This decision will definitely have merits and demerits.

To me, seems the demerits may be more: Their currency has crashed to all low in 31years and there is tendency it will depreciate more after this decision. Also it may discourage foreign investors frm investing in the country. Football arm will no doubt be affected.

Currency crashing means investors will rush in. They want to regain back their manufacturing edge. Europe has many stringent rules for too many things and the size of the Euro zone market is not even up to the Commonwealth. India is now in a very powerful position with respect to the UK. Second is Nigeria. It is good NEWS for young Nigerians and Indians. Our graduates will flood their health, social welfare and IT sectors.

The NE development commission is to be funded by UN grants, EUROPEAN UNION grants, US government grants, donations by Nigerian billionaires and Nigerian tax payers money.

Since they have brought it up, I will talk.
Please mark this day and the HDI for that region. Educational enrolment, Health, child health care and crime level. Watch for three years and compare with SS .

Ignorance is all over this your post. The Beechcraft can't shoot missiles or rockets, it merely detects (very effectively too) and sends very accurate coordinates to the control center. . The F7 flies too high and too fast. The news is right , the Alpha jet which can load up to 2000 kg of rockets, bombs and missiles killed the Bokos based on coordinates provided by the Beechcraft.
