The bigger problem is actually the duration. They can say what they like really.
I signed that petition.
I never wrote IELTS before but I wrote Toefl iBT in January 2016 and scored 91/120.
And just like IELTS, By 2018 January you wan tell me say I no sabi the language wey I sabi just 2yrs ago?
That's the madder thing they are doing.

I was just about putting such call to anyone.
I plan to send next week. Thursday.
Courier plus will do it for 13500 in 3 working days. A group of 4 won't be a bad idea

Guys, is there any high court on the island? Around the German embassy environs, precisely? I have just been bounced by Oga Pauli foe coming late

Closest court i think is the Lagos High court, but u must return to CMS area from VI. Get back to cms and ask for Lagos high court, Igbosere. Its close by.

When applying for a Bsc course taught in English would IELTS / TOEFL be required or would the German uni just ask for 100 Level transcript and Waec etc?

Every school have their requirements.
So only the school has answer to this your question. Read thru the requirements of the schools u are interested in.

There are many folk's interview transcripts here. So u can get to read up on all that. Ofcos there's a list of documents to take to interview too. Read that up on the consulate site. It has been pasted here too in time past but for sure the consulate site will always give u latest updates.
You have put in a lot. Catch up some reading.

I don't see any complications about blocking before AD. You just need to keep pushing till you are thru and by that I mean trying to get an appointment date

@Pattilus007
Good you got an extension.
It's clear that it's best to fund your BA after you have been given a date by the consulate.
SL is Sponsorship Letter - this applies to you if you are using it. And its issued by the authorities in Germany to a legal resident (citizen or foreigner) who wants to sponsor someone to study in Germany. You going the BA way anyway.
V0- Thats Visa Officer. the person that will interview u on the date you are given
AM- Approval Mail. This comes to your email after a positive decision has been made on your visa application

Fom all i read, embassy might reset their system by end of this month. If u dont get a date before end of month, it might make sense to quickly cancel(if theres anything left in their system to cancel) and rebook first thing in October. Since u already have an extension till March which we can already call a summer admission in my opinion.
You will sure need to send your blocking confirmation to the embassy and of course have with you your admission letter and the document confirming you are allowed till march to enrol.
All are just my thoughts.

On creating an application with uni-assist for VPD, I entered the school name and the intended graduation.
The school poped up. But under the "choose discipline you interested in" the only option there is "all subject" instead of VPD that I want to apply for. Am confused.
Please go ahead and choose all subject. You are on course.

But this german embassy has been so unstable with their decisions....different rules every week, every day..even Nigeria is not this disorganized
It's sad my brother. No be their fault sha if we look am from another angle. Even our naija, let's be frank, where the free tuition education dey for tertiary level? And with our population, I'm sure we might be like second in the world with the number of applicants to their schools and their embassy.
Las las we go do what we can and see how things play out.
Big big congrats to every AM AL and AD in recent months.
Summer hopefuls no give up. Category B no mean say date no go show. With their new rules I guess CatA no go dey as plenty as it is now which is probably their aim.

Good day everyone, please for those that have gone thru TUM application before. I saw a couple of courses open for summer 2020. My question is, does TUM allow application into multiple courses? (I know some schools dont allow it). Thanks

Not sure though but I believe your bachelor's degree and transcripts will play a bigger role than your using a combined O'level (waec and neco) while seeking a masters degree placement.

Please what is the new amount everyone is talking about? Is the block account no longer 8800 euro which I saw on the embassy's site?
U haven't been here lately I guess.
€10236 (€853*12) effective Sept 1st.

Your 2.84/5 here translates to 2.6 on the German scale. I believe with a good search u can get in.
Your age and status has no effect whatsoever in my opinion.

Your 3.6/5 cgpa should come to 2.1 on German scale.
PDF files of your documents can be just original. However the school will exactly answer the question if they want it certified so peruse the requirements they want very well.
If your student copy has the required stamp on it from your school iit should be fine. If it doesn't please get an official one.

In my opinion, u absolutely have no problem
That u have been to Germany or going to Germany on a visitors visa does not disqualify you to go school there by making a study visa application.

I try not to look at other sources, not that they are not correct, but our jurisdiction speaks more. I went thru the German embassy naija site.
Now, €10,236 ( €853 monthly) is confirmed.
It takes off Jan 1, 2020. But take note, it applies to all visa applications submitted from Sept 1, 2019.
So if your visa interview date (which is the day u submit your visa application) is between now and 31st August, u are ok with €8640 BA qnd no need to top up anything. By 1st September, u must top up.
That's my understanding of what I read there.
Cheers

This economy can dwarf whatever your pay is because it's not entirely about one's pay. A lot surrounds it.
This decision is ultimately yours. Decide wisely.
