System Reboot. After 13 years, when Anderson was meant to be released, the state just realized the nigga was never there. And they said, US marshals , "Open it up or we are bringing the door down quick" "As soon as I opened up the door, it was an army. I mean they had the shields. They had the helmets. They had the AR-15 style machine-looking guns. And they had the street blocked off like they came for a terrorist. And I said, "hey guys, you got the wrong person." And he just looked at me. and said, "nope, you're the definitely the right person" before we was arrested and dragged to jail to serve is the full sentence. He owed the system 13 years but Grace found a loop hole Now this is where luck evolved into grace. Anderson was taken to prison immediately but after nine months, his release was approved. Judge Terry Lynn Brown released Anderson on the grounds that his life over the previous 13 years had led him to believe he was a "changed man." Even though he was owing the state 13 years worth of time, Mr Anderson had become what the prisons were designed for ....."to turn the criminal around" (Anderson leaving with his family after release below). Anderson turned his life around Anderson did not misuse his opportunity. He married, had 4 kids, started a construction business, joined his local church, started doing humanitarian service, and even coached a youth football team. He did not change his identity and never tried to hide as he even renewed his driver's license

The year 1999 Robbery. August 15, 1999 in Missouri, Anderson robbed a Burger King manager at gunpoint of approximately $2,000 while the manager was attempting to deposit the money in a night deposit box at a bank and successful got away. No perfect crime. A witness saw Anderson leaving in a car and reported the license plate number to the police. When the police ran the number, they found that it was registered to Cornealious Michael Anderson. They did not catch him until two months later, when he was found hiding in his girlfriend's apartment. Trial, conviction, & appeal In March 2000, Anderson's jury trial for armed robbery began and the jury returned a guilty verdict and Anderson was slapped with a sentence running to a total of 13 years in prison. His attorney posted his bail which was approved and also appealed the conviction, arguing unfair prejudice as the police did not recover the robbery weapon but only found a weapon magazine in Anderson's home. The appeal judge, however, reaffirmed his conviction, which was appealed by the attorney to the Supreme Court of Missouri. But 4 out of the 7 justices voted to uphold the conviction again. When the Grace/Mercy or Luck started to manifest Instead of issuing an arrest warrant for Anderson, nothing happened. He called to find out when he was to resume to prison since the police ddnt come to pick him up. But, he was told to await instructions. Instructions never came. Anderson waited but no one came came for him. He and his lawyer filed another appeal in 2004 but no one noticed again that his address was still the same home address instead of the prison address where he should be appealing from at the time. Somehow, by a supposed system clerical error from two ends, both from the system that was to take him to prison and the system that was to receive and confirm he had been locked up, Anderson was somehow confirmed to be in prison and was never picked up for 13 years. 2 Likes |
