Is there any kennel club or association in Nigeria. If there is then every kennel should be registered.
We have a lot of scammers in the Nigerian dog business.
Also new breeders should be educated once in a while because anyone can wake up one morning and say they have a dog breeding business and give it a name.
Most of these people know nothing about dog breeding and how to take care of dogs.
Most are unaware of the breeds they have.
So please and please I'll suggest that before you call your dog breeding business a proper business you should register with the dog kennel association within your state and follow the guidelines.

there's nothing like close mix breeding. mix breeding is mix breeding if you want a cross breed neuter it don't breed. all pure breeds came as a result of mix breeding but it was planned with aims and objectives You just don't mix breeds to satisfy your curiosity. the pure breed dogs we have today did not come about as a result of a single mix breeding it took years to develop the breed and a lot of work was put in by people that know what they are doing not ignorant people doing backyard breeding.

Our government wasn't prepared or they were but our borders should have been closed since. Also I think we as citizens need to start paying tax on a regular. The government can't work alone. All we do as citizens is to go for campaign rallies and listen to big big talks from politicians. Then time for elections we vote. When we vote we think that's all but we as the citizens need to play our part. We need to pay taxes. We need to sit up and not just listen but participate. If our leaders are wicked they can't be wicked to everyone. They can't kill everyone. I just hope we all make it alive after this Corona thing. Please be safe

It’s because the government has no choice. The lockdown has damaged the economy so much that they are no longer making much money. At the same time, they are expected to continue paying their workers (armed forces, civil servants) including those who are not working. At the same time they are expected to feed all the poor people. Even the oil revenue that they love so much has dried up because of the global recession. They could not continue the lockdown even if they wanted to. We should have followed South Korea’s example from the beginning, but it is not too late to make the change. At least we have learned that imposing a lockdown doesn’t magically make the virus go away.

To be honest the government is very silly. Cases have been increasing profusely and they know that if they ease the lockdown it'll still increase but they decided to ease the lockdown. The same government that is complaining about beds at isolation centers.

I get your point but what I'm trying to say is some mixing shouldn't be done at all. These dogs have different temperaments. Don't support mixing of anyhow breeds because it has been done already. I don't even care about foreign countries. In Nigeria most people get into this breeding business and mix breeds and sell to naive buyers and that's how these things start to spread. So please get my point. Is Nigeria known for quality of any breed??

Don't be surprise an American breeder can wake up one morning and start a new breed of boerboel x Caucasian mix and make it popular. I have seen many absurd breed from from different line and are popular today.

Dachshund x Poodle
Dachshund x Great dane
Chihuahua x Putbull
Chihuahua mastiff mix etc.

There are many abnormal breed which are not in the same line coming to limelight.

Please we really need to stop mixing breed from totally different lines. If it was a mistake don't even try to sell them to people. The mixed breed isn't registered anywhere. Don't sell something you mixed . Don't mix dogs from totally different lines.
