathy and emotion. That is the FLESH lusting against SPIRIT. |
People have chosen NOT to use their brains in this country. So heads are being knocked against rocks in futile attempts at cracking the rocks, I think it is heads that will split open. So for the upteenth time: 1. It is not Buhari's job to institute this funny thing called "true federalism ". 2. It is not in APC's manifesto and PDP did not also promise any such thing. 3. The Nigerian urban middle class should stop confusing itself with unworkable theories . This is not the time for true federalism. The states don't have the internal resources to do it. 4. If you are a dumb Niger Deltan who is looking at oil and gas, the FG is owing JV companies about $6bn as we speak. The work program for next year is probably another $3bn and the oil itself is being sold below cost price. 5. People should stop over simplifying issues and actually go into the nitty gritty of things. Maybe then they will realise that the current problems Nigeria has can only be solved by hard work, discipline and not stupid tinkering all to avoid pressure. 6. There is no free lunch anywhere. Even.the developed world is just on a razor thin distance from another depression. 7. When we stabilise the economy , diversify effectively into agriculture and solid minerals, I believe we can then have viable states and then.we can institute true federalism. Finally again, it is not Buhari's job. It is not in his job description and it is not in his oath of office. Start your journey from the National Assembly. |
Emmysteve:You have to Google what happened in 1979. I will tell you first hand. Nigeria's economy was MENDING in 1979. The oil price was low but we were repaying loans and defending the local manufacturers who were steadily expanding. If economy to you is buying rubbish from Dubai and selling in Jankara market then you are lost in the Jonathan era which will never ever happen in Nigeria again but if economy to you is to be like India and Germany and try to produce everything you can within your country then you cannot conclude that Buhari s first regime was wrong |
Abeymills:Buhari will burn them all to dust. Get was NOT the one who destroyed the economy . He is NOT the one bombing economic assets of NigerIa. There is a sword of damocles hanging over enemies of Nigeria and Buhari only needs this "Nigeria will burn" attitude so that people's punishment will be full. Believe me 2016 is the year of PUNISHMENT. When people have broken their heads on the rock of needless resistance to the anti corruption war and they are looking at their destruction in the face then they will get wise in their hunger and realise that corruption of any kind should not be permitted in any human system |
naijaboy756:Just don't be like him if they give you leadership opportunity. |
naijaboy756:The man is right. If you are honest about Jonathan you will agree with him. He is a natural ZOMBIE African leader. I have studied him for some time. Even amongst Bayelsa politicians he is third grade. Complete Tabula Rasa. No personal ideas, ideology, passions. He has not written any books, articles, led any social movement or done anything for anybody except paying his children 's school fees. If his supporters were highly knowledgeable people , he won't be their champion. I like to 'finish' Jonathan so much so that young people won't be like him if given opportunity |
anwe:You are showing emptiness here. Don't go to a party and say this kind of thing o |
giles14:Please get it straight. Amebo and Gulma are very good attempts and commendable tech. demonstrators but Nigeria has still some work to do before perfecting technologies and definitely not in the MALE class yet in terms of UAV tech. |
dumie:Wow. Nigeria is finished. This is an extremely idiotic comment. Please educate me, what is "widows empowerment "?. How can a governor with vision in an important state under this current condition call this a program?. The Governor is a very big fool, his supporters are even bigger fools. This stupid " local" program is coming from the bedroom of the half educated Mama Piss They are going to finish Rivers State money and I suspect this is because EFCC is shining a light on the finances of the state. " Widows empowerment". Are they even a viable economic unit? Who even has the record of widows? |
eyeview:CCECC would actually be owned by Chinese government. They may be listed on the Shangai stock exchange so ordinary Chinese would have a lot of shares as well. Beer palour rumours are good but they should make sense at least |
Malocity:This is a clueless comment. It is not compulsory to post comments |
ZKOSOSO:Kogi is very close to FCT. There are more Kogi indigenes in FCT than any other people |
asha90:This is NOT Wike 's project. The houses have mostky being lying fallow since Amechi' s time |
This man and his party have wasted the youth of Rivers State. Every Nigerian is watching and a whole generation is going to cultism, armed robbery, rape and arson. Curses upon curses. Why Rivers Politicians. Your own children are all abroad. Can't you at least grow the middle class so that aspirational young people reach for careers in stead of crimes.? Why should all the towns be under militants ? Why? |
Sweetguy25:I would prefer to own a business than for my banker to be a part owner. In any case I am sure China will tie in SinoPec in there some how. So it will be mostly loans but with SinoPec being a shareholder and receiver of equity crude. China needs oil like craze man need dirty. |
ayzTIGER:Nigerian youths of nowadays are dull brained. It is now a national issue. The educational system is now so inferior that simple exertion to find out facts is lacking. These are project targeted loans to develop oil and gas reserves ( I hope offshore anyway ) . The projects pay off themselves in just two and a half years. Actually with Dangote and other refinery expansions in 2027 and the new gas prices coupled with targeted power of 40000MW maybe the projects pay off even before then. Nigeria can then expect a production level of close to 4 million barrels per day which can have such a multiplier effect on the economy that it grows GDP to1 trillion dollars as early as 2031 Every government must think of its youth, it's future but from what I am reading here the youths don't think of themselves. The money the FG has recovered is about 2 trillion including TSA. That is a far cry from what we need to develop infrastructure not to talk of our national business of oil and gas production. |
playtheblues:NO Only for the tribe that glorifies corruption |
RZArecta:This is rubbish. The truth is out. Buratai's wives are even richer than him. They own a micro loan scheme. Buratai himself has attended many courses and official visits abroad even before he was made army chief |
This is good news |
N538 billion in three years? From a genius ex Nigerian President; "" Corruption is not even amongst the most three important things affecting Nigeria negatively"" |
fkpboss:This is the man that will kill Jonathan. They better be careful in that ND |
fkpboss:This is what we want. The FG is now forced to move in and destroy completely. Since it would be an act against terrorists, there wont be much sympathy. Bonga field is in littoral waters . On the high seas. The blood of Niger Deltans is about to flow needlessly and they wont say they were not warned. |
bejeiodus:SR has not lied and Buratai declared the properties. |
DaBullIT:The man is playing a game . The NDA has not shown their faces yet and they may or may not have mapped their networks yet |
keyzid:So you idiots now believe that SR does not publish false news. That they are not on the payroll of APC. Now that you have matured to that level, do you now believe all that has been published about Dieziani and GEJ?. I believe EFCC will call Buratai for questioning soon but let us all agree that the anti corruption wave is not unbalanced |
deathmen12:Buhari is very wrong doing this. Negotiation and begging will NEVER solve the problem. These guys are anarchists. At the end of the day, you have to go in and shoot some mofos and napalm bomb some other mofos. The Nigerian Army should be properly equipped for this task. |
