Their interests usually come first and they expect you to decide whether you will accept them as they are or make changes appropriately. So, whether a person is in a marriage— even in the case of a sexual companionship— or not in a marriage, that right remains — bodily autonomy — remains intact. That right to say NO remains no matter the situation.
