Obama has already destroyed Trump. All Hilary 's transgressions are now in the cooler as the dumb billionaire politician gets distracted by Obama, a KIA Muslim Family , his wife's illegal status for a year and ultimately his taxes .

Trump has also shown a lack of calm authority with his behaviour during campaigns. The US public are seeing through this fake and unlikely anti establishment politician

Politics › Re: Why President Buhari Is Simply The Best ... A Must Read ! by Adminisher: 11:44am On Aug 04, 2016
Buhari was the man they put Nigerian political and economic elite under for some discipline.

He is and will take down their corrupt trousers and deal very PAINFUL whip lashes to their BUMS for the next 8 years. No power in heaven or earth will stop it because God has decreed it. Whether you are APC, PDP or ND militant supporter, it will happen as decreed. IF you don't understand it just accept it. Your strong political views, anger, frustration or any other is besides the point. If you get violent you lose everything (your life) and everything continues.

I have studied the bad luck that came to Nigeria between us 2014/2015/2016 and I see the hand of God in it.
Even ND militants making things even more difficult for their people is all part of it.
The tomato crop crisis is part of it. Lack of buyers for crude oil is part of it.

The solution is TO LEARN, HUMBLE and CORRECT ourselves as a country and be closer to God through Christ.

Yes bro.

This was what touched me. It seems virtually all the oil dependent economies are bad.

Nigeria seems to be doing fairly good if not for the vandalism and security challenges around.
Venezuela is the absolute worst of all oil exporters. Saudi Arabia has invested very well yet they have so much problems, they are finding it difficult to pay foreign workers. Nigeria is very well managed thank God for Buhari. Goodluck would not have been able to control his own administration and things could have been worse than Venezuela

Most people out of tribal inferiority complex get into personalities instead of issues. NOI worked with OBJ even more than Jonathan so for almost 16 years she was in charge of the economy. What is the issue with consulting her? Was Augusto not consulted, was Sanusi not consulted?

In any case, Okonjo, or anybody does not have any magic key to the economy. She in fact caused our problems. Only an idiot will deceive himself that the current problem will not last 2 more years. It is usually 7 years to get out of recession for developed countries and 3 and a half for developing countries. Nigeria has a structural problem that has caused short term cash flow. Borrowing is temporarily difficult because there is a larger economic slump overseas. Only the US is marginally better and they have issues too.
Hardwork, discipline, endurance and innovation in technology are the things that will save us.

"permitted" ? because they sell a plane to us so they'll tell us how and when we can use them? I believe its all about political will power and how interested they are in the matter, the US sells very potent platforms to countries with far worse human right standards than Nigeria.

personally i believe if they are not ready to give us an advanced version they should keep their turbo prop plane.
I disagree on the Alpha Jet.
We should extend their operation another ten years, get some PGM capability and buy more from German Air force stocks. We have developed world leading core competency on this Aircraft and many European Airforces are still using them. It is the only fast mission time COIN aircraft we have now and wearn have mastered quick accurate targeting with data coming from ISR aircraft. How many African countries do you think can do this now?.
Super Tucanoes can do its own ISR and attack on its own but the aircraft is slower and the weapons on board lighter.

I think we will get what Afghanistan got. Boko Haram is worse than Taleban and ISIS and armed Fulani Herdsmen militants are classified by some US agencies as more deadly than BH. If they don't include PGM capability, we can get it through Elbit although there will bevery few instances we need to use PGMs .

Super Tucanoes tick a lot of boxes for Nigeria - methodical border patrol, internal security, some limited ISR, data link relay, basic training after Super Mushak, ..even search and rescue and UAV research observation.
They carry super accurate canons and good machine guns, dumb rockets and PGMs can be rigged in.
This is Nigeria

Have you visited the website posted on this thread already or you decided to jump into the discuss for us to know you said something
Meanwhile, I'd like you to provide us links to those figures you posted, not saying it's made up but I need to learn. Learning ends in the grave you know
I tried to post links but thought better of it. There are over ten pages of links on Google and the search was just "Nigerian food exports + Nigerian diaspora food".
I was travelling abroad as a fresh graduate since the mid 80s. Nigerian food market are everywhere. The UK probably has up to 300 in major cities, Houston, New York in the US probably that number. I have been in a Nigerian food shop in Calgary four years ago and seen a covered trailer of offloading Nigerian foodstuff - Yoruba store owner , Ibo supplier. Houston is unbelievable in this regard.

The funny thing is at least 50 percent of the food export business is even under the table so the FG is actually losing export duty money.

Obiano should not bring this Ugu matter of exporting as much as 5bmillion dollars so quick in a market that is at least 30 years old.

I rate him already as the third best Governor in Nigeria after El Rufai and Ambode. He is probably slightly better than Ayade so far in performance..but don't tell me lies about Ugu 5 million dollars export .

CAS HOLDS TALK WITH US GOVT DELEGATION ON ACQUISITION OF SUPER TUCCANO AIRCRAFT
CAS, Air Mshl Abubakar and HQ NAF Branch Chiefs during the meeting with US delegation on the acquisition of Super Tucano by the NAF.

So what happens if the Nigerian govenement decides to take a decision that's not in favor of the US?
The risk management for the US is that they will sell bare bone Tucanoes (maybe fitted with only canons) and we will have to buy the other good stuff and retrofit. They will not block retrofitted offensive gear from other countries.
The reason the US does this sometimes is not because they hate us but because we are currently classified amongst countries where democratic institution development is still a little poor and there are human rights criteria for Leahy law compliance.

I am sure that only the dastardliness of Boko Haram has even "qualified" us for the Tucanoes at the current time and YES we may not be permitted to use it in the ND or in the SE.
The US looks at Nigeria with matured , neutral , regional stability eyes and some of the decisions they take are influenced by CIVIL SERVANTS in the State Department instead of Politicians.

For people blaming Obama and Clinton, you need to be less amateurish about how power is structured in the US.
Nigeria needs to keep and pay lobbyists and PR firms in the US if we want to get good things out of Washington.

It is just a fact we have to live with.
Politics › Re: Obiano's Reply To Sahara Reporter On Vegetable Export by Adminisher: 5:47pm On Aug 02, 2016
So many responses missing the pount.

First of all Nigerians have been exporting at least 500million US dollars of vegetables and food stuff to Europe, Canada and Asia annually for years before Obiano became governor.

We probably did as much as 800 million USD this year already. Go to London, New York, Calgary, Toronto.

The issue is here that the gist of the State's earlier publicity on the issue was wrong. They lied and they should have come out clean to clarify in three simple sentences instead of this long epistle which was saying just the same thing. Anambra state did not export 5 million dollars worth of vege tables to Europe during the term of this and the last administration. NOT YET.

Obiano is in my view already the best governor in Nigeria. No need to spoil a good thing by overzealous aides exaggerating and reporting speculatively

This is the cowardly attitude of THIEVES when the punishment is impending they start bringing issues to confuse the process. Nepotism is actually permitted within bounds. There is Nepotism in the oil industry, PTF et.c. the entire Amnesty program is Nepotism. I get 20 CVs from young Nigerians looking for jobs and I will do all I can to fix them up. When I do it will appear to be Nepotism but I won't give a job to anyone if them not qualified.

This is different from large scale LOOTING as perpetrated under Jonathan. Stealing from future generations is not on the same level as helping a few from the current young generations.

I can name 5 investments that have left Nigeria since May 29th 2015.
Those investments must be corrupt businesses or 'fast money '. The stock market made 500 per cent gain after Naira liberalisation and Fuel Subsidy removal. PZ, Dangote, Lever Brothers, NBL, Car Assembly, Agro allied sectors are growing. The economy is being diversified so there will be pain. The ND militants are vandalising assets to send gas for power so there will be pain. There are corrupt New PDP people in APC in the Senate / Reps so there will be pain.
2016 is the year of pain. It is not Buhari's fault and as long as corrupt elements continue in corruption and sabotage the pain will continue and it won't even make Buhari lose in 2016 - there are many ways to prevent that so many people will just destroy themselves for nothing.

For Africa, it is the only way to achieve grassroots development believe me. So many studies already done on the importance of using women for micro-enterprise development. At worst they will use the money to buy food for their kids at best with hood banks supporting, they will develop cooperative businesses like farming, garri processing, oil palm, rice parboiling, charcoal making, candle making, pencil making...etc, c
